With such an active lifestyle, discovering River Oaks Drip Spa (RODS) a few years back was an absolute game-changer. Initially drawn in by their Cryotherapy, Infrared Sauna, and Red Light Therapy (all fantastic, by the way), I never planned to venture into their IV drip offerings. Truth is, I have a pretty intense blood-injection-injury phobia, meaning needles into veins usually equals me feeling faint. But there's something about RODS's calm, welcoming atmosphere--and my own relentless desire to challenge myself--that convinced me to give their Myer's Drip a chance. I'm so glad I took that leap. Here's an insider tip: Tracey is genuinely the best nurse I've ever encountered. She's incredibly skilled, attentive, and comforting--honestly, she's the only person I trust with needles. The first time she did my drip, I didn't even feel the needle at all. That's pure talent. These days, juggling life as a father of four young kids, a thriving professional and national speaker, and Spartan athlete, my schedule and energy demands are intense. RODS has become indispensable for my preparation and recovery routine. If you've ever been curious about IV drip therapy or wellness treatments but hesitated, do yourself a favor and visit River Oaks Drip Spa. Trust me, you won't regret it. In fact, writing this review reminds me--it's about time I schedule my next drip!

I personally hate needles since my veins are so tiny and hard to find but these ladies found them with ZERO issues and made my experience phenomenal! Definitely will be back soon! Bonus: they have memberships as well!

If you're wondering if you should try Alex, I'll try to summarize him for you: - Laid back, down to earth, unpretentious - Extremely knowledgeable in all facets of massage therapy - Someone who genuinely wants to help - Holistic and therapeutic - Patient-focused Alex was able to tell that I had TMJ just by looking at me, how the heck could he tell??? I didn't even realize you could get a massage for TMJ! So, that was another bonus. He's definitely interactive and wants your feedback as he strives to do as much as he can for you without the guesswork so be prepared to explain what you need and help him help you. Alex doesn't let you leave empty handed. He gave me some useful tips for where my pressure points were to reduce stress and to relieve TMJ pain. In addition, he gave me some exercises I could do at work while sitting at my desk. And his prices are extremely fair for the bay area!

There is always a chance I was misreading, but after over 10 years of getting massages from both male and female therapists, and attending massage school myself, I think not. Something was definitely amiss with this guy. There were a few things that happened that made me uncomfortable beyond just the vibe of the place. Nothing super blatant, but enough that I will not go back, and am taking the time to write this review for you. I actually made an excuse and left my appointment early.
