I would not recommend Biltmore ENT on 32nd Street. We drove an hour for my child's scheduled audiology appointment, only to find out they did not even have an audiology provider in the clinic that day. Instead of calling us ahead of time to cancel, they waited until we arrived and tried to blame the cancellation on us being nine minutes late. I had already sent two portal messages saying we were on our way. The receptionist, Kenya, was rude and unprofessional, and kept shifting blame instead of taking responsibility for the office not having the provider in that we were scheduled to see. This was after they also failed to send in my child's prescription on time, even though the medication was supposed to be taken for 2 weeks before the appointment. Completely disorganized and disrespectful. We have been patients for 4 years, but after today disaster, we will NOT be going back. read more

We took our young son in for a nasal issues, deviated septum, and this office did nothing for him except to say it was a huge hole they could not do anything with, too large and dangerous. The doctor (Pearlstein) went on to talk about how good he was, even doing brain surgery before and scaring my son then leaving. We went to another doctor t the MAYO clinic and they said it was not large and wondered what the the other ENT was smoking. Now, Biltmore ENT wants my son, (no job, just graduate high school) to pay for the office visit ($213.90) when they did absolutely NOTHING. They already received payment form the insurance company but they now want him to may a $45.15 deductible, when he has no money and no job. Ridicules. Dr. Arya was very informative and caring, even performed a life changing surgery that helped me breathe better, but his staff is the worst of the worst. Went here a couple years ago to get assessed before a adenoid/tonsillectomy surgery. I hope he's gone, but I will never forget the doctor I saw. He was not only unprofessional and rude- but when he scoped my nose, into my throat, he literally ripped the scope out quickly. It hurt! It was so deliberate. When I instinctively reacted, he said, "oh you're fine". Don't know what his deal is, but I went to a different ENT after that. i have been having an ongoing nasal issue for months. Dr Pringle treated me well, did a procedure that temporarily helped. told me it might not take, which was common but it was common the 1st time. sadly, it didn't. I called back and was told Dr Pringle had left the practice a couple of months ago. Later, the issue came back. was sent to a new doctor, go to see Dr. nose high up in the air, Dr. Browne. What an insulting prick. told me I had a serious mental problem, and was faking my issue. walk out. His nose was high up in the air as I left, still figuratively and seriously up there, and he did tell me he was a surgeon. I had a really bad ear infection 7 years ago and had went to 4 ENT's and finally went to Dr Arya and he cleared my infection and I've been going to him ever since. I haven't even been able to schedule an appointment yet. I emailed, I tried the self schedule and both times I was told I had to call in, when I did call in I was 22nd in the que that tells you all about how you can use the self scheduler. I had also messaged in telling them they need to check on the referral, I never heard back on if they did it so I just took care of it myself. I'm rather unimpressed so hopefully if I am able to schedule an appointment the appointment goes better then this. Dr Taffet did a hard sell for a surgery (turbinate reduction) that I did not need. My symptoms were resolved with a short course of Flonase. He specifically said that Flonase would not work when I asked if I should try that before proceeding with surgery. If I had followed his recommendation I would have been subject to a procedure under general anesthesia, the recovery discomfort and medical bills that were not warranted. Additonally, Dr Taffet charged my insurance for "surgery" that was completed in my first and only office visit to diagnose my symptoms. As I was about to leave the office after he diagnosed my symptoms, he said there was one more quick thing he needed to do and that was looking at my sinuses again. It was not surgery - there was absolutely nothing done to me and I did not consent to surgery. Be warned about this doctor before getting any medical advice or treatment. read more

I have a 94-year old mother who has the onset of dementia and inner ear problems affecting her equilibrium. Her doctor gave us a referral to Biltmore ENT on Thursday, August 10. I called to make an appt on Friday, 8/11 and reached VM after waiting 6 minutes for someone to pick up. They said they would call back the same day if the call was made in the morning and the next day if it was in the afternoon. I left all the pertinent information with no response. I knew they wouldn't be open on the weekend, so I called Monday morning to schedule my mom's appt. Again, after 6 minutes - no answer. I had to leave my request for a call back on VM. No response Monday either. Tuesday 08/15 I called twice to schedule an appt. Once in the early morning, and another in the afternoon. Each time I waitied 6 minutes and was told to leave my contact information - no response. On 8/16, I finally went to the office. I asked the receptionist why no one was calling me back. She said they had a call center and they don't always return calls. I finally made the appt for my mother after I went in person, but the receptionist would not escalate my issue with a manager. On the way out, I was in the elevator with another patient who told me that the support staff was completely and totally inept, and said that he was never able to get a call back. When I went home, I tried to call the main office to speak to a manager. When I finally reached someone to tell them why I was calling, they just hung up on me. Not a disconnection - just an abrupt hang up. When I called back - you guessed it....voicemail. No one seems to care about anything but money. Health of patients is secondary. read more

