Where do I even begin! Capstone has been the best gym I've been to and has helped me get in the best shape of my life. Not many gyms have a 5:30 am class which is convenient for my schedule. I love the people, the trainers, and the workouts, it is seriously like a family. The CUT by Capstone program helped transform my body into something I didn't think was possible. They taught me one way of healthy eating, which made a huge difference in the way I look and feel. Capstone trainers take the time to show you the proper form and technique and they push you to higher limits! Christina and James both helped prepare me for my first Bikini competition and I can't thank them enough! Their knowledge and patience were critical during my competition prep. Last January I decided to stop giving up on my life. Over the past 10 years I had stacked on the weight and getting pretty depressed about it. I was 61yo female, about 40 pounds overweight, completely out of shape, sore knees, but with a big competitive athlete within me. Last January I started doing bootcamp with Capstone and it really changed my life. I wish I could tell you it's easy - but the first couple weeks were tough and you really have to hang in with it. My body was adjusting to the workouts. My ego was adjusting to mental strength needed to do these workouts. But it truly does get easier, and one of the best things Christina (owner/trainer) told me when I started was to not try and keep up with the people who've been there for a long time. Just do my own workout and don't give up. Within 3 months I have lost about half the weight, my clothes feel good, and I'm getting stronger every week. It really is a community here, and everybody supports each other wherever they are on their journey. I've been doing some form of fitness training for most of my life. This is one of the best, if not the best, experiences I've had. It's fun, it's fast (45 minutes), it's energizing, and you get real results and meet nice people. Yesterday I ran my familiar trail of 4 miles without stopping...first time in several years. I've been trying to figure out how to stave off weight gain and muscle loss while spending endless hours in unsuccessful "workouts". Finally I achieved results with strength training at Capstone. Capstone Fitness is a gym where you are treated like family. There is no pretention, only encouragement, inspiration, and support. I take the boot camp classes, and there are several to choose from. The classes can be tough on some days, but the best part is they are only 45 minutes long. The instructors are professional and take the time to explain each detail of the workout before the class begins. They want to ensure everybody's form is correct and no one gets injured. The music is always great, the class sizes are perfect and a lot of fun! Going to the gym has helped me get stronger. I have a busy life as a business owner, wife and mother of 3 children. Life gets stressful. Taking boot camp classes helps with my anxiety and mood. I sleep better and feel better. They have taught me so much about a healthy diet. I have been going to Capstone Fitness for over a year and half now and no other workout has worked before for me. I would get bored and give up. I have to say that I am in the best shape of my life right now because of the CUT by Capstone program! It has taught me how to eat, what to eat and when to eat what. Yes, sounds confusing but I can tell you that once you are in the groove it's easy and becomes a way of life. The hardest part is not being able to have a glass of wine with friends at dinner or after a stressful day at work. I know I will not go back to eating like I used to and will continue with Boot Camp 5+ days a week. I have lost 10+ lbs so far and would like to loose a little more which I know I can do now that I have had this training. This review is long over due! I found capstone fitness on Facebook. I was surfing around on my friends Facebook pages and noticed that she tagged herself. At the time I was 6 weeks postpartum and frumpy. I loved my baby, hated my body! So I checked out capstone fitnesses website and Facebook page. What I was looking for was a program that I could get results with. I did not want a program that wasted my time and money. I needed someone who believed in the program they were teaching. Therefore, I did not want to join anywhere where the instructor was out of shape. I mean come on if they can't even look good in a swim suit, when it's their job to look good, what makes me think I will ever look good with their help?! The instructors at Capstone are in GREAT shape, check out their photos, heck check out Christina who won first place in a body building competition on her first attempt! Ummm yes PLEASE train me!! So I joined, 6 weeks postpartum going 4 days a week to the 5am class. It was brutal, in a good way, but I was looking forward to getting up at 4:30 to go workout. That has NEVER been the case for me. I usually dread getting up early to workout, somehow now I crave working out at Capstone and it doesn't matter what time the class is! I have been going to Capstone for 5 months, the results are measurable! I feel great, baby weight is GONE, I am proud to say I look better than before I was pregnant. The capstone team made me look and feel great, they taught me how to properly workout and eat. I am eternally grateful! I will say, I came in wanting and willing to make a change. I listened to all the trainers and changed my diet, I consistently push myself and they push me encouraging me to lift heavier weights, work harder. I had been an athlete for 12 years and I can honestly say that I've never been more toned than I am right now. I have been going to bootcamp at least 4 times a week for the past 5 weeks and have seen better results than any other method of workout out. In the month of June alone I lost 4lbs and 4% body fat as well as gaining confidence in myself and my body back. Instead of having to drag myself to the gym to do a random workout, I know for a fact Christina and James know what they're doing everytime I walk in that door. It's like a personal training session everytime but better because you have a team around you going through the same thing and music to motivate. Now, my day revolves around going to bootcamp. I look forward to seeing the same people in my class everyday. It's more than just a workout, we become connected and see eachother change with all the hard work being put in and give and are given constant kudos to eachother on our progress. It's an amazing feeling to have people backing you up and being on the same page as you. All in all, if you're looking to better yourself physically and mentally, at any level, Capstone is hands down the best place in the valley to do it. I have exercised my entire life and didn't really understand what it meant to be in shape until I found Capstone Fitness. All of the trainers go above and beyond. They are professional and pay close attention to detail and alignment to ensure you are working safely. Christina by far is the best motivator and trainer I have encountered. She is truly a gift! Boot camp and kick boxing are amazing workouts. I am never disappointed. Even in a busy boot camp class the one-on-one attention you receive is fantastic. I am at the tail end of the Cut program by Capstone and it has been such a learning experience.
