The facilities seem unacceptable, from an aseptic point of view. I would not only be afraid to donate at this center, but also afraid to accept plasma that had been donated there. They ask questions such as how many different sex partners have you had in the last... period of time, and so on. The only sex I've ever had is with my husband, but I'm screened because I have diabetes and high blood pressure, and I need approval from my doctor. It seems a little backwards, doesn't it?

I was checking out BioLife on May 14th, told has to be 7 days from last visit to CLS was May 11th, told to return on May 18th. Spent 3+ hours becoming a new member at BioLife, after the full exam, getting drained and told to return on Wednesday 20th as that would be 2nd in 7 days. I return to BioLife on 20th, told I'm still popping up in system at CLS, so return on 22nd today. Now, told that because I have popped up 2 times as another center, I'm band from BioLife for every!!! That's there rules, not anyone else's rules. So I have only gave plasma once in 7 days (Monday to Monday is 6 days) but, because I checked in on 20th and the 14th (gave nothing, no blood test or plasma), just checked IN, I CAN'T go to BioLife Plasma every again! That's just dumb! All because there STAFF us not trained properly. Spoke with manager stephanie , and she apologizes and says we'll train her people!

When I first arrived to start my enrollment, the lengthy process was made less tedious by the staff's genuine enthusiasm for these donations truly making a difference in the medical world and in real peoples' lives, which gave me more motivation to continue donating regularly. The donation process from start to finish can vary greatly depending on the day and time that you go, however, I have generally been in and out within an hour, due to efficiency of processes in place. There is a very laid back and calm atmosphere to the place, despite it sometimes being very crowded with other donors. There's even free WiFi to use while you donate with nothing else to do, so that's a plus! The only negative I have observed at this Octapharma Plasma location is that although the clinic is usually meticulously clean, the restrooms on occasion have been horrifyingly dirty. All things considered, I would definitely recommend donating here, however, I would recommend avoiding the restrooms while there.

Every time I came to this location. The system was either down or they wasn't taking no new donors for some reason. Sometimes it'll be a line and of course I don't know how many people are actually at work at that time so sometimes I get it. Although most times when I went it would be maybe 5 people in line and maybe a few people in the back but they was still taking no donors. I would like to add I've been trying to do this for a full month now on different days at different times early and later in the day but same result. Even calling the donor advocates line didn't resolve anything and it seems like they are reading from a customer service handbook and not really able to help with anything other than basic donor stuff that you can research on the website yourself. Only thing I can say is that the workers who I have talked to in the center seemed nicw so I can't complain there.

They were cool and easy to talk to, they helped you through the process of giving a donation and they made you feel comfortable during the process. My only problem is that when you call they are really not likely to pick up their phone. Which can be a problem if your trying to find something out without going In but if it's anything important and they said they will reach back out to you! They usually do!
