When I asked about this policy change and what did the age of my bike have to do with changing my tire, I was informed that they did not want to search eBay for parts on older bikes. This is ridiculous logic for a 12-year old, 50,000 mile GoldWing, where I can directly order OEM parts from Honda myself. After much arguing I was given a "one-time" approval by the service manager to have my tire replaced. I have been a loyal customer at this shop since I moved to Florida many years ago; however, their lack of logical customer service has caused this customer to never return.
