The tech was kind and I was hopeful, but he was not able to get the needle in my vein. I prefer not to let them "dig" for it and, to his credit, he didn't seem to want to do that to me. He offered to let me sit for a few minutes and then try again. I declined. If you don't have a code, "go back to the representative." I understand the need to vet out volunteers but Red Cross has made this too difficult to give back to my community.
