OMGOSH. Amazing hidden gem in Oneonta, New york. Great little arcade and not-so-crappy prizes! love going! It's a must go!

We have revisited this rink after a very long interlude and WOW it's amazing! The staff are patient, knowledgeable and keep an unintrusive eye on their clients. That being said they are not babysitters and children who are not able to skate independently and safely need to be supervised. The skates are good, but don't hesitate to make them aware if the laces need to be tweaked or replaced. There are very few things for minors to do in any direction and for very long distances, but even if there were more choices this destination should top your list. It's affordable, a healthy way to spend a few hours and fun memories to be made. They also do a wonderful birthday party during open hours or schedule a private time. read more

This place made me feel like I was in a Forensic Files episode circa 1993 out of small town Iowa... and it was AWESOME! I think it was $8 per person to skate, not sure if that was time limited or not because you know I did NOT pay since there was no way I was getting out on the floor. Nope. I am too old and I fall HARD homie. Friends who were able to make it more than two rounds had a fabulous time, and I still rocked out watching everyone. People of all ages were on the floor enjoying themselves and I only wish I was skilled and not a klutz. I love going to Interskate 88 but me and my family and friends always leave with head aches because the music is always super super loud. my favorite things to do there is the skating rink and laser tag love the food and drinks especially the love potion drink. read more

This place doesn't look like much but it's so much fun! I'm currently a college student in Oneonta and skating here is one of my favorite things to do! The only thing that sucks is they play the SAME MUSIC EVERY TIME! I go here a lot but every time they have one playlist of music that isn't that great. Besides that, the food and drinks are good, the lazer tag is a must do! The laser tag is really so much fun for everyone! The staff is so nice too! This rink, Interskate 88 is awesome! I was there for the Red Barn Roller Rink Reunion (that rink defunct years ago) and I was there to interview and evaluate and I have my system and they got 9.1 out of 10 average. For here, that means 5 STARS! I literally have a pad and circled all things I have inspected and they have 10s, and 9s and an 8. Very friendly staff, Eric and his wife are co-operators and they are real nice and helpful when I asked questions. I read his lips well considering that I am Deaf. The floor is smooth although they are going to work on it. They use Roll-On 2000 finishing on the floor. I love the décor with Christmas lights above the rink. Not too flashing like other rinks do. This is more romantic and smooth. Comfortable. Well balanced light on and off rink to see. I also enjoy my time with people there. Got new carpet. They got a cute dance floor with lights on the floor. Yes, Starburst style on the dance floor! Looks new and modern rebuilt on the Pro-shop-rental-concession stand side. They have real nice laser tag that I had a personal tour to see and seen the arcade. Real loud games! Wow! And bright! I have tons of photographs on my website explaining about this place. I was recently there for a friends birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and the place was so overly packed it was impossible to walk. They had 12 birthday parties going on at the same on top of ppl here just regular skating separate from the parties. The staff was so unprofessional and very rude. The skates were so dirty and old , the laces would not longer tie they broke off. The food was so horrible the kids didn't even eat then pizza given. Interskate 88 - Amusement Parks Near Me - Oneonta, New York

A really nice place for families to spend an evening without breaking the bank. My parents met in a roller rink, still skate and so for their 40th anniversary, we rented Interskate for a private party. From accommodating my sister's artistic dalliances, to offering a very reasonable rate for the whole facility, the gang at Interskate were wonderful. Mom and Dad had a great time, we all got to skate to "our music", and there was plenty of room - our group of 75 could have just as easily been 300. The Nelson's have owned Interskate forever, and I've yet to go there when Fred, Donna or now Eric hasn't been in hand. Aaron and Paul are always hustling to help customers, and this is one of the few recreational venues I would ever consider dropping the kids off at - entirely because of the staff. These guys work very hard to keep this a family friendly establishment, and it really shows. While there are other regular sessions, we really like Friday nights. The kids can play the arcade, skate, or play in the gigantic jungle gym, and our family of four has a great time from 7-11 for under $30. This is the best value in family entertainment in the I-88 corridor, hands down. read more

Why did roller rinks go out of style?! This place was not very crowded, but we still had a great time. The guy who was in charge of the place was very welcoming. They have a nice lazer tag setup with two levels, and the roller rink is phenomenal. We went for free skate and there were only a few people on the rink. Nice music and good family fun. read more

Nice rink, smelly skates. Good price, cheap arcade games. Rude DJ who takes requests but completely disregards them and continues playing boring music from 20 years ago. Stale nachos sub par milk shakes. You get what you pay for I guess. read more

They are really slow with helping people and the djdoesn't play the songs you request but other whys it's really fun.
