There is not enough time, nor space to write all the positive things I want to write about Wellness Mode. For time and space sake, I will abbreviate my journey. In October of 2021, I was feeling extra weight creep up around my waist and we had not even reached Thanksgiving, yet! So I began to do my research regarding weight-loss, health programs, health apps, exercise/gym options and I decided the Wellness Mode program was the best for my schedule, my lifestyle and my goals. I began the program early January of 2022. I chose this program specifically because I was looking for a way to improve my eating habits, plus gym/exercise time was not a necessity. I have no time to do anymore activities in my day. I am a full-time teacher, mother of 2 (4 and 2 year old), wife to a firefighter who sometimes is away for long periods of time and a daughter of two elderly parents who need me. When I called Wellness Mode, from the moment I contacted them, they took me by the hand every step of the way. No question was a dumb question. I asked questions, received answers even if I had already received the answer before. They repeated answers kindly and respectfully. They explained every step of the process. They were so patient, caring and warm as they processed my initial application that I knew I was in good hands! When I began the program in January of 2022, again, the customer service/messaging aspect of their product was amazing. I was always supported. I had check-in reminders, payment reminders, motivating quotes to keep me focused on the healthy lifestyle changes, constant and quick answers to my questions. The one time when I was sick with a cold, they were there to provide support so I could continue the program even while feeling a little ill. It was amazing! As far as the results. . . I lost weight and I have never felt better! After the second week of changing my food intake (as prescribed by the diet menus), I noticed my energy increasing. I was waking up before my alarm. I am still waking up in the morning, bouncy and bushy-tailed before my alarm. I am like a child! I have so much energy now that I do not want the day to end! I have had so much energy that it has propelled me to finally embark on many of my personal goals; one of them being to start my own company. Also, last year, I noticed I was losing a lot of hair every time I ran the thick-tooth comb through it. Now, every time I run the comb through my hair, there is one strand- if that, sometime no hair. Plus, I have so many baby strands coming in! Another huge change with changing my eating habits is that I used to have to take a Zyrtec every day- for allergies, itchiness, inflammation, etc. Well, after being on the program for about 4 weeks, I only had to take it every other day. Then, after 12 weeks of the program, I do not take the Zyrtec anymore. I think I took 2.5mg here recently because I went to my mother's house and she has a cat. I am allergic to cats. These are only a few of the health benefits I have felt with being on the program and adjusting my food intake to match the Wellness Mode style- but I have a list of 20+ benefits. And I am not even mentioning the changes in my husband's and children's eating habits. Wellness Mode has a wonderful product. They have amazing customer service. They are real people who care about each and every client. They are the coach, wellness/life/eating coach everyone should have. Omg where can I start with this program? I did my first round back in 2019 and lost a total of 30 lbs. I've always struggled with my weight and when I went to college I gained even more. I would give this business a negative rating if I could because 0 is too much! I messaged these people asking if their program was designed for minors (15 yr old) and was told that indeed it was and sent a "contract" (if it can be called that because it lacked several disclosures) in which it was described the need for before and after pictures (ok, no problem there). So I signed up my child and then immediately AFTER got a text asking for pictures of my child wearing tight clothes (this was NOT disclosed in the "contract") so her starting point was visible. My child being a bit overweight does not have any tight clothes so we opted for leggings and a sports bra and sent them pictures without showing her face because my daughter does not feel comfortable taking pictures that show her body. I immediately got a reply asking to show her face, my daughter didn't feel comfortable and I am not one to force kids to do something they feel uncomfortable doing. So I said I would text them later hoping to have them let it go. Then on the day that we were scheduled to meet for the shopping trip I was asked again to submit photos showing her face so I kindly replied my daughter and husband did not feel comfortable with that step (which once AGAIN was NOT disclosed in the contract AT ALL) and to please understand. Their reply was "She is protected by the HIPAA law, we do not share any pictures or information with out your consent. Having her before pictures with her face included helps us put a face to her name when we are coaching her. This is also stated in the agreement note sent to you prior to signing up. I hope you understand." This is literally what they text me. It was a total disregard of how we felt about that step, a total disregard of the lack of legal understanding that their contract FAILED to disclose this will be needed for all participants regardless of age. Had this been expressly stated in their contract PRIOR to taking our money I would've determined in advance this program was not for us. After getting that text I was upset at the fact that they have no idea how much my daughter has struggled with her weight and how much it has impacted her mentally and emotionally to the point that she doesn't feel comfortable doing what they were asking, this is a MINOR for Gods sake and they just don't care!!!! So obviously after that disregard I texted back saying that while HIPPA laws do protect my daughter's privacy the law does not protect me from child abuse, because forcing my daughter to do something she is not comfortable doing and which is detrimental to her mental and emotional health IS child abuse I wasn't going to do it. Their next reply? "Can we talk to you over the phone?" Like really not an apology or anything close to that? And why not text? Oh they were probably afraid because they know they are in so much legal trouble for failure to disclose so many things? So we decided to drop the program because my daughters well being and emotional health are not worth arguing with these people so we kindly communicated or stance and once again what did we get? "We completely understand and appreciate your honest feed back. We will take all of this into consideration for our future clients, thank you and have a great day." Not an apology or a "let me get you you're money back because we CLEARLY FAILED at so many levels when disclosing information about the contract and agreement so you could make the best informed decision you could make for your family and needs" nope, nothing, zero. It goes to show these people are NOT interested in helping people they're just money hungry!!! Like I said if you want to make deals with people that KNOW they're violating their contract and DO NOT give you your money back than this is the place to go, these are money hungry individuals for sure!
