The woman on the phone was very nice and sympathetic to our situation. When we arrived, there was someone there to greet us and tell us the history of the house, and a short tour. She showed us to our room and offered to help us with our bags. The house is so beautiful down to the last details. Very quiet and peaceful. The bed was so comfortable, I sank in when I layed down, it was great. Sheets were super soft, however polyester, so it was hard to keep cool at night, as they didn't breathe. Breakfast was served at 9 am, a plated breakfast at individual tables. It was nice, that way I could just have a semi private breakfast with my husband. We will definitely stay again! Angie is an excellent cook, and she made some savory steaks on the grill. My husband is a coffee connoisseur, and he said it was the best coffee that he'd ever had. Angie and her mother are such welcoming and gracious hostesses. We didn't spend the night, but I would love to go and stay sometime. Location is terrific, prices are reasonable, and Myra is just a wonderful host. I recently went to Frankenmuth with my wife and 6 mo. old to meet up with both sets of grandparents for a weekend of fun and excitement. Leading up to the trip it was my job to find us a place to stay. All hotels within walking distance to Main St. are ~$200 each night where this B & B was much, much lower. There were 3 bedrooms and we were able to get all 3 for the visit which worked out perfectly. There is one bath upstairs but an emergency one on the main floor that is considered Myra's but she typically doesn't mind. There is also a nice 2nd story patio that was really relaxing at night and during the early morning hours. Myra provides all the fixings that a typical B & B provides but for those big breakfast types, there are places within walking distance to eat. I WILL be back staying at Tuscola B & B, just when is the question. Everyone in our party were very satisfied and are hoping that next year will work out for each side of the family.

The location is perfect for exploring all that Frankenmuth has to offer without staying right in the middle of town. It's a short and easy drive to town. I really enjoyed seeing the before and after photos of the property--Alice and her husband have worked hard to create a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Our room had an en-suite full bath and I was impressed by the instant hot water available even though we were on the second floor. There is a mini refrigerator in the hallway stocked with water and seltzer for all guests. The coffee nook downstairs is well stocked and has everything you need for a cup of tea, cocoa, or coffee. Alice welcomed us with fresh baked cookies, which was such a nice treat! Breakfast was excellent, especially the quiche and bacon!
