I made my 44th donation at this facility at approximately 8:33 AM, after no longer being tolerant of the amateurish, unsophisticated and impudent behavior ever present at the Blanding location. Alex performed my entire screening without making any eye contact utilizing a dry, low monotonous voice totally absent of any degree of altruism. Cydney's rude and aggressive disconnection procedure grossly overshadowed that of Alex. It's as if some members of this staff are totally void of any interpersonal skills and are socially inept. METRESS, is the complete antithesis of her cross-functional teammates , She is always polite, friendly and extremely compassionate. She always refers to each donor by their individual name and inquires about their creatures comforts. Grifols provides an invaluable asset to the medical community and your staff should reflect such in their daily interaction with each donor... I have been to this plasma center twice--once this afternoon and yesterday afternoon. Yesterday I arrived at 4:30pm, and they said that they stop taking new donors at 4:00. Today I arrived at 1:45, and they said that they stop taking donors at 1:00. They do not have this posted anywhere. When I checked in the kiosk stated that all that was required for new donor registration was the following: (1) 2 hours of time, (2) photo identification, (3) proof of address. I had all of that, and they still required my social security card. I explained that , that was not posted on the website nor was it posted at check in on the kiosk. I asked why she could not just take my social on a piece of paper, and she said that they were not allowed to do that. No one should ever be mandated to bring their social security card to a plasma center in order to be qualified to donate. As taxpayers, we are entitled to confidentiality and privacy as listed in the Tax Payer's Bill of Rights. There was one other plasma center that allowed me to register without having to have my actual social security card, but the environment was toxic and hostile due to sexual misconduct and discrimination. Biomat staff members on duty today 5/6/2023 at 1:45pm looked at my identifying documents and said that they could not register me because my last name on my social security card was hyphenated. I requested documentation that specifically prohibits people with hyphenated last names from being onboarded as new donors. The supervisor on duty explained that they are not allowed to provide print outs of standards of policy. They said that the corporate office is the one that generates the standards of policy. The manager said to go to 1800GRIFOLS to contact the corporate office, but when I searched for the corporate office number it was not as he said. The phone number for corporate office is 888-474-3657 (or 888-GRIFOLS). The payments that I get from donating plasma really help me when I am in a pickle, so I strongly dislike being kept from donating plasma. I enjoy being able to contribute to the medical needs of sicker citizens, and GRIFOLS as well as Octapharma have interfered with that. I said that they are discriminating against me on the basis of family structure and their policy was in violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. They could be sued for that. Staff members at GRIFOLS clearly have their priorities in disarray when they are generating policies that conflict with federal laws. Their policies are supposed to uphold federal laws, not breach them. read more

Went to this BPL PLASMA Center on Dunn Ave this Morning, Normally I check in But today it wouldn't let me, I asked five (5) people for help they said okay I'll be right there BUT no one even ask me what was going on! One of the Guys I asked him replied okay I'll be right there and he went in the little room sat down ate his biscuit and was Drinking his COFFEE! They didn't have but two (2) people in there donating I would have made the 3rd person! They walked around there doing NOTHING! Like they was at a Club or something! I usually go to the Dunn Ave location. I have been going for about two years now and I had a friend inquire about donating here. I explained to them the process and how to put me down as a referral in great detail, which they did. We followed proper procedure to acquire the referral bonus. but upon adding them to the system on their first day, the employee did not put me down as a referral so they never paid me my referral fee. I asked several people, including the manager to rectify the situation and they would not. One employee kept insisting it was the new donor's fault for not putting me down, and another employee stated it was a mistake on their behalf as the front staff probably just hurried the check-in process and did not connect the accounts to pay out the fee. They insisted she never put me down as a referral when I am positive she did. As if this wasn't enough, the person I referred also referred someone else and once again, they did not hold up on their end of the payment. They did the same thing to her and did not pay her out her referral bonus either, so I am sure now that this was a mistake on their behalf and not ours. They absolutely refused to rectify the situation. Most of the time this place gets you in and out, but don't bother referring anybody for the bonus because they will do whatever they can to not have to pay it out. I feel like I have been a very loyal donor and this was extremely frustrating. read more

This is for the Dunn ave location I love the Mayport location I haven't donated in months but normally my location is Mayport but my car broke down I decided try Dunn closer to my house and get there by 2:40 and was told they no longer seeing new donors for today try tomorrow so i said well what is the normal cut off time and the guy says 4pm but today it was 2 o'clock these young folks don't wanna work so I called Mayport location and they told me to come on in they still accepting new donors. Dunn is a joke people don't waste your time and it's just the looks on they faces when you walk in also not a very inviting look. read more

So my wife was called up for her weight and finger scan. The employer conducting this procedure was extremely rude and most offensive. She used facial gestures suggesting offensive manners.. I did not question her of her actions against my wife however I am reporting her to corporate as well.. As I'm waiting to be hooked up to donate me. Tequila the supervisor in the back was also rude to me. As I was told to get on the bed she rudely demanded that I go sit in the waiting chairs. read more

I've been to different places and this one is definitely the most efficient and the wait is not bad at all definitely quickest when your new donor. They got me registered and Goin in 1h45min. The people who work there were really helpful and kind. They also answer the phone and talked to me liked they cared. I haven't had one bad experience with anyone there or I would say so now. Once you do ate the 1st time the next time is the quickest I've seen of all the other places. The mo ey is why most people go to these places and Biomat who is Grifols seems to value us more. The new promo as of yesterday now matches Blandings location so it seems that corporate values the people at the Dunn location equally to Orange Park. R plasma just as good as OP! Thanks to all the people who work there in getting me in and out. FYI they just got all new machines. Don't 4get to refer people to make extra money and be nice and thank tge people who work there as they work long hours. Well that's my real take on Biomat on Dunn. Good donating to all new donors.
