I do not like needles and they make me comfortable enough throughout the entire process that the needle stick and donation process is comfortable. The snack offerings afterward are great, and today, while doing the platelet donation, they even offered freshly backed cookies! A few days after my donations I can login to my account and see my cholesterol and A1c numbers...great for when you're in between lab work with your doctor. They even text me when my donation is on the way to a hospital to help someone! If you are able, please give blood to help those who need it. Be a hero!

You have to communicate through staff members, sending messages back and forth. What you end up with is a what should be a 2 minute conversation dragging out for 5 days! (4) If you need pre-authorization for an Rx: They expect the patient to contact the insurance company, get all the forms and information for them, then wait 3-4 weeks for an appointment to get it filled out! I am so outta here -- These people are lazy and do everything they can to avoid working or helping you. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

After relocating to Gainesville a few years ago I decided it was time to establish care with a…read morefamily physician. I scheduled an appointment with this practice because it was close to my home and I figured since they were affiliated with UF it would be good. To start off, it took about three weeks for an open appointment. They told me to arrive about 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork on the day of my appointment. My appointment time was the first one of the morning, but following instructions, I arrived early. I went to open the door and it was locked. No one was there. I waited for 15 minutes and someone finally came to open the door. What was the point of telling me to come early if they keep the door locked until the minute they officially open?! So I fill out my paperwork and wait and wait..and wait a little more. Shocking since I was the first appointment of the day. I'm finally in an exam room, the nurse takes my vitals and then I wait for the doctor. I had a couple things I wanted to discuss since I had not visited a family physician for a while. The doctor comes in and we start talking about my questions/concerns. She stops me and says "One thing at a time, we can't cover everything today". I absolutely did NOT have a lengthy list or anything major to discuss! Talking a few minutes longer she is almost positive that I'm pregnant and wants me to do a urine test. I knew there was absolutely no way I was pregnant, but I said whatever and peed in a cup. Guess what, I wasn't pregnant. After 15 minutes of accomplishing nothing, she orders a bunch of labs, which I was sent to Quest to have done a few days later. Here is where things get crazy. I received a voicemail from the nurse rattling off the results of my labs in technical terms. At the end of the voicemail she says I am being referred to UF Hematology/Oncology and they will be calling me to schedule an appointment! I am not a medical professional, so I had no idea what the results she rattled off meant and I was terrified to hear that I was being referred to an oncologist (doctor specializing in cancer). That is not something you leave on a voicemail message. I quickly call the office and ask to speak to the doctor. They would not let me speak to the doctor, but had the nurse call me back. She went a little more in depth about the results, but I still didn't really understand what the heck was going on. Hematology/Oncology called and the first appointment was a month out, which I was freaking out about. I needed answers. I called UF physicians to schedule a follow up visit so I could ask her to re test everything in the meantime just to make sure there wasn't a mistake. Her response was no and that hematology would run their own tests at my upcoming visit. I thought this was absurd, just order another round of labs to confirm the results. For one month I was extremely stressed out and terrified that I had something seriously wrong. When I finally went to my appointment with the specialist, it turned out to be a lab error. All of my stress and anxiety could have been prevented if the doctor would have re tested like I had requested. Avoid this practice like the plague.

After years of misdiagnosis for…read moremy fungal infection on my toe she examined, tested and correctly diagnosed and treated my toe. What a relief after years of misdiagnoses from other less qualified podiatrists. I was seen quickly. I was not pushed with pricey solutions and the follow up has been impeccable. She is a master diagnostician and has great knowledge and care. She took time to explain and educate me in addition to finally getting this lingering toe fungus to go away. I would highly recommend Dr Teller for your podiatry care. Rare to find such great care attention to detail great communication with patients and results! The team is A plus.

There is no excuse…read morefor being seen by the provider, informed of the need of a prescription, the prescription can only be called to a specific pharmacy, then 4 weeks of no prescription. Front staff, namely Tracy, has no follow up, never calls the pharmacy, tells you the doctor has a family emergency with no end date in sight, and when you follow up after a month of grace, you are met with disrespect and a front desk staff who has no idea what is going on. Save yourself the headache & find another podiatrist that cares about your time, patience, and energy. I came back to add that the DR is also rude. I followed up and showed up to the office for an update on a prescription from 5/20/2026 (it is 7/15/2026) and it is STILL not ready. We arrived at the conclusion that this is clearing not important to do so we requested a copy of our records to go elsewhere and was told 'that's not how that works" and refused to give us a copy of our chart! Is this America?
