But after hitting adult puberty, I'll just say that I acquired some new hair placements that weren't aesthetically pleasing. I decided on a whim to book it after work around 430. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile at the front desk and she verified I wasn't taking any kind of skin or acne related medications and waited for Abbey to help me with this hairy problem. I told her this was my first time and she talked through some of the things to be aware of. And then I laid on the bench and got ready for Abbey to do her thing. The wax itself was very warm, approaching hot, but not uncomfortable. Abbey and I conversed through the whole process to distract and she mentioned this nostalgic tv show I won't type to betray my age. When she pulled off the wax, it was surprisingly not as painful as I was expecting. She was very quick and the whole process took under 15 min. When I looked at the mirror afterwards, my skin was pure as a babe's. Suffice to say, I originally stopped by this place based off someone's recommendation and I'll be coming back to do maintenance. Maybe even more work :)

I worked with Helen Victoria for my hair and she was so responsive and helpful leading up to my wedding day. She had a great process to help me decide on my final look and offered a trial to ensure we were both confident in it being perfect for the big day. My mother in law and best friend had their hair done by Molly and were equally impressed with their results! All of us had our makeup done by Michelle Sachs and she is so good! The makeup looked stunning and held up all day but felt so light on our skin. In addition to all of us being very happy with how we looked, we were also so well taken care of by the entire staff at the salon. They ensured we had the coffee, tea or water needed at all times, they allotted space for my wedding dress for the day and allowed us to get ready in one of the open esthetician rooms and even relax in the break room when we were all ready for the event. The garage has a door, just pull up and it will open! I was greeted right away by a very friendly woman and offered a beverage. I got a sparkling water and took my seat to start the pedicure. My nail tech was nice! The water basin was placed and was the perfect temp! The pedicure I got looks beautiful and didn't feel rushed! I had a different nail tech for my manicure and she was also very friendly! The manicure was done well and I am very happy with the results! I would absolutely recommend this nail salon to anyone! My research has piqued my interest to trying Rhonda Allison products for ethnic skin. But Megan has sold me on giving her a try for "results driven" facials. Megan impressed me initially by sharing her knowledge and reasoning behind the products used. She definitely embodies the definition of a customized facial based off whatever reason brought you in her studio mixed with the recommendations that she has from what she notices. I appreciate this honesty. I personally do not use 3x mirrors because I can't handle what I might see. So I expect my esthetician to manage the horror and make me have Gabrielle-Union-like skin without having to drink a gallon of water a day. Is this too unreasonable? Apparently not, because Megan has convinced me that she can deliver. For my custom facial she used a high frequency wand to zap my milia and other skin issues. It was such a warming feeling to find her using this machine because I JUST purchased one but was afraid to use it because I didn't want to shock myself or cause any skin damage. She eagerly showed me how to use the device and informed me that it was a recommendation she usually gave to her ethnic clients, as well. Score for Heather for being proactive! I first got a lash lift that left my lashes the exact same as when I walked in. Since I had another gift card, I figured I could come back and ask for the solutions to be left on for longer and possibly a different rod, but again the service just didn't work. Luckily I was given a discount without asking. I tried their dermaplaning service which was great and didn't disturb my skin at all. Lastly, I decided to give the mini mask a try. I have quite dry skin and thought this would be a simple solution for my concerns. However, I developed 2 really large and pus filled breakouts on each side of my face the next day. Unfortunately, it would have been better for me to stick to my routine at home. I can't say I would recommend these specific services. As a side note I was also a tad frustrated when I explained I was experiencing some acne since starting birth control (a common side effect listed for many different forms) and was told that was probably a coincidence and asked if I was washing my pillow cases enough by one of the estheticians. I was hoping that with skincare experts, I wouldn't have to explain that hormonal changes affect your skin.

The techs here are great, you get what you ask for which is all anyone would want. I have gotten almost every single service here but the one that I do on a consistent basis is my nose (I don't know what it is but I need that done lol). I always have a different tech and I think this most recent time I got Anette (?) and she was just awesome. I walked in there and said I want it all gone, every single hair lol and she made sure to get every single one. I think I've gotten so many nose waxes at this point that I am immune to pain but I've never had any issues. The store is clean and cute, always smells good. I've never had any issues. If you are having booking issues.. just call them, it makes it so much easier. The online tool is convenient but not easy to edit (in my opinion) and calling just always is a safe bet.
