I've been coming to this location for years, had some issues here & there! I'm provoked today!!!!I feel like some of the Staff are Super unprofessional with attitudes towards the donors!!! Just my luck to have some new phlebotomist training on me! Set up took forever, they put a raggedy DEFECTIVE BP cuff on me!!! Machine kept stopping over 5 times! They final trouble shoot then another ISSUE, I had NO FLOW, needle had to be readjusted! No one APOLOGIZED for my INCONVENIENCE! 2 donors set up in my section after me left way before me!!!! They definitely play in your face then gossip & laugh about it!!!!:-( read more

The only thing "positive" about this place is the attitude the staff gives you while you sit and wait forever. The wait times are ridiculous, and nobody communicates anything. Staff is too busy laughing and chatting with each other to actually help people. Completely disorganized, unprofessional, and clearly not concerned with anyone's time. By far The worst plasma center in houston the place was empty when I arrived an still I waited for 4 hrs for them to tell me that I need to again so I accepted there treats an when I refuse to not eat there expired crackers was told I couldn't donate so I was there from 9:30 to 1:30 freezing just to get to the back an they tell me I can't donate because I've been waiting on them for 4 hours an again the place was empty when I got there I seen over 7 different nurses this is the worst donation I've ever been to. read more

The wait is never what they tell you it is. My first donation took over 6 hours (luckily I brought something to read) and the process as a whole just seemed very mismanaged. In the back, 15-20 of the machines were vacant while there were dozens of people waiting in the front. I highly recommend not going here unless you are absolutely desperate for the money, which is $50 each for the first 5 donations. read more

Punishing Donner's The Monroe location is not playing movies for the Donner anymore. Because of something the employees did. This is wrong. I have been going to this location for about a year. I am there 2 hours from the time I walk in to the time I walk out. The movies help make this time go faster. I do not think it is right to punish the Donner for something the employees do. All the people that work on the floor are great people. I have yet meet anyone that was not nice and does a great job. They are the best. But management have a lot to think about. They need to think about there Donner. I might have to find a different location to donate read more

AWFUL SERVICE!! The staff is extremely rude and insensitive to people's needs. They are also incompetent. DO NOT LET THEM STICK A NEEDLE IN YOU! They might kill you and blame you for dying. One of the staff members was deliberately unhelpful to a gentleman who was asking what they should do. He didn't have his Social Security card, she told him to go get a new copy, he asked "where can I get one?" The lady rudely responded "Google it!" She was literally in front of her computer with internet access. The man walked away infuriated and they just snickered at him. Another gentleman walked in With a W2 that had gotten damp and instead of putting on gloves or even looking at it to get the info she needed THE STAFF, made a scene shouting "THAT'S WET, SHE'S NOT TOUCHING THAT!!" And refused to be helpful in any way, rudely and insensitively sending away another frustrated client. They are incredibly ineffective asking me multiple times to clear up multiple things I had cleared up. They grab everyone's social security cards and write them down much later rather than just doing it right away. There was one guy whose address didn't match the address on his driver's license and the receptionist instead of being helpful, was extremely rude and interrogative instead of clearing up a simple question. Seriously these people are completely incompetent. DO NOT LET THEM STICK NEEDLES IN YOUR BODY. These people have obviously stopped caring about the clients. Thy don't deserve even one star. STAY AWAY from this Biomat!! The staff's rude behavior isn't even acceptable at a hole in the wall diner let alone a Plasma donation center where you literally put your life in their hands while donating plasma from your blood. read more

Was turned off by donating. Lots of homeless people. In the ghetto/low socioeconomic level part of town. It was packed and smelled like cigarettes. I was informed at the front desk the new donor process was 2-3 hrs. There were 8-9 new donors in front of me. I did not feel safe as a young woman there. read more

Ive been sitting i lobby since 1045only 5 return donors 1 new donor and been here now 30 minutes. Not lack of staff because several employees standing around laughing and not actually working.its now 1125 and haven't had my fingers stick yet. Kristal does a grrrrrreat job running the back of the house. Employees in back do good. Just need order in front maybe have a designated person pulling chart so fran doesn't have to. read more

Be prepared to spend at LEAST 3 hours at this facility - Extremely slow and understaffed. For the money they get from donations they should be able to get people in and out. Molasses uphill in the Winter is faster than this place. read more

First off I would not go back to this place even if someone paid me too. It seemed as though all of the employees there were racist against white people. Me and my friend wanted to do something good so we thought donating plasma would be the perfect thing since we didn't have much to do today. Anyway, I called the plasma center and the people said new donors only have to wait like 2 hours but normally its 1 hour for people that have already been there. So when we arrived the people at the desk gave us mean looks which made us both feel uncomfortable, along with that we were the only white people there which was awkward. After the first hour they finally sent us to the back to see if our veins were good enough. The nurse that checked my veins was this white girl who was short and had short hair. She was very rude and had a ghetto type attitude. It was clear that my veins were just perfect for donating but she claimed she couldn't even see them, and I want to note that I am a previous donor at CSL Plasma so I know for a fact my veins are excellent for donating but in her racist eyes I just was not good enough to donate. My friend passed the vein check and they sent us both back into the waiting room. Another hour passed and I went to the desk to ask how much longer we would have to wait and the nurse responded rudely that my friend was next, so I went and sat back down. At this point 15 people came through the front door and they only waited 10 minutes until they called them back to donate. I knew something was fishy about it so I went back to the desk and asked if they had forgotten about us and she said then that they didn't and that they had 7 people ahead of us when just minutes ago the same lady said we were next. I then asked how much longer it would be for the process once my friend got back to the donating room, and the lady at the desk responded and said once my friend got back there she had about 4 hours until completion. I would not recommend this plasma center to anyone who is Caucasian because there is obvious racism at this plasma center and you will get treated very badly by the staff there. I gave this plasma center 1 star because yelp will not let me give them a 0. Unbelievable experience with these people.. We ended up walking out. read more

This is without a doubt the worst plasma donation center I've been to. The wait is just not worth it. The average time you will spend here is about 4-5 hours and that's not including the time it takes to donate. Their screening process is definitely not efficient whatsoever. And a majority of their employees are slow paced. When you finally get to the back, there are plenty of empty machines that could be used. Because of the countless flaws of this facility, there are always angry donors which causes the employees to become agitated. I wouldn't recommend donating at this location unless you're desperate or have all day...literally. read more
