I love this roller skating rink !! If you need to get out and move this is a great way to Do It. The rink is humble but obviously the town where the nestle factory used to be remains a legend. The roller skating rink was built when everyone in Syracuse and Fulton were still supported by blue collar work .... And it was a glorious time. But now the Nestle factory isn't there .. but the people remain and so does Bilou. A lot of kids there but also adults ! The skate management does a great job in turning the lights on almost every other song and they play the songs the teens all want to hear .. turn the strobes on.. lights off :) bug right after they turn on the lights and play a song to maintain the calm and super fun atmosphere. And the snacks are only a buck ! The price is very doable .. especially for a town where the unemployment rate is high. If you come to Bilou and you aren't happy with their business just go ahead and let management know .: from what I can see (and I have no affiliation with the management or rink) they are really doing their best. OK, I have skated yesterday at this rink. I had bad experience. Yes, bad one. First of all, as one star always removed if they are not clearly communicating with me. That is a loss, but second star is removed because the manager who was in charge of admission was not very friendly and did not hand me change instead he put it on the table. Traditionally you hand the change to the person. I was a cashier at stores in past so I know what being friendly means. He has no smiles. What is worse was that he lost another star. This is why I have 2 out of 5 because of his attitude and because of safety. The fire exit doors has a wood stud blocking. That is better than chain locks. But also what is bad is the front door exit blocked with stuff of his. I was going to leave and I noticed all things are blocked so I had to exit at the entrance door. Because of this, that is dangerous. Now, the place itself has shown age. The insulation needs replacement since I see its torn on upper walls and ceiling. Needs repairs. the floor I counted 25 spots or so needs truly sanded and polished with new polyurethane coating on the floor to protect the floor. Of course it is Maple wood in fan pattern for the turns. What is worse is that I was videotaping myself and doing selfies for my website and the owner does not like me doing that but other people were filming the rink themselves with their children! It does not make any sense. This is why he lost this third star. I highly recommend you find another rink. Poor attitude and safety reasons are high on factor for my concerns for you, skaters. read more

I don't know why there's so many bad reviews I've been here four times now and I love it. The staff is super friendly and can help you with any problem. I once broke a buckle on my roller blades and they didn't even charge me!! They gave me a new pare and told me to not worry about it and have fun. They play different games to keep you entertained and awesome music to make you dance on the rink. It only cost $9 a person and rentals are free. The snacks and drinks are a great price. They even have fun claw machines if your feet get tired. You should go to this rink. I can't wait to go today.This place rocks! read more

I've been here a few times and Ik I'm a kid but it's Saturday and me and my family went there yesterday day to skate bc their Facebook page and their website said they were open on fridays and we get there and it's closed all I ask is that they update their stuff read more

I love it here! Its amazing! I went here for a birthday party and I am in love with it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is for the roller skates and roller blades. The roller blades and skates are in bad condition and you don't know if someone with foot fungus was in that shoe! read more

From poor equipment, no an unfriendly staff, this place is not great. Quite often there are people that are routinely skating in the wrong direction, skating dangerously, or sitting on the skate floor and the management does nothing to prevent this. I explained to them this is a hazard to people, and it fell on deaf ears. This was second time there and the first was just the same. It is close and that's good but I'll not be going again. Save yourself the trouble if a bad skate session. read more

The owner operators are lazy, unprofessional, and rude. They swear on the microphone at the kids skating. They don't do any clean up at all. I broke my hand there because some kids poured water all over the floor. The staff knew about it, and I thought they cleaned it up, but, about an hour later (and the rink is completely dark, with black and strobe lights sometimes, and was when I fell in the water) I didn't try to sue them either btw. I just think its horrible. The walls are rusting, the tables are dirty, the floors are dirty, their skates are no good, broken, and crooked. The music is sometimes so loud it hurts your ears, and I like loud music, but, this is crazy loud. They even allow their young child/girl to be there, and she acts like a little spoiled brat, laying in the middle of the floor all the time. I bought a bag of chips there tonight, and the owner threw the change at me! I guess because I said please and thank you, they needed to show me how it is done there. The rink is old, and I don't believe it has ever been updated, or painted. A lot of the kids there are great, nice kids, but, then there is a bunch of kids there who like to fight, swear, all but "go all the way" right in front of the staff. No one says anything to them. Kids keep fighting behind the place. A lot of parents drop their kids off and leave, I would never do that, and I wouldn't suggest anyone do that. You would think that since their main demographics are children, they would try to be good role models, they are the complete opposite, and very bad choice of role models for kids. I don't even think they should have children of their own, I certainly hope they don't act like this at home, but, if they do, they have some serious issues. The only good thing is that its a place for kids to go, and be active. They need to clean up their acts, and their rink, and fast. read more
