I don't understand why so many people did one star. I was honestly considering canceling my appointment day of. I didn't even think to look at reviews for this place until I got a random yelp notification. The place was clean and the staff was so friendly. I brought my dad with me but he couldn't stay inside, for germ purposes I believe. My appointment was at 5:00pm and I ended up going home around 8:30-9:00pm. I was a new patient and never donated plasma at all, so the long process was expected. I didn't even bruise badly (or at all) like the rest of these reviews. I think they bent their arm with the needle in and didn't follow the nurses orders just so they can write a bad review. The place was really nice and the chairs were comfy as well. It was hard to fall asleep since it was so late, but I'm definitely gonna donate again. I only got $70 dollars but if I donate twice a week, it will add up to the $575 I was promised from what online said. I'm only 20, so that's probably why I didn't bruise but seriously, this place isn't as bad as ya'll think it is. I got checked in, waited, they gave me some beef jerky, some goldfish crackers, two ensure drinks (chocolate the first time, and vanilla the second time), and a sugar free electrolyte powder to go into a water bottle. The music wasn't too loud in the place either, it was like a background noise. The nurses weren't talking loudly either. People were respecting their own spaces and rightfully used headphones as told. There were no loud devices or angry elders. Just a chill time giving back to people in need. 10/10.

Giant hematoma from their carelessness with sticking me!

Not sure I would recommend. They only accept you by appointment now. No walk-ins. They require you to have an available vein on both arms and tried to turn me away because I don't have a good vein in my right arm. They said it was just about the same size as the needle and that could pose a problem if there's a complication and they have to give me my blood back. But I also would not ever let them use my right arm because the last time I was there, they did it wrong and gave me a huge hematoma. Because of this, they would not let me donate until the entire bruise was completely gone.

First time donor here, took 3 hours total first day to get physical and info. Came in at 9:15 and got out at around 12. Devon, Victoria and Ella were kind and helpful. Smooth experience, just a bit busy (Sunday). No bruising or anything afterwards! Just mild discomfort with the needle in you and when it was inserted but I got 100 bucks out of it.

The needle that was inserted in me came loose and this was the result.

My experience started out smooth. Everyone was kind and nice However , this was my first time so I didn't know what to expect. Be careful who you have poke you in your arm.

There were few people, it was Sunday. This time they did everything very quickly, I left satisfied. Thank you

What stood out most was not simply feeling uncomfortable, but feeling disrespected, dismissed, and unheard when we tried to communicate our concerns. When we first arrived, we were not greeted or given clear direction or guidance, despite explaining that we were first-time donors and unfamiliar with the process. When we calmly tried to explain that we were confused and frustrated, we were repeatedly interrupted, accused of having an "attitude," and told to "just leave" and not "act up." Neither my partner nor I were given the opportunity to even finish a sentence before being interrupted. During the screening process, we also individually experienced comments, reactions, and facial expressions from a nurse regarding our tattoos and piercings that came across as judgmental and unnecessary. There were also instances throughout our visit of employees laughing and talking amongst themselves while looking in our direction, which further contributed to feeling as though we were not being taken seriously. We did speak with management during our visit, and we appreciated the Assistant Manager, Octavia, who took the time to actually listen to us and address the situation. We have also escalated our concerns further to the appropriate Management/Corporate team for review. We came in genuinely intending to donate and potentially become regular donors. As first-time donors, we expected to be greeted, guided through the process, and treated with basic professionalism and respect. Instead, we felt as though our concerns were treated as a problem rather than being heard and addressed respectfully. People should be able to voice a concern without being made to feel like they are "acting up" simply for speaking up. We hope our experience is taken seriously and that additional attention is given to professionalism, respect, communication, and how new donors are treated.

I waited a few minutes and the technician in the first processing station finally came over and took me to his station. It went okay but I was rejected after the finger prick indicated low iron level. My rating would have been 4-star. This was not the same for my husband who had a 10:50 appointment. It was a complete disaster-- thus the 1-star rating. He arrived on time and waited at the reception desk 25 minutes before anyone acknowledged him. He made it through the initial processing and blood prick. He was then told to go to a booth to complete an EXTENSIVE questionnaire on a computer. The software was so bad my husband had to repeatedly keep tapping buttons to record his answers and move on. It took him nearly and hour because of the awful software issues, which were acknowledged by one of the staff. He was finally referred to the nurse for the physical and had to wait in a line that wrapped around almost the entire interior perimeter of the clinic. It took him back to the reception desk where a staff member told him to start over. He protested and then was taken to the nurse station where he waited again in a long line. The nurse rejected him due to a conflict with his medications. This was after two hours of being sent in circles, dealing with a barely functioning computer/software system, and a totally disorganized staff. We will never go back to this clinic. An appointment means nothing.
