Absolutely atrocious customer experience for my mother's birthday today. 1) Failed to deliver flowers early in the day as scheduled 2) When I called at 3pm, they said the flowers are to be delivered i afternoon. I continued asking what time and then the older woman on the phone hung up on me 3) I called back and then she said I am in her way holding up another order I will never order from this place again and strongly encourage you to look elsewhere, unless you're ok with delayed service and a bad attitude. read more

Unfortunately this shop was chosen from an online company. I placed 2 orders and one is missing and who knows where it is. When delivered the bell was never rung. This is a deluxe version! What was suppose to be a special delivery became an awful experience....thanks for ruining it! read more

Ordered flowers for my wife to be delivered on our anniversary. Flowers never arrived. I tried calling the number on the website but was met with an immediate full voicemail box. Could not even leave a message. On top of that, the voicemail greeting was just a persons name. No indication I was even calling a business. I tried sending an email and got no response. I tried for two days to get in touch with someone but my efforts were wasted. Almost a $100 order that I now have to go through my credit card company to dispute. I called today from out of state to have a plant with pretty blossoms sent to a cousin. Ruth described what she had on hand and it was delivered the same day. I ordered a birthday bouquet a week before it was to be delivered and they still couldn't get it delivered on the right day even though I spoke with them. It was VERY disappointing and they rarely answer their phone, had major confusion with the order. Never offered a refund or discount. I gave my payment info and was informed the order was accepted and would be delivered to 230 Kittredge St. in Roslindale on the 14th . I spoke with my daughter today, the 15th and she said no flowers were delivered and no note was left informing that they could not deliver the flowers. DO NOT GO THERE! I ordered online, then call the store to make a switch of bouquet. The lady review my order and tells me they do not deliver there and will not be charged for an order that THEY cancelled. I thought, well, I am glad I called otherwise, I would have never knew my friends did not received the flowers! I find Albert's Of Brookline - albertsbrooklineflorist.com (which have a great customer service/delivery). A day later, Birch flower shop delivered the bouquet THEY cancelled!!! That is without telling me about it!! CRAZY! So, they changed their minds and just go ahead without telling me anything?!? I called them and the lady over the phone just made no sense whatsoever. Ordered a beautiful plant, for a terrific friend who passed away. I ordered it through Bloom Today. Well what I ordered is NOT what I saw at the funeral home. I was disgusted to see a wilted planet in a basket, which looked dead. Not very appropiate for a sympathy gesture. I was heartbroken seeing it and pissed off. I do not recommend this flower shop to others. I called requesting that flowers be sent to a relative for her birthday. The flowers did not arrive to her until the day after her birthday, and they were of bad quality. They have a call center that take calls during the hours they are not open, and when you leave a message with them, they do not relay the message to the flower shop. We paid for the best quality they offer on their website, but that was not what was delivered. read more

Worst experience ever. I ordered flowers for my fiancé's birthday. The delivery person came late in the evening. Furthermore the flowers addressed to someone else. This is the best flower shop. I was referred to Ruth at the Birch Street Flower shop in Roslindale by my mom, Betty, who uses her services whenever sending special occasion bouquets. I often use my Amex concierge service for ordering flowers for the convenience; but this time, I listened to my mom who is a life long resident of Roslindale. I ordered a bouquet for a wake that had to be delivered by 4 pm start time for same day delivery. Ruth asked what I would like for an arrangement. I acquiesced to Ruth's expertise as I am not a flower specialist. I told her the amount I wanted to spend and was I shocked when I entered the wake and saw them. They were gorgeous! A much larger than I anticipated with all types of beautiful flowers. It was very full and fresh looking beautiful combination of roses and carnations and so many plants I don't even know the name of. The price was extremely reasonable. I will recommend Ruth to all of my family, friends, and clients who need to send flowers for any occasion! I would post a picture but didn't feel it appropriate to take a picture at a wake. I was really disappointed with my experience. We ordered flowers online, and they never showed up. They sent us a very unprofessional email to let us know that they wouldn't deliver on July 4th, but gave us no information about when they would deliver the flowers. When they hadn't come in the next few days, we called to ask for a refund. Later that night, we looked at our credit card statement, expecting to see the refund, and they had actually charged us again! Horrible customer service. read more
