This is definitely not Costco. Lots of choices with every kind of beer you can think of. Okay humidor but for a liquor store is the best you can expect. If you have a question there is always someone there to help. read more

I go to this Binny's all the time because it is close and they have a good selection but the customer service leaves a TON to be desired. First there are the accusatory looks I get every single time I buy anything here. I look young, and obviously I am going to get carded, but I don't need to be stared up and down then get carded with that power trip-esque/ mall cop/ bad attitude. I am an adult typically buying a 6er of craft beer or a bottle or two of good red wine- I am not some 15 year old punk buying a 3 gallons of Popov with my brother's ID- so don't treat me like that. One lady even called the manager over to check my ID with her typical bad attitude then even after he laughed and said "what's the problem? there is nothing wrong with this ID" she had an even worse attitude after being chastised a bit by him and proceeded to take it out on me with a few snide comments. Another lady had a similar bad attitude when I was buying a lemon- literally nothing but 1 lemon. Carding someone for a lemon is bad enough, but treating them like a cop treats a criminal while doing it is just beyond belief. Then there is the Binny's card attitude others have spoken of- If I don't have mine with me for some reason I just tell them I don't have one and don't have them look it up because the attitude I get just isn't worth it. Not to mention their computer system has some sort of bizarre way of looking it up that seems to make it impossible. All in all I really just don't get why the cashiers have such horrible attitudes because the people working the wine/beer sections are very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I think the problem is this particular Binny's has a really hardcore policy of carding which is fine- but somehow that has translated into power tripping cashiers with bad attitudes drunk on this sense of power. read more

I have a less than 2 week old baby and my husband promised we'd bring a case of wine to a party! I called Binny's; Shellie suggested bottles based upon my taste and budget, packed the mixed case, and came to the car to deliver the wine and ring me up. I couldn't have asked for better service and this tired mama appreciated her going the extra mile! read more

Great concept and deep selection of liquor and wine for sure. But the most single most least friendliest workers in the liquor business nationwide at this store. Never a hello, not great assistance to help you find wine, not very friendly at the registers and a rude huskily built manager walking around with a look on his face that you're lucky you're allowed to buy from this store. More than that I would still come here for a matter of convenience as its very close to my home but I decided to take my business elsewhere as their are better options. Prestige Liquors are very friendly, similar pricing and " sell mixers / Club Soda etc.. " for less than triple retail. Binny's completely misses the mark on mixers / club soda and they severely overcharge for this - which I've heard from others that live around here keeps them from shopping here as well. Mariano's which just opened up in Westmont has a full service bar to taste wine and cheese, etc. and has a great wine and liquor selection as well - and cheap mixers (Pierre, Club Soda, etc...). Sorry Binny's all you need is more lower prices nixer options and a few smiles - until then you lost my business and from what I hear - others as well ! read more

Gave him my drink recipes and he walked through the store until we finished our list! Top service and we were in and out with all the supplies we needed! Hello Doug ! A few weeks ago you took a nice group of customers on a two-day tour of custom breweries in Michigan. From what I saw, the trip was a huge success. Both you and your people were very happy and all had a good time. Thank you for helping to clean up the trash in my bus. That really helped me get home a little earlier. Who am I ? Your bus driver, that's who. You wanted to give me a gratuity on your credit card but I was forced to explain to you that my employer does not accept driver gratuities on credit because it makes them pay up to 15% additional in taxes. You offered to mail a check to me for which I would be grateful, if it ever came ! I stopped by the store but you were out. I again left my name and address but still nothing from you. I know you are a very busy man and it may not seem like much to you but it does to me. In reading the reviews, it appears there are others having trouble getting a response from your facility. Why would I think you were a man of your word? There would be no problem upgrading this review to five stars if I got an answer or have you decided that I don't deserve anything? read more
