They were quick and efficient but that's about it. There were two guys, one knocked at my front door while the other guy took it upon himself to open my back gate to my porch, when I saw him I had to yell through the door to go back outside the gate so I can put my dogs in the backyard away from them because they are protective. The fact that he opened the gate really rubbed me wrong, especially considering the fact that another guy was at my front door and I was already on my way to open it for him. And to top it all off, I was home alone with my kids. They were rude and made it a little uncomfortable. read more

Binwangers Glass Co. I Know you all are wanting to hear how my window turned out!! In a earlier blog I let you know that someone had smashed my passenger driver side window. Now nothing was taken, so that's a good thing. I chose to replace my windshield that had several cracks in it, YEAH REALLY EMBERICING to take on a showing of a house.... So it had to be replaced at some point. Well the set back was less than $300 for both windows looks amazing and I'm completely happy with the work and the price. With that said I don't want to go to Binwangers Glass Co. again. STOP SMASHING MY FREAKING WINDOWS!!! read more

I contacted this company for services, best decision ever. Customer service from appointment scheduling to completion of installment was most definitely the most professional experience I've had in a really long time. Lisa text'd me she was too busy to provide an updated quote, and she would have a Vanessa W. send a revised quote. When the quote was received, it was a quote for white, not black, windows, and not all windows were included. So I started calling, emailing and texting; I'd either get no response or a long, drawn-out text message about her health/family issues. This is not the way to gain or retain a customer base. I would get a second or 3rd opinion from another plumber or verify with a friend or contractor who…read moreknows something about plumbing. My sewage line wasn't draining properly so I got bid from them. They used a camera (sophisticated) to explore the sewage line, which was about 60 ft from the fence line/alley. Guy said that it was old clay pipe that needed to be replaced for $7000. And they would have to replace it all the way to the city main, which would make Abilene the only city that allows anyone to work on their city mains. So just to check on what the city had which I figured was upgraded to pvc (it was) I dug down to the sewer line at the edge of the property. So I started digging down to the sewer line a couple of other places just to verify what the plumber claimed. It ended up only being clay about 10 ft on my property from the city's line. So if the guy had been honest and not tried to grossly exaggerated or pad the estimate he would have said replace the 10 feet of clay because he couldn't have missed it with the camera that he ran from the trap next to my house down toward the fence line. This is probably a common way that unscrupulous plumbers line their pockets. It took a day to dig up that 10 ft of clay and replace w pvc. Cost $89 for supplies. What a profit margin. The sad thing or maybe part of the scam was the fish (Christian) symbol on his truck.

i work for a local hotel and we have used binswanger for years when a customer breaks a window, we call and order it and it is ready the next day. well, today someone told me to call city lumber, got the same size glass for less than 1/2 the price and got it within 20 minutes, mccoy's lumber was also mentioned i called for price they are 1/2 the price of binswanger. sometimes i guess the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. binswanger does a great job just way more expensive and time consuming. read more

I will not EVER use this company nor anyone associated with it. I shop and spend my money in the community where I find good service and all around friendly people. This company stands for something I could never side with and it is that people are not an asset to this world or community!
