A very below average burger…read more We came in on a Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't very busy. It's actually a very cute and trendy place. Also very clean with lots of seating. We ordered a Steel City burger, a Boilermaker, a kid's cheeseburger, and a kid's mini chicken. Everything came out hot and freshly made, but it lacked a lot. The buns were burnt and the burger patty was a little dry. We did enjoy the sauces that came with the burger. But it was still very plain. No veggie toppings like lettuce, tomato, or onion. So the burger seemed very bland because it was just meat and bread. My kids also had a hard time enjoying their meals. The chicken burger was very dry and tasteless. I also checked in on the Yelp app, which gave me a free side of fries reward for checking in. When I went to claim the reward, the person at the register said they don't honor any rewards on Yelp and that they had nothing to do with it. I'm not sure if I'd return. The prices are comparable to other burger places in the area, but the quality isn't what I expected.

Unfortunately, that never happened. We stood at the bar for about 10 minutes waiting to get change for the arcade games and to start a tab. There were several other customers already in the bar who had been served, but despite waiting patiently, no one ever acknowledged or even greeted us. After waiting without any interaction, we decided to leave. We never got the chance to try the drinks or play any games because the lack of service sent us elsewhere. Maybe it was just an off night, but first impressions matter, and unfortunately, this one missed the mark.

For me, I took the toddlers here and they all enjoyed it (after getting over an initial fear of the clown rides). I saw coin operated rides that I went on in the 1990s (like the rocket ship). There are gift shops here, a prize area to trade in your tickets, ice cream shop, skee ball, and much more. There's also a fountain where you can try the natural spring water. The bad: There were some machines/rides that were out of order. There was a small horse that took our coins and didn't spit them back out. The interesting: It has been around since the 1930s. I am so surprised this place hasn't been used for a film.
