The next morning we patronized the little breakfast room and the food items they offered were just perfect. The staff operating the breakfast room replenished the foods regularly, making for fresh and hot choices. The prices here are more family friendly than those in the Frankenmuth downtown area. The bedding was nice and the beds were perfectly adequate for a short visit. Nice experience here, and we'd not hesitate to stay again when we return.

The Frontenac, Petite Pearl, Marquette were my favorites by far. But my five stars isn't for the wine, it's for the sheer joy this place brings me. Absolutely beautiful campus with sheep and goats and a big white furball of a dog who looks so adorable but is trained to kill any possible threat to his wards. They were all very good and a few were quite unique. My favorite was the Marquette Double Barrel. We ended up buying 3 different bottles during our visit. Diane is an amazing host; upon arrival she walks you through to the room and explains the whole house layout. Excellent for groups we stayed along with my aunt and cousin. Our room was cozy and the themes robbers roost and Canterbury tales added to the character of the house. The little details in every inch of this place from the complimentary bottle of wine to the coffee and tea varieties available speak to the hospitality of our gracious host.
