Now in it's newer location, nothing has changed. The staff is always friendly and likes to joke around and share their knowledge of music. The celebrity visits to the store and local radio station events still make this a great place to visit. I could spend HOURS in this place and discover new, old and local talent and different genres of music. It can only get expensive when you pick up various items out of excitement :) The prices of their CDs are a little higher than places like Best Buy but it's always great to support your local record store from time to time.

A nightmare experience working with Furnace Records. Communication has been poor from the start…read more They recently brought cutting and plating in-house, and it's been a disaster. We can't even get past the test pressing stage. The test pressings we received were terrible--clearly not inspected, and when we raised concerns, our rep admitted the QC person had been fired. Seriously? I asked if they could have Record Industry handle the cutting and plating--like they used to when I last worked with Furnace--but instead, our rep said the entire project was being transferred to Record Industry. When I asked what role Furnace would play now, I was told they would only package and ship the records that RI presses. On top of that, I now have to place the order directly with Record Industry. Record Industry doesn't offer the same vinyl variants that we already sold for preorder. I placed my original order with Furnace Records back in February 2025, and now it's July 2025 with no resolution in sight. I was warned not to press with Furnace again, and I regret not listening. This process has been stressful, frustrating, and incredibly disappointing. Their quality control and customer service are abysmal. I highly recommend pressing elsewhere. And if you must use Furnace, do yourself a favor and hire an outside engineer for cutting and plating.

Consumer Alert - Do not use Furnace Record Pressing. Hands down the worst experience with a…read morepressing plant I have ever had. The first set of test pressings had large amounts of pops and ticks and were rejected. The second set of test pressings didn't show up until SIX MONTHS LATER, were Out-of-Round (off center) and still had all the previous pops and clicks. Furnace Record Pressings now refuses to refund my money, saying the warble sounding pressings with pops and clicks is within their tolerance. The delays alone made me miss the holiday season. The project has now been set back a year. I run a small label and am not an a-hole, I was super patient with Furnace and have never experienced this type of treatment from any supplier. For some reason the excellent pressing plant Pallas in Germany has partnered with Furnace I have apprised them of this situation. Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Buyer Beware…read more I am extremely disappointed by my experience at Vision Christian Store. What should have been a simple return turned into an unnecessarily unpleasant interaction with the owner. The most frustrating part is that the store did not honor its own return policy as it was clearly printed on my receipt. I relied on the policy provided by the business when making my purchase, only to be told something completely different when I attempted to return a pair of gloves. If a business chooses to print a return policy on its receipt, customers should reasonably be able to expect that policy to be honored and all exclusions to be included in the receipt. Rather than handling the situation professionally, the owner (Robert) was rude, dismissive, and argumentative. He made it seem like he couldn't afford to perform the return. To make matters worse, he complained about how as a brick and mortar store, it was difficult for the store to compete with online retailers. I found that particularly ironic considering that the item I was attempting to return had actually been purchased from a beauty supply store, not an online retailer. He even advised that I go there instead. As a small business, I understand that competing with larger retailers can be challenging. But blaming customers or becoming confrontational when they simply expect you to follow your own stated return policy is not the way to build customer loyalty. I was able to find two pair of gloves for the price of one. Who wouldn't attempt to return the originals Being a Christian bookstore makes the experience even more disappointing. Customers should not have to wonder whether they will be treated with basic courtesy, honesty, and respect when they walk through the door. I would strongly encourage the owner to review the store's return policy, make sure employees and management are following it consistently, and reconsider how customers are treated when they raise a legitimate concern. Or better yet include the specific items on the receipt that are not eligible for return or place signage in the area so there are no questions: I will not be returning, and based on this experience, I cannot recommend this business. A business cannot expect customers to support it while simultaneously refusing to honor the policies it gives those same customers in writing.