Really disappointing experience. Was referred here by One Medical and am looking for alternative options. It took forever to schedule an appointment and they could care less about getting you in. The person on the phone is usually terse and I have to give my information every time even though I visited them for an exam. The lack of customer service and information throughout the process was concerning and the doctor seemed to be in a rush and spent less than 5 minutes on my examination. The front desk didn't schedule a surgery date and I spent 3 weeks on phone ping pong trying to schedule a date. (The long hold times didn't help) Overall, I say look for better options. I had no idea what to expect and they seemed in a rush to pass you along. They didn't go over anything to expect and prepare for in a surgery which doesn't really lead to a lot of patient trust. Biltmore ENT was recommended to me by my pediatrician. It was very easy to make an appointment over the phone. They were booked a few weeks out, but they were able to accommodate me before the holidays, which was what I needed. They have a very informative system that will send you texts reminding you about your appointment. Upon arrival, you will park in the major medical building parking lot and either take the stairs or the elevator up to the second floor, where they are located. The girl who checked us in was so, welcoming and nice to my son and I. It was recommended that we showed up early to fill out paperwork which we were only a few minutes early. Most of the information they already had in their system so it's just a matter of signing a few consent forms on an iPad. Nothing too crazy. The waiting room is rather small but it is definitely clean. I was able to meet with Dr. Kimberly Kocher. She was so kind and efficient. She was very thorough and listened to me. We were in and out in less than an hour. Overall, I'm so happy to know that we have a great ENT nearby. I will definitely be using them in the future. read more

Just got done with the most brutal medical experience of my life!, so I wanted to check with Yelp to see AM I THE ONLY ONE? But no,,more negative reviews than positive reviews,,,I want to check out some hearing aids,,when I made the appointment, I was told the very soonest appointment I could get was in Mesa and was told they have hearing aids at that office that they will put in my ear and I can see if they help me after driving one hour and 15 minutes to Mesa I was brought back to a room for a hearing test. I told them I just had a hearing test last month. I just want you to put some hearing aids in my ear to see if they help they said, like David Spade says, ain't gonna happen ...you have to take the test, then we give it to the doctor to evaluate your test, then we will make another appointment for you to come back so you can see the audiologist and then you can try out some hearing aids. I replied I am not driving back an hour and 15 minutes again I came here cause I was told you have hearing aids at this location that I could try out, would you please go get them and let's try them out,,,ain't gonna happen!,,,we've got protocols,,,well they may have protocols but they didn't let me try out any hearing aids. I just read all the negative reviews even though Blue Cross Blue Shield sent me here and they will pay my deductible on hearing aids. I won't set foot in this place ever again. read more

If my experience is any indicator, avoid this practice. I went as a first time patient yesterday, went to check in, and the girl behind the desk clearly had a very bad cold or the flu. When I mentioned to her that it was really not OK to be sick and deal with people in a doctors office, her response was, "I have to pay the bills."That in itself should have been enough to make me leave, but I stayed and was evaluated by a provider who ordered two tests. When I went again to the front desk to schedule the tests, I was given a date of 10 weeks out. Yes, I said 10 weeks. Despite my expressions of disbelief, dissatisfaction and just plain upset, the answer was take it or leave it. Clearly, my health was not a priority. Find a different ENT practice. Dr. Taffet wasted no time and articulated clearly what I should expect before, during, and after. I now have sinuses that facilitate normal (nose) breathing for the first time in decades. I thought the doctor was lovely but their billing and staff are horrible. Brought my one year old in for persistent ear infections and was told tubes were the next thing and the procedure was needed. Two days after my appointment someone called me and told me that they forgot to check my insurance before my visit and that it actually wasn't covered and i was a self pay person and owed way more than i should have paid because they forgot to verify. At the time I didn't have a card near me and I told them I would have to get the invoice to pay and she told me I was going to go to collections!! Honestly after all we have dealt with to get our little one year old feeling better and then to be treated like this. Worst staff ever. Now we have to start the process all over while our little guy suffers with these infections. read more

Was not impressed with the service received at Mesa office I was seeing them because my primary referred me to them for ongoing ear pain and per primary I did not have an ear infection thus sent me to ENT All NP Laura Olson did was look at both ears and stated no infection, so next steps were hearing test that would be out 6 to 8 weeks I asked how is a hearing test going to show what is causing my level 7 ear pain Comment was hearing test first then onto next steps Needless to say I requested another ENT referral I went to Trinity ENT in Gilbert and the first thing they did was a CTSCAN and are now helping me resolve my ear pain Still confused on having a hearing test before Biltmore could even start on finding what was causing my ear pain read more
