I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves one. I negotiated on a truck with this dealership and was very clear about my conditions: if they weren't going to move on price, I wanted new tires and brakes included. The salesman agreed--multiple times--that the tires would be replaced. Based on that, my wife and I took time off work and waited a couple of days while the truck supposedly went through their shop. The moment I arrived, I could tell something was off. The truck still had the same worn tires on it. When I asked about it and requested the service invoice, I was told they decided not to replace the tires because they had "less than 50% wear." That's not what we agreed to. What makes it worse is that they had days--and even a phone call right before I came in--to be upfront about this change. Instead, they waited until I was there, after I had already rearranged my schedule, to tell me they weren't honoring what was discussed. That's not a misunderstanding--that's poor communication at best and misleading at worst. I left feeling like I had just been dragged into a bad deal, and it completely killed any trust I had in this place. Based on my experience, the negative reviews here don't surprise me at all. If you're considering buying from here, get everything in writing and don't assume verbal agreements will be honored. read more

I took my 2010 Supercharged 2010 Challenger R/T for timing chain recall. It took 3 months to get an appointment, car sat outside for 3 weeks before the work was done, covered in snow. In other words, a month for a 4 hour job, according to recall notice. Then George called and wanted $880 because they had to do additional work because of the blower. I paid them almost $300. After the car was brought home I put it back in the garage. Days later I noticed a dent in the corner of my hood. and a few paint chips. It looks like the hood was shut down while something was under the hood, like a TOOL,maybe? Several frustrating phone calls later, George said he'd check their pictures. It's been a month today. Beware!!! Never take your vehicle to Binghamton Dodge!! My Hellcat was Damaged in their care and they tried to hide it. It was there for a warranty repair . Without my permission, they had some hack paint the bumper cover the wrong color. The paint had dirt in it and the car had over spay all over it. The chin spoiler and the grill had buffing marks in the contoured panels . The service manager, when confronted, got in my wife's face and screamed at her "prove it" "sue us". The state police had to be called and reports taken. After an investigation from the DMV they paid for the damages to make my car right. ($3200)Now I will see them in small claims for the 4 months it took to get restitution! The service manager is more than incompetent, he was dumb. The general manager wouldn't show her face. Come to find out that they are brother and sister. No accountability for what he had done. I previously bought two different Jeep trucks from this company. I woundnt give them another penny! Don't let Customer Service be a thing of the past. read more

Guys are all friendly but we don't think they check their vehicles before they sell them. Bought one truck and within 3 days had big issues...had to trade that one for another truck that again within a couple of days had issues! So in essence bought two trucks within 16 days and both had issues so, we didn't have A truck for almost two weeks! Not our first rodeo, we are both retired and have bought vehicles before, although not at this dealership. Won't be returning to them or suggesting them to anyone. Again nice guys but not impressed. Especially for the cost of a truck these days! They didn't even to make it worth our while to buy a truck and be without it for 16 days...not even a tank of gas for our troubles! read more

TERRIBLE!!! Set up appointment over 3 weeks in advance to fix a recall on my vehicle, gave all pertinent information during the call including the VIN#. I take a day off work and 35 min drive down there then they tell me they don't have the part, can't get the part today and they're only going to do an 'inspection' of the vehicle and I'll have to come back for the actual repair. They never once mentioned during the call that they were only going to do an inspection and the repair would actually be done at another time. In other words they screwed up and forgot to order the part or it didn't come in yet and they failed to notify me and reschedule the repair. Then while I was having a very polite and productive conversation with the service personnel some idiot tech who wasn't even part of the conversation chimes in with a nasty raised tone of voice, what an asshat, I guess he was trying to be a tough guy in front of the service girls. read more

