Been trying to resolve disputed charge that BioData staff had committed to resolving more than a year ago (from November 2012)!!. Creditors have been calling for a year and my credit score is being affected by BioData's lack of professionalism. The place was somewhat busy when my wife and I walked in with our two year old son but Diego asked us to please sign in and asked us to be patient since he was the only one taking care of everything. My 2 year old needed to have his blood drawn and the lab we went to before this one couldn't draw his blood and the phlebotomist was somewhat impatient and authoritative. Diego was great with my son. He explained everything to us, was very calm and professional. He got my son's vein on the very first try despite the squirming and screaming coming from my son. All in all a great experience for something that could have been another traumatic experience for my son (and us) read more

If I could rate this lab zero stars I would! They reported false positives on my daughter's lupus panel and continued to pursue me and harass me for payment even after I sent my daughter's test results from Labcorp that showed her to be negative for all of the lupus panel tests. not to mention the fact that we went though extreme stress and incurred extra expenses for my daughter to see a rheumatologist and have repeat blood work with a reputable lab! Sarah is the best! I've been coming here for many years for my annual blood work. The past couple years Sarah has drawn my blood and I can honestly say I don't feel a thing when she sticks me. I don't know how she does it. I think she might have magic fingers. I couldn't give five stars because I have had a couple problems actually getting the results sent to my doctor. If you're afraid of needles, call and ask when Sarah is in. You'll be amazed how good she is. read more

First off, I'd like to say that I wish I came here first instead of the Chino location. (Review for that location to follow. My sister came with me to bring my son (1.5 years old to get blood work done. I have been putting it off since he was traumatized at the Chino location. Needless to say, I was very nervous. The day before, I called to see if they close for lunch and if they have someone who is great with toddlers. To my luck, they're open during lunch and have 2 people who are great with toddlers. We went on Wednesday, the 29th, in afternoon a day were greeted by Diego. I told him about our experience at the Chino location. After a few minutes and quick paperwork, we went to the back. I had my son sit on my sisters lap because she's an apheresis nurse and she is more calm than I am. My son already start crying. She held him and I held down the arm that Diego drew blood from. He did it very quickly and it was such a relief. Even though my son was still crying, he was able to get the one vial he needed that the lady couldn't do at the Chino location. Diego, thank you very much for being great with my son. I'll definitely be back to see you if he needs more lab work done in the future. I can't thank you enough! read more

Their billing Dept is the WORST. I have been on hold trying to pay my bill for the last 38 minutes and the system keeps on saying I am the first in-line. ARE YOU KIDDING me. How is that possible for the last 20+ minutes I am first in line. Come on. This is a joke. I never received a bill from them, then a couple of weeks ago I receive a call asking me to pay for a bill. I did not recognize their name at the time and asked them to send me a bill. The only option to pay it is via phone of I am being threatened to the bill will go to collections. We have jobs to and we cannot be on the phone for this long just waiting to pay a stupid bill. My doctor refereed me to them and I will never go back to them again. ever. It is now over 43 minutes and I am still waiting. What a joke. read more

Mary from billing promised to send me a written list (statement) of all my lab work accounts. This was Feb 6th 2013.. It never came. I called again today 2/20/13 and was treated as if I were crazy for asking for anything. Mary was nice, but this lady was condescending like I was wasting her time. I was put on hold for 15 minutes... and when she came back she just started talking B.S. telling me that they cannot give me any answer. I asked point blank "Are you going to give me in writing my accounts what I have been billed & what I have paid"? She became flippant and said "Don't put words in my mouth!" I said "I'm not, I'm asking you a yes or no question. Yes or no, will you give me what I've been billed and what I've been paid IN WRITING? Because I get the run-around every time I call - Bio Data cannot email or fax me. That my statement is in the mail. I have overpaid my deductibles and need to sort things with my insurance and this COLLECTION AGENCY YOU SENT AFTER ME WRONGFULLY & REPORTED TO MY CREDIT. So answer me now - yes or no, YES OR NO? Its that easy!" and with attitude she aswers "Well before I can even answer that question I would have to do... ". Is it not my right as a consumer to have a statement of what you billed me and when you took my money? and have a chance to check everything with my E.O.B's and insurance and bank account? read more

They almost killed my baby!!! This laboratory is the worst!!! During my pregnancy I had twice blood samples checked with them and both times they came back with the wrong test results!! If you are pregnant and your doctor is sending your blood to this company, please advice him to send it somewhere else!! I am Rh-negative and I had antibodies which caused my baby to be born with severe hemolytic disease and almost died inside my belly! Both times this company did not detect any antibodies in my blood which is simple false and wrong!!! Don't trust this company!! It could cost lives!! read more

