I was a long time donor. When I returned to start donating again they list me as a client. They gave my card to another donor, who withdrew from it thinking it was their money, and when I reported it to them instead of fixing it or looking into it I was pushed off to the bank, who wanted permission to pursue the individual for fraud. That was over4 months ago. I went back to donate and was put off because they didn't have any physicals available for me (they do them first come first serve) and I had no notification in the booking system. I had a friend whom I had referred and it took them 2 hours, and two different employees being asked, to tell me that he didn't qualify as a referral for me. Prior to these last few encounters of have given them 4 stars, but now? They've slipped dramatically in their pursuit of efficiency. read more

If I could give -10000 I would. I would not recommend going to donate here, after you've received the new donor pay they basically give the least possible. Employees are rude & disrespectful some don't even know what they are doing on the floor. All the employees are obviously not on the same page because they all say what they want & get no type of repercussion for their false advertisement. This place is SO UNCOORDINATED and SLOW. All employees have no idea what there doing. First time we went here waited 6 hours which is ridiculous. For the month of May you would receive 100$ first 5 times. On the 3rd time we went we got 50$ but they said it was because of the new month of June. Weeks go by, my friends were still getting 100$ even though it was June. So we call and come to find out we were supposed to be getting 100$ but whoever we talked to be before said no. Just shows they all have no idea what there doing. They have lost my pee 3 times. It takes hours to get out of here. They are never on time for your appointment. They need employees that know what their doing & they need to add more space like pasco. PASCO ONE IS WAY BETTER. Very organized, know what their doing & you in and out of there VERY quick. Their staff is very professional and fast. Of course they are fast! That's how they are trained and reviewed!! I have never had a really bad experience there. The bitches in the front waste so much time talking and doing other bullshit. They just stand up from trying to look cute and talking to each other about nothing that has to do with work. And get maybe 2-3 clients screened every 30 minutes. It's ridiculous. What are they being paid for? They have 5-6 girls in the front and back just sitting around chatting. This place pays $30 for plasma donation. It's a long prescreening process and if u don't qualify ur day is wasted. I qualified and was allowed to donate the same day but it was painful. As a result, I don't think I can be a long term donor. read more

This location is not interested in acquiring new donors. Or even returning ones. My girlfriend and I went down today as new donors. I have donated for a period of about 2 months at a Spokane based center, and my girlfriend donated at this (grifols kennewick) center for about 6 months approx. 4 years ago. We have both donated for extra cash in the past, and so we are a little familiar about the process. After waiting for 2 hours, I was led back to a small room where I was told I would not be able to donate because of a kidney disease I had as a toddler. While this may seem like a valid reason, I am healthy and have not had an issue with my kidney since my operation... when I was 4. They basically asked me if I had EVER been sick or had any sort of medical issue, and this is it. So apparently you must be a perfect specimen. This incident, however, is not the issue at hand. My SO waited around for another 1.5 hours after I left. She was urine and blood tested and inspected. AFTER this, not before, the technician asked about a piercing that was noted on paperwork that was not noted on the paperwork when she was donating at this location 4 years ago. She told the tech that she forgot she ever had the piercing but remembered it this time, and made a note of it for them. The tech proceeded to imply she lied to Grifols years ago, and banned her from donating on the spot. Meanwhile, the staff is joking and palling around with the regulars in the lobby who are obviously not in great health and very, very likely on drugs. Common sense tells me these people likely lied through the whole process, and Grifols Biomat USA can wash its corporate hands while sucking their blood. TL:DR Don't waste your time donating at this location - unless you lie, the lazy techs will find a reason to not strap you in. read more

I have been donating for the last 5 year. Yes, the prescreening is long and can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours. But your first 5 donations have a nice pay out to them. Then its easy every time you come back in. Just check in, wait in the lobby and watch some TV or play on your phone. Get a short prescreening and then go to the back and donate your plasma. Yes its still a little time consuming. Your total time there still averages about 2 to 3.5 hours. The pay rates change every now and then. same as the first 5 donations can change the pay rate. Right now they pay $35 for the first donation of the week and $55 for the second. They have some nice promotions as well. I like the pay and that I am helping to save a life but the time it takes is the worst part. I don't mind pain and most of the time it dose not hurt but there is, on occasion, an off day where it dose hurt and the proses gets slowed down and makes that donation more of a hassle than its worth. BUT they do listen to you and try to help make you feel better and will disconnect you if that's what you want. its not all bad. I have been doing this for 5+ years. read more

Biomat in Kennewick. You'll wait for three hours to be told to go home. If you don't check in, because whoever is working the check in isn't there, you'll be yelled at, belittled, and told to make another appointment. You can't leave the building once you've checked in, not even if you have anxiety, to get a breath of fresh air. They keep it freezing in that place so dress warm or you'll freeze before you've been seen. The new system has you give them your finger print, blood, social security, birth date, address, and plasma it's amazing they don't ask for your first born. Only two gals up front are competent enough to actually work there and the workers in the back are amazing but aren't treated properly. The manager likes to tell the workers how to do their job when he himself has no idea what he is doing himself. The system is not working and I hate "donating" here now. Yes I have been a donor for 10 years and came back after a 3 or 4 year leave.I went back and they claimed they wanted to permanently defer me because I was not honest about my tattoos but the whole time they told me it was just a big misunderstanding and that they were waiting on quality control to give the go ahead to donate again.Also I have never gotten more tattoos since I first started donating way back in 1998 it is now 2015 I still do not have any new tats.I was kept there from 4 pm until 8:45 only to have them tell me I was permanently deferred.Tomorrow I am going back there to sort things out because they even had several mistakes in my files but do not want to own up to it and I am going to prove this by contacting other donation centers where I have donated.Then I am going to contact corporate and the BBB.This is gross mismanagement on behalf of employees who are breaking the rules based on railroading me and others based on no facts whatsoever.Until this matter is resolved I will not recommend anyone to donate.I gave it 3 stars because if it hadnt been for the corrupt bias and discrimination on the part of employees there it would be 5 stars.They need to tell people up front that they have evidence of what is on file because not everyone has a perfect memory and I certainly did not lie about anything.Biomat grifols would make far more money if they hired competent employees. read more

Even if you are in perfect condition they will make sure they try an find any reason to not let you donate. Whether its because the heart rate machine messes up and does not read anything 3 times, then they will differ you for the entire day rather then trying a different machine or simply trying again. Another example is if the needle clogs with skin or a scab or any reason due to the inexperience of the sticker during your donation you will be differed for 2 months, again nothing to do with anything you did wrong. Also if they mess up sticking you they will tell u that if u dont let them attempt at sticking the other arm then you wont get your money, so u will have to leave with 2 bandaged arms instead of just one. Don't be surprised if they expect you to be a test dummy for a new hire, and you may have to ask multiple times about where the money on your card is 30+ minutes after you have already completed your donation. read more