I'm from Oneonta which is about an hour drive to this dealership. I wondered the lot for 20 minutes yesterday and no one came to help me. Part of my time on the lot was right in front of the building where the Wrangler 4xe's are. No wonder Stellantis is in trouble. The lot is full of vehicles but no one wants to sell them. I am purchasing a new car by the end of this week and it will not be from this dealership. Someone should get ahold of customer relations at Stellantis explain why the dealers aren't selling Chrysler, Jeep, or Ram vehicles. read more

The issue is with Service. On 2/17/2022 I was called by service and told that the all of the parts were finally in. I originally contacted service concerning the issue on the day after Thanksgiving. It took until now for service to look the truck, determine the required part and receive it. Now that the part is in the earliest service date they would schedule is 3/29. 6 weeks is beyond unacceptable to make a service appointment. I asked why and they said part availability is the issue. I asked how could that be an issue since you called to tell me that the parts were in. There was no answer to this. If I were to do it again I would not bother looking at vehicles at this dealership due to service. Due to parts availability I am not sure if I would consider RAM again. read more

We purchased a left over 2018 ram 2500 hundred in 2019. Within the first 19,000 miles the first transmission went leaving us stranded out of state. We waited over a month for a re-maned transmission. That failed by 26,000 miles. Our truck has been sitting at the dealership since June. We've called Chrysler care numerous times no return calls. We've went to the dealership for help with no results. The sales manager was obnoxious and said they couldn't help but he'd have the general manager contact us. That was over a week ago. Nys deems this a lemon law suit. We're so beyond frustrated. Just be advised do your research before you purchase from either of these companies. This was a new vehicle with full warranty! So glad we bought a brand new truck read more

Greeted by a sales person promptly, explained what we wanted. Go inside to talk "numbers " before we even looked at cars? Then I'm assuming it was a manager comes over with major attitude! Says to us, loudly, I'm not going to "dump" 10 grand into your trade in! So I gave him some attitude back and he changed his tune a bit. Then he and the sales person go to "pick" the vehicle they want to sell us and we left. They had my phone number and didn't even try to call!! Been to this place multiple times since I live in town. Went to look at wranglers there a year ago and no one helpped me. Im a small female and had my heart dead set on buying a wrangler so they missed out. I ended up going to Owego and bought one there. Second time was for paint. I went to pick it up the man was so rude. My wrangler is a tonka yellow and the paint was orange. I tried to tell him this and he rudely said to me that it was the vin I gave him and it's going to match. Well it didn't and when he came to look himself thinking I didn't know what vin number I was giving him he quickly change his attitude to just semi rude. He ordered me a new one and didn't say much to me the whole time after. That was a year ago. Third time I had to get a cylinder head changed and they said it would be a couple days and told me that they do not give loaner cars out. I arranged for rides for a couple days. It is now Friday. The "couple days" and car is still not done and it's going to be the weekend. I ask again if there are loaner cars and this person said he's not sure if they have any left. So they do give loaner cars? Either way this is the worst dealership I ever experienced. I'll drive out of town next time because it's not even worth my time or money. At least at Royal in Owego there was someone right there to welcome you. Andnthey even let me test ride the wrangler I bought overnight. read more

You go in and work a deal and then they come back with a different offer by which they want you to put down more money and its not even the vehicle you originally picked out .. Stay away , go elsewhere like Simmons Rockwell they will give you the best deal upfront and stick to their word no hassle just straight up honest deals .. read more

After purchasing two vehicles at the same time, because we had purchased trailer hitches as well, we were refused delivery on the vehicles until the parts arrived, and were installed. This took 2.5 weeks! Another week passed before we received a phone call stating they were available for pick up. We scheduled our appointment, (took time off from work..losing pay) to find the dealer to be closed. No call or text cancelling the appointment. After a second attempt to pick up, were told he could not meet, do to "having plans". After a month, and STILL no vehicles, we requested our money back. A week later and still no refund, nothing but a run around, we have filed a complaint with the BBB. Other dealerships within an hour away know of the misdealings of these guys. Do yourself a favor, and shop elsewhere. read more
