Fair prices, honest work, and a constant stream of cars coming in and out. People didn't just go there because it was convenient, they went there because they knew they wouldn't get taken advantage of. Senior citizens trusted Vaughn, including my mother, because they knew he would never rip them off or steer them wrong. Vaughn, to me, will always be one of the kindest, most decent men I've ever known. He took care of my mother and her cars for over 20 years. I remember calling from California to check on her, and every single time, she was getting solid advice, fair pricing, and real care when it came to her car. That kind of consistency is rare. I will never forget how well he and his team treated her. Fast forward to today. Vaughn passed away a few years ago, and his loss was deeply felt in this community. With him, it feels like the heart of that shop went too. The business is now run by Jimmy and his daughter. And the difference is noticeable. Where there used to be a steady flow of customers and cars waiting to be serviced, now the lot is often empty. The only minor critiques are that they send you a link to an app to check status of car, but no one updates it so it is not helpful. My car was delayed for a few days and over the week, but I was able to work around it because I work from home and use ride share services. I wasn't thrilled the last day as they called me in the am to say that the car was ready and being detailed. I waited all day and no call. Finally at 4:00 I just headed over as I was running out of time to Uber there. It took them a while to get the paperwork and key found, but the car was out front ready to go. Sketchiest place I've ever met , thank god for my son in law to still be alive with the…read moreunprofessionalism within this establishment. owner claimed to be just the manager then hung up to just call back and apologize and state that he was actually the owner and he does that to avoid telemarketers. This owner then admitted that the worker over filled the oil reservoir but they could do nothing about it and tried to blame it on the fact that it was recently rebuilt even though it had been rebuilt for 6+ months with 0 issues other than an oil light coming on. They tried to misquote him 70$ for a part then declined to inform him the part was actually 250 and tried to still order it without his consent or knowledge . They told him it would be done within a week or less and it ended up being 3 weeks all for a 300$ "fix" to do nothing but total the bike entirely. again thankfully nobody was behind him , riding his bumper , or even on a turnpike . It's sad that the owner only cares about making himself look good and not actually care about the risk involved with working on these motor vehicles. If you don't have common sense that over filling the oil causing it to go in places it doesn't belong in 30 degree weather where the viscosity is more thicker than you should not be owning anything involving fixing vehicles. learn to take ownership before you cost someone their life over sloppy work and unprofessional management