My wife was referred to here by our obstetrician for lab work related to her pregnancy. A year and a half later we received a collection call from them for $144.00. Never did we get a bill nor ever get a telephone call from the office's billing department regarding this particular claim. Because the claim was so old, I had to pay 166.00 to the collections department. When I attempted to ask questions to the internal billing department, the gail was continued to interrupt me as I proceeded to ask questions. Over the course of the pregnancy, we visited this laboratory several times, never once was my wife asked about this outstanding claim. I am very disappointed. Why one star, Yelp? I don't even want to give them that! This lab not only lost my labs, but the labs of every patient at the medical group I go to for my healthcare. It's been a month and nobody can give me the results nor get a hold of anybody from this lab. Visits to the site of the blood draw and numerous phone calls all turn up with nothing. Both myself and my doctor's office have been trying, to no avail. I am a very ill person and my lab results are crucial to my treatment. My medicine dosage is dependent on knowing my levels. The office I go to treats metabolic disorders, so there are many other people waiting to know what's going on. I went to the Moreno Valley lab. It looked dirty and disorganized. The woman taking my blood bruised me pretty badly, and my arm hurt for two days after. Sadly, this is the only lab that my insurance covers through the region/hospital I have to go to. Looks like I will be paying out of pocket for a different lab. I don't ever trust going back there again as they are highly incompetent. EDIT: Even worse one I got my results... two months later! They took EIGHT vials of blood... and didn't even do the right tests that were marked on the lab slip! I didn't get results for three of the vital tests that I need! It's like they picked and blindly chose just a few tests. The only reason, I feel, that I got my lab results is because I opened a case against them with my insurance company. They also LIED to them-- twice-- that they sent both me and my doctor the results. We never received them! They had to open a second investigation before any action was taken on Biodata's part. Horrible, not a way to run a business, especially if you are dealing with potentially sick people! read more

If I had a choice I would never do business here. My doctor's office is contracted with them to process lab work. They have been improperly billing me for years despite multiple phone calls from me, my insurance company, and my doctor. I am 100% sure my insurance info is correct. When they do bother to submit a claim to my insurance the claims are incomplete. You had 8 tests? We'll submit for 3 and bill you for the rest! I get nasty phone calls demanding payment that I can see has already been made by my insurance company or has been previously addressed by my insurance as being erroneous and not corrected. When I explain the situation I get huffy responses. Incredibly unprofessional service calls, improper billing that borders on con artistry, if you have a choice, go elsewhere. If you don't have a choice, ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR BILL. read more

Been here twice. Once with my 3 year old son and again with my mom. Both times there was zero wait and the staff was super friendly and so nice!! I went out of my way to go the second time because I had a great experience the 1st time. I should've gotten some of the girls names but they were all wonderful!! Especially with my 3 year old! I am very disappointed with this company. For years I have been going and paid the day of the tests in cash, so there has been no problems until August 2014. I went in to have theme do some thyroid tests. I normally pay cash at the time of the tests, but the regular girl was not there so another nurse took my blood but would not take my money, but said I would be sent a bill. Waited a month, no bill, called, said they would take care of it. No bill. Now in November I get a STATEMENT NOT A BILL. The city they have on the STATEMENT is wrong and the amounts are almost 3x (for a $17.80 test, they charged me $53.00) the amount I pay when I on the day go for the blood to be drawn. I am not impressed with the way they do business. It will be interesting to see what they say tomorrow when I call. read more

No receptionist room full of people, they lost my lab results. My doctors staff made several attempts to get the report, I called they had it under the wrong dob, said they were faxing the report right then, doc didn't get it, I called again said she would fax it a different way (?). read more

I am so frustrated by this lab. Every time we go for a lab for our son we end up having to go back to repeat the lab. We went to the one in Upland and the phlebotomist did a blood draw and couldn't find my son's vein. So instead of pulling out and trying the other side she wiggled the needle around under his skin which was painful. He was only 7 and started to say "ouch ouch ouch," while trying hard not to cry. All the color left his face and he threw up in the trash can. Instead of apologizing the phlebotomist blamed my son! It was absolutely ludicrous. On top of it, the hours say they are open until 5:00 but they're really not. They take their last patient at 4:30, so know that if you're leaving work early to get a blood draw because you may get to the lab and have completely wasted your time. Unfortunately, this is the only lab our insurance covers, but rest assured that after our year of awful experiences here, I will be writing a letter to my insurance company telling them how awful it is. Even my doctor hates this lab and wishes we could go elsewhere because they have nothing but problems getting the lab results in a timely manner. Often they will send back incomplete results or the nurse has to call multiple times to track down where they are. It's ridiculous. I hope my insurance company will consider covering another lab. read more

My wife's doctor sent her blood work to Biodata Laboratories for testing. We received the results but their billing methods are criminal. Our insurance paid for the test directly to Biodata Laboratories a month after the test. A month later we received a bill from Biodata Laboratories for the full amount saying that our insurance company could not identify my wife as a a covered member. The icing on the cake was that if we immediately paid the full amount we would receive a 20% discount. What a scam. They are now up to 10 one star reviews. read more

Worked at this laboratory in the past and the payroll department Chris is very incompetent. Always making mistakes with payroll , then blames other. She never returns calls to resolve the payroll issues and if anyone ever encounters issues like listed above contact the labor commission. There have been complaints filed against them. Please monitor your bills from this laboratory closely. read more
