Hidden gem along a country road outside of Green Bay in a GAS STATION!!!! I walked in and there was only a couple tables available, and there was also a stack of to-go orders someone was picking up, so I know I was hitting some kind of gold mine. I ordered the BP burger which was like a Big Mac, and my wife got the Bacon Cheeseburger. Both of us had waffle fries. Total time from order to table: 14m 31s. Initial impression, HUGE. Smell? Like it was charred and came off of a charcoal grill. Fries? Large as well. Impressively large. She had a lot of bacon on hers to boot. Taste? Delicious. Moist, tender, flavorful... this you would never expect from looking at it on the outside. Nevertheless, we're coming back and this is going on my "Saved" list. What a hit! read more

Making sure everything on the receipt is actually in the bag. Great burgers! The buns are just so delicious and patties are made to order. My father said the hilltop burger was still his favorite burger to this day. The fries are crisp and also made to order. The staff are very nice, and when busy, still very patient. It can take a while for the food to be ready but, it's worth the wait. The only thing is I wish there were more seating read more

Located inside a gas station, this place is great. I have a friend that lives close by this place and it is near UWGB. Very reasonable prices. Clean. They have a nice little set up for social distancing. Places always draws a large lunch crown. Little noisey inside cuz like I said it is in a gas station. Had to wait awhile for the food. Well worth the wait. Two of my other friends got burgers. They were monsters. I got chicken strips. Very good. I had already taken almost half of the waffle fries off my basket and given them to a friend b4 I remembered to take a photo. But. That little basket I had was around 8 bucks. Convenient stop on our way out of Door County (late morning start). Prices can't be beat and did try the Hill Top (brat and hamburger patty) and Mushroom Swiss Burger. Good size burger and got tater tots as a side (also generous). Burger and mushrooms even were a tad heavy on the salty side. Drinks can be purchased as single serving or with refills but come as as a styrofoam cup. (I prefer paper over plastic and foam these days) - Pepsi products at the fountain (Mt. Dew, root beer, ice tea, Diet Dew are the choices I recall). We sat at booths close to the window, so was furthest from the tv which didn't seem too loud (yes, Fox News). Should mix sea and land next time with a Perch sandwich (they also have a Seaburger which I assume is cod). Normally would have ordered fries to test, but we got over-fried during our DC visit. Service was friendly and fast and it felt like the place where locals grabbed lunch and met their friends/neighbors. read more

I love this place never knew this place existed until this year. The burgers have always been good the 2 times I've been there. I mean yes the service was a bit slow but the burgers are worth it because it is a hidden gem inside a gas station that serves some phenomenal burgers and cheese curds. I never heard of this restaurant until a few days ago and ended up there last night by accident. I heard they had a delicious olive burger which I haven't had since Hot n' Now from years ago! I ordered the olive burger and onion rings, and they were absolutely delicious! Very nice staff too!!! can't wait to go there again and try more of their food. read more

Solid burger in a tiny little café attached to a gas station. Driving up I thought the place was way small but once inside it had some tables to sit at and booths. You walk up to the counter and order/pay. I ordered a strawberry malt, bacon cheeseburger and tater tots. The malt came first and it was really big. I ended up having to share it with my husband. I loved the flavor of it and it was rich and creamy. Then our food came to the table. The cheeseburger patty itself was a little disappointing as it was small. The rest of the burger was fantastic. Freshly cooked bacon, two pieces of cheddar cheese, onions, pickles and a lightly toasted bun. I loved that bun! The tater tots were also rather tasty I only wish they were seasoned with salt or something. I would stop in again if in the area but I am unsure I would go out of my way to come here. read more

Went in and ordered a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and fries. I asked that they hold the ham. The very nice girl at the counter explained to me that they couldn't make a grilled cheese only a grilled ham and cheese. She sweetly explained that she couldn't just put a piece of cheese on the grill to melt, she needed the ham too. I refrained from giving her the recipe for a grilled cheese that would have included bread and opted for ordering fries and a coke. As for the claim of "there is something for everyone".... I finally ate here after living so close to it for so long and I was not disappointed. I got the bacon cheese burger and fries as well as a chocolate malt. Everything was very good and the price was super reasonable. I would definitely eat here again. The service was excellent too. All of the workers were polite, pleasant, and friendly. We have had very good food from Hill Top before. But when we last went and the service was super uncoordinated, people that were there after us were getting served before us, and when we did get our food it was extremely salty, (and I like salt) but this was burn your lips salty and actually very difficult to eat, I was very disappointed. read more

Food is always good here but the person who answered the phone to take our pick up order needs to learn a little customer service and people skills (I'm pretty sure he's the owner. The one who yells at his help in front of his customers. No wonder he can't keep good help). When my husband called and said he would like to place an order for pick up the guy who answered the phone replied "you and everyone else". Who answers a phone like that for a restaurant business? Husband asked what the specials were and was told one thing but when we got there, the sign said something completely different. Our order included what was on the special board but we didn't get the special price. I really like the food here but the owner doesn't deserve my hard earned money. It's connected to a BP gas station, but don't be fooled, the burgers are great! You are not going to find a better burger anywhere for the price. I think I paid around $3.50/$4 for the Station burger, which was a brat patty, a hamburger patty, cheese, onions, pickles, on a toasted bun! Yeah, it was awesome. Fries are extra, but they have a large selection including Cajon fries, curds, waffle fries, or your standard shoestring. Each around $2-$4 bucks. Totally worth it, and you get a large amount. They usually have a daily special also including fries, burger of their choice, and soda ranging between $5-$7 bucks. That's a deal!!!!! This place is great! read more

Red meat is a treat for me and I generally would steer away from anything resembling a burger on most menus. The reason isn't cuz I don't like burgers either; it's just that burgers are a delicate art that aren't always done to greasy perfection. This burger delivers, let me tell you. It is so juicy and made with the best ingredients. You can tell these guys don't play. Located in a conveinence store, you'd never expect the food that they have. The burgers are to die for. Hefty burger char grilled on an egg bun w/all the trimings.
