The food was good and they have a wide selection of chicken sandwiches. This is a nice new location in northern CO Springs. I'm trying to eat healthier, so I ordered the Thai themed salad. It was excellent, and big enough for two meals. However, I was disappointed when I found the butt end of a romaine lettuce head in the salad. They need to throw that part out! This is a bit far from my home but when I get down in Powers, I love to eat at Bird Call. Food is always fresh and hot. Suggestion/ I can see many at those kiosk areas ordering and it can be confusing especially for older folks. I'd suggest there be some one or a sign saying "you can have an associate order your food if you'd like" and maybe the customer rings a bell to get an associate to order the customer's food. I wish this restaurant existed where I live in Nevada. The chicken was so juicy and the tots and fries were delicious sides. The restaurant was clean and aesthetic. I loved that they had Spongebob episodes on the TV and an arcade game table for the kiddos and the kiddos at heart. My sis introduced me to the chain in North Texas, so imagine my delight when I saw on their website (which is where you should order from, btw) that they had a location just up the street from me in CO. I've admittedly never ordered in person or via the drive thru. Instead, I always order online for pickup, and 99% of the time, I've received a text that it's waiting for me in my numbered cubby by the time I arrive. I've also ordered alcoholic drinks, which are VERY strong and come with a fun sticker covering the top. The inside is modern, sleek, and welcoming. I especially love the bathroom decor. I stopped during breakfast time and got a chicken biscuit. On the good side, the chicken was hot and seemed fresh. It was juicy. My only complaint was that the breading seemed super salty. Came here with my wife for lunch. The food was delicious. It is a bit pricy. You pay for everything separately. Sandwich, drinks, sides. 2 sandwiches tots, fries, and two drinks was almost $40. I downloaded the app and when I ordered in store the worker told me that the app and in-store account do not talk to each other. You get a $5 coupon when you sign up for the app, but you have to order through the app to redeem the coupon. Very clean restaurant. They do serve alcohol also. My family and I visited for the first time and overall we enjoyed the food. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming. However, we did have an issue with the margarita. After ordering it, we were told it was on the way, but it never arrived. We eventually had to ask again and even stand up to follow up on it. When someone finally brought it out, we realized it was not a freshly made margarita but something from a tap. It did not taste like a real margarita at all. We each took one sip and left it untouched. We considered saying something, but the staff seemed very busy in the back and we couldn't clearly identify who the manager was. Rather than create a scene, we just left it and accepted the charge. I would recommend the food, and my husband's beer was perfectly fine. My lemonade was also good. Food - Chicken Tenders: 5/5 I have no idea what they put in their chicken tenders but they've got me hooked. Every time I crave chicken, I think about the chicken tenders from Birdcall. Even though they are fried, the tenders are juicy, succulent and doesn't taste oily and the meat to fried breading ratio is fantastic. They give you your beverages and then you wait for your order. You see it in real time up in a screen and then when it's ready you go pick it up at this window. You order your food from a screen at the counter and then you're placed in a queue, that you watch on a screen for your order to be complete. The screen tells you which number shelf your order is at. We had the Nashville hot (regular) and it was hot! I mean like the hot that I don't even enjoy because I can't taste the next few bites. I can't imagine how hot extra hot is! Have a lot of water close, unless your heat tolerance is up there. The grilled chicken caesar was good. I liked it, but wish the flavor had just a little more oomph. The Buffalo was the best, in my opinion. The flavor of the blue cheese slaw was so good on it. We tried the tater tots. They were just okay. The chicken strips were a good size and had really good flavor. We liked the birdbque sauce the best. We also tried the aioli. If you're a chick fil a fan, this chicken doesn't have as much breading. There may also be less meat. If you were to weigh the breasts, I bet that this would fall short but it didn't leave me hungry. We will definitely be back! read more

First, the inside is definitely giving a modern vibe, which initially was interesting. You order unassisted on a kiosk screen (well designed graphics/program and there are physical menus handy too). Once your order is placed, then walk over and see your name on the queue with a countdown. When your order is ready, you pick it up at the numbered cubby. Unfortunately, the inside looked like a toddler's play area that hadn't been cleaned. It was just kind of yuck. The floors were sticky in random spots and tables/chairs had crumbs. It was very unkept. We ordered a sandwich meal and Mediterranean salad. I really wasn't impressed. For the price, it didn't make the cut for me, taste-wise. I understand healthier choices like GF are more pricey so I don't fault them for pricing things accordingly in this economy. In fact, I was glad healthier options are offered. This place looked so unique, and I'm a sucker tor chicken strips! I was surprised with how dark the chicken was, but it was packed with flavor. It's definitely well seasoned. I also thought maybe it would be spicy due to the color, but it was not, thankfully. The tater tots were such a nice touch and great side to the chicken. They had a nice seasoning to them like truffle, it wasn't overpowering and tasted great. Their special birdcall sauce is amazing! I do wish you could get more without being charged extra.
