I don't like the BioLife Plasma Service in Cordova Tennessee. They works are rude and every time I make appointment they won't see me. I drove along way to come here to give plasma more than one time it's the same thing every time they turn me away before ever seeing me. I like Mississippi blood Service better because they are really nice and they always see me I go there. read more

initially i preferred this location to donate plasma at but after 2 donations i was advised to retake a protein test which involved a blood sample. i was stuck in my left arm (never have had issues with it) but no blood would come out, i was then stuck in my right arm which was slightly uncomfortable and left a bruise afterwards for the first time ever.. i've never even had bruises after plenty of plasma donations. whether you donate plasma or have to have a blood sample taken for a protein test do NOT let maddie stick you! this was a ridiculous waste of my time she told me i could come back the next day but i didn't because the whole process was really inconvenient tbh read more

Went to donate blood following an hour and ten minute drive. Was advised that I needed to eat a full meal high in protein inside of 2hrs of the appointment. I had eaten a meal high in protein 3.5hrs prior in addition to 3 servings of fruit 1.5hrs prior. I'm was refused. There are no instructions that were made available at the clinic nor any mention of a high protein requirement inside of 2hrs. Was told by the nurse that it didn't matter what instructions were given as it is at the nurses discretion whether to accept anyone or not. Very poor customer service. No instructions available outside of what was sent electronically and those instructions don't match anything being said in the clinic. Very poor quality care. Recommend to avoid. read more

If you're black and you're from the inner city of Memphis don't waste your time and gas money. If your zip code is in a majority black area you are discouraged from donating. There are a certain percentage of blacks that can afford to live in the predominantly white area where BioLife is located so they must tolerate these donors because the tactics used by management to discourage inner city blacks from donating are centered around finding technicalities that justify suspending donations without notice so that massive amounts of time and gas are wasted as you are forced to drive a 40+ mile round trip just to be told something that a phone call or an email or a text could have expressed. These tactics are designed to promote White Supremacy by relegating inner city blacks to the lower quality services and much lower pay provided by plasma donation centers in the inner city. They seek to preserve better services for the more affluent whites in that area by subjecting black donors to subterfuge intended to make their trip to BioLife an almost guaranteed waste of time and money. My first initial donation along with my physical and questions went pretty good after that when I try to come back a couple of times to continue the process, it was a disaster. They had all type of technical problems and the staff was very rude and unprofessional and treated me like I was a child. Went down to donate twice and was turned away. First day they didn't like that I had eaten 3 hours prior instead of 2 hours prior. Today I walked in feeling well and wanted to have a wonderful day. I walked in took temperature, kiosk, weight , and vitals. When I was in line to do my vitals I asked for a manager. I spoke about the past few times of me just getting 20dollars for those times. I wrote everything you need to know about that on the attached file. I said today that I don't lie, cheat, or steal. I'm a disabled combat veteran with ptsd. Myself and nurses has always talked about me having ptsd and everything was fine. I gave plasma and another 20 dollars was put into my card. I was just wowed. When I was walking out the female manager with short hair called me to her office. She stated to me I have never told anyone about my ptsd from combat. That is not true. Several employees know that. The kiosk asks have you been diagnosed with ptsd within six weeks I believe that is the time frame. I always put no because I have been diagnosed for 8 years now. She told me since I have ptsd and didn't confront anyone that I will be deferred permanently. I said once again. Are you telling me that I can't donate plasma because of my condition fighting for our people, our flag, our country, and several horrific things I've seen in combat. My ptsd is not aggressive as she said I started being with her and I stated nicely I'm just a loud talker do to tinnitus. She was the one who was just assertive then became rude and disrespectful to me and stated I must leave due to deferred permanently. She tore my heart and character from me and belittled who I am and my disability. She stated she knows what ptsd is. I would have thought maybe she would knows how it feels,but everyone is different. I have been going to Bio-life since Nov 2019 and have had no real issues other then one of their managers Kay, she is extremely rude to customers, and totally disrespectful of other employees around her. Yes I have talked to management. However she is still allowed to be ugly and disrespectful in every way, she needs to be taught customer service skills and she go though manger training on how to treat other employees. read more
