Beware of BIOLIFE ;-( Appears they think they're better than any other plasma collection company. BioLife can go FUCK OFF! BioLife - Needs to seriously educate their staff! I was checking out BioLife on May 14th, told has to be 7 days from last visit to CLS was May 11th, told to return on May 18th. Spent 3+ hours becoming a new member at BioLife, after the full exam, getting drained and told to return on Wednesday 20th as that would be 2nd in 7 days. I return to BioLife on 20th, told I'm still popping up in system at CLS, so return on 22nd today. Now, told that because I have popped up 2 times as another center, I'm band from BioLife for every!!! That's there rules, not anyone else's rules. So I have only gave plasma once in 7 days (Monday to Monday is 6 days) but, because I checked in on 20th and the 14th (gave nothing, no blood test or plasma), just checked IN, I CAN'T go to BioLife Plasma every again! That's just dumb! All because there STAFF us not trained properly. Spoke with manager stephanie , and she apologizes and says we'll train her people! read more

The donation process itself is only supposed to take about 45 minutes, so these long wait times are unacceptable. I used to donate plasma and still make it to work at Georgia Tech on time. At this location, I'd end up missing work almost every time. read more

If you have more than donating blood to do, please find a different location. even with an appointment you will be waiting for 2 to 3 hours before your donation. the line wraps around the corner for everything and there's not many employees so everything takes extra long. douglasville location gets everything done within an hour never has lines wrapping around the building. every time i come here, i expect to take like 4 hours. its actually wild how long everything takes. other than that, they're kind and do their job. just slowly because they're completely out numbered. read more

Been here 3 times. Let me tell you my experience... the first time: (which is the new donor process) which takes up to 2-3 hours, no problem. everyone was friendly helpful and moves pretty fast. the second time & third time: my experience was horrible! they only had 1 person doing the physical because the older lady was upset and walked off from a LONG LINE of people that had been patiently waiting already 15+mins. Once I got seated the process still didn't started and I sat WITHOUT ANY EXPLANATION for what's happening for another 20mins until I finally spoke up and asked questions. This place doesn't have any sense of quickness. I guess after the first appt the rest of the appts doesn't matter when it comes to time. The check in physical that they do every time you come in are super slow now. It's like nobody in the front knows what their role really is. They're checking ppl in and trying to conduct these physical (while moving SUPER SLOW) like WTF! They act as if our time is valuable because we're donating so they move VERY SLOW. This place is awful. You have to wait almost two hours to even be seated to be drawn. And the last two times I went I was stuck by amateurs that can't find a vein to save their life and gave me internal bleeding due to them not being properly trained and when I brought it to the attention to the head "clown" nurse she brushed me aside like all their techs are properly trained. As if i dnt know, which i do because i been a combat medic and paramedic for 17 years. Lol If that was the case then how come I have internal bleeding? Absolute clown show here. So if decide to come dnt be surprised if you leave bruised and have internal bleeding due to the hellen Keller plasma center for the blind and retarded that work here. read more

The line first of all is the most prominent thing, they are so incredibly slow and do not care about your time. Then not only this but they're understaffed and do not care to fix their amount of workers they currently have. It used to be much quicker back then, but not it's not even worth it sometimes to go there. This should be quick and easy, not take me 4-5 hours of my day to get bare minimum. read more

They discriminate against single parents w/o child care. No where on the website does it say children are not allowed to attend the appointment with their parents. The website only says the play room is closed. Which is totally fine with me I don't allow strangers to watch my children. Do not come to this location. The location on Tara blvd allows you to bring your children. If I could rate zero stars I would. Mind you they would not allow my children due to covid 19 restrictions however non of the staff in the place or the lady who spoke with me were wearing mask. So you're allowed to spread the disease by choosing to be maskless but I can't bring my children with me to donate because of covid restrictions. Very backwards. Sucks because I am vaccinated never caught covid perfect health. My blood plasma would have been useful and I'm a rare blood type. Their loss read more

If I could give zero stars I would. My first time donating was 5 hours long. The line to donate, once you have already done the vitals is so long, 2 hours long, the just schedule so many people, and they don't have either enough beds, or techs. It is just plain horrible. I've been to the other location in McDonough with really great experiences and I can't say the same for this location. I walked in (late) which was my own issue since I was coming from far away,it is 2:45pm. I get to the front and I get met with hostility that they have a 10 minute grace period and I have to reschedule. Alright, fair enough. I get on the app, and within a minute of the front desk staff berating me I'm about to reschedule. She again, gets very emotional and tells me "sorry, you're going to have to leave, because of Covid we can't allow people who are not donors to be in this area." so she asks me to step outside, I make my appointment for 2:50pm (yes, 5 minutes later). I walk back inside, and get in line do my questionnaire. it's been almost an hour here and I've yet to have my pre donation blood screening. Idk who's running the show here but something doesn't add up based on the other location and how much better my experiences have been THERE. Do yourself a favor, just schedule at the McDonough location. Don't know what the problem at this location is. I've been waiting longer than anyone else and they're still doing screenings on other people before me.Seriously, just go to the other location. read more

This particular place is very slow. Their employees are just walking around while the lines are building up. They leave their new employees who are training by themselves without help. You have to have an appointment here so I don't understand why they do not schedule enough people to carry for the day! read more
