My surgeon told me I needed to stretch but I wasn't sure what that meant or how to do it. I'm so happy I found Nic. He took time to evaluate my conditions (which included posture problems from sitting at a desk my whole life) and he put together a very smart and thorough plan. He started me with simple exercises to build muscle and confidence. As I progressed he continually revised and gave me new exercises which built upon the previous. After a few months I was doing so much better. I saw Nic for about 9 months for bi-weekly visits where he would check my form and push me further. I was 61yo female, about 40 pounds overweight, completely out of shape, sore knees, but with a big competitive athlete within me. Last January I started doing bootcamp with Capstone and it really changed my life. I wish I could tell you it's easy - but the first couple weeks were tough and you really have to hang in with it. My body was adjusting to the workouts. My ego was adjusting to mental strength needed to do these workouts. But it truly does get easier, and one of the best things Christina (owner/trainer) told me when I started was to not try and keep up with the people who've been there for a long time. Just do my own workout and don't give up. Within 3 months I have lost about half the weight, my clothes feel good, and I'm getting stronger every week. It really is a community here, and everybody supports each other wherever they are on their journey. I've been doing some form of fitness training for most of my life. This is one of the best, if not the best, experiences I've had. It's fun, it's fast (45 minutes), it's energizing, and you get real results and meet nice people. The trainers are exceptional as well - it's a small family business and they know what they're doing. Highly recommended. I actually look forward to working out!

Paula has a thorough knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the musculoskeletal system. Which is critical - The last thing I want to do is train wrong and do more damage. Initially, I began training with Paula because of a rotator cuff injury. Paula 's knowledge of anatomy and how the body builds and heals muscles is above and beyond what I expected. ( Experienced she gained from Dental School) I no longer have any issues with my shoulder and still, train with Paula three days a week. Both inside and outside of her studio. Every session with Paula is different, working different parts of the body in the most innovative and fun workouts ever. Yes, they are fun, but also intense, I often have a pleasant soreness after our workouts, but have never been injured from pushing myself hard. Can you come back tomorrow. I told her yes but please call if there is an issue for we are driving a distance. We show up the next day and the same receptionist says, "Oh sorry, we still don't have it." I asked her why she didn't call us and she shrugs her shoulders. Awful service and horrible communication skills. I will make sure that none of my athletes or sons friends ever go here. Not as much as a whoops....my bad.....or I'm sorry.
