Ranch, bacon and cheddar chicken salad! Yum! They have a chicken salad for everybody's taste buds! Such a unique idea! You can have the chicken salad as a scoop, 2 scoops or a sandwich! They also have turkey sandwiches and bacon sandwich sandwiches.. and lots of other items on their menu! Their cold teas are very good as well! The service was very good! We ended up passing after coming in to order for lunch. The first staff member was nice and helpful. She was succinct but not short with us. Clearly also busy getting other orders ready and such. The next one to come to the counter wouldn't let my mother finish her sentences when trying to ask a question and wasted her own time repeating what the first one had told us. She then called the next person in line (who had just arrived - like 30 seconds ago) while we were standing there ready to order. She came off with even more of an attitude when we took exception. I walked out so I wouldn't get overly nasty to her. I might come back some time and give it another go. Hopefully the rude lady slows down and shows some grace for folks like my mom in the future. Hi. My first visit here was Friday night and it was amazing! The food was so good. Sweet staff. The next day I came back to have my sister and wife try it I ended up ordered the same thing. The bacon cheddar melt and what a disappointment. It took 20 minutes for our order and my croissant was Burned. So that wasn't eaten. Your food is delicious, but not consistent. For a place with no other customers my food should not have looked like this. There were literally no other people ordering in that time. read more

To be honest I thought the Mac n Cheese was the best part of the meal. The sandwich was hastily thrown together and all messed up. One big chunk of chicken salad was mashed into my croissant. The Classic Carol salad tasted quite dry, and lacked flavor. The lettuce and tomato were slapped on one side of my sandwich. My team was in Colorado for a big week long tournament. We took the girls to Garden of the Gods and definitely needed lunch after! One of our coaches suggested Chicken Salad Chick. I had never heard of it but was intrigued. I ordered the Sassy Scotty with the grape salad with brown sugar. My friend told me what side to get and let me tell you, I was definitely hesitant. But the sandwich was so good!! The salad itself was super flavorful. The bread was a little over toasted in my opinion but it was still good. The grape salad is sweet, would be a good dessert. I feel like half of their serving was plenty for me personally. Some of our girls ordered the mac n cheese (said it was bomb) and their soup (said it was spicy). The restaurant is very cute and cozy, with a homey feel. It's also very spacious and clean with plenty of seating available. The menu can be quite overwhelming with their many chicken salad options. However, we were told you can sample any chicken salad before ordering. I got a Trio Plate with Kickin' Kay Lynne chicken salad, egg salad, and broccoli salad-- and it was very disappointing. The egg salad had been pulverized, as it looked more like egg mousse than egg salad. It had an oddly sweet flavor and lacked seasoning, in my opinion. The Kickin' Kay Lynne is made with buffalo sauce, ranch, bacon, jalapeños, and sriracha. However, this chicken salad did not have a spicy flavor and tasted very bland. And it definitely did not taste like buffalo sauce or sriracha. My husband ordered the Chicken Salad BLT sandwich with the Sassy Scotty chicken salad, which is made with ranch, bacon, and cheese. Although the sandwich was good, the chicken salad did not taste like it had bacon in it and was also very bland. The real stars of the show were the sides. The grape salad, with the cream cheese dressing and brown sugar on top was divine! That was our favorite. The broccoli salad was also good, tasted fresh, and was dressed nicely. And we loved that our meals came with a cute little cookie! It was very buttery and soft. Although the staff was very friendly and attentive, I doubt that we would return. A friend is familiar with this Auburn, Alabama-based southern chain, and she suggested we check it out on a Thursday evening. We arrived to a brand new, sparkling restaurant with cute table cloths and flowers on each table plus a large side patio. Upon entering, laminated menus greet you as you walk along a corridor that leads to the cashier counters. Similar to Panera, you walk up, place your order, and receive a number so your meal can be brought to you. There is also a grab-and-go option (I would recommend this). The cashiers--all three of them--were eager to take our order, but we explained that I was still perusing the menu. My friend pointed out the many menu offerings, which mostly consist of various forms of chicken salad or pimento cheese. We both ordered the two-scoop special--she got a veggie salad on the side and I simply had the cranberry chicken salad and a spicy (jalapeño) pimento cheese scoop, which I combined. Very tasty, though not sure it was worth the wait and $30 with no drinks. Despite the glut of young cashiers and no line, it seems there might not be anyone working in the kitchen scooping out the pre-made salads because it took 30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. Chalk it up to growing pains--the restaurant has only been open for fewer than two weeks. Neither of us ordered a drink (I was told the lemonade is not freshly made in house, so I had to pass); I did ask for water but didn't receive a water cup. While I might return, it's more likely I'll just choose an item from the fridge up front to avoid the long wait. read more

I was thankful to get to come to the friends and family preview for lunch today. Lovely people, fantastic menu! It was so hard to choose- they have so many yummy sounding options! I had Olivia's Old South (chicken salad with sweet pickles and egg) as a BLT sandwich on a croissant, and also got a scoop of the Fancy Nancy (which has apples, grapes and pecans). Delicious! You can get scoops that come with crackers or make it into a sandwich. They have soups as well. My friend enjoyed her Fruity Fran which has apples, grapes and pineapples. From classic recipes to more innovative combinations ( savory, fruity & nutty, spicy, cheesy) there is something to please every palate. You can ask for a sample of salad to try. During our visit, we opted for their Cranberry Kelli, Olivia's Old South, Fancy Nancy and Lauryn's Lemon Basil chicken salads. My faves are Fancy Nancy and Cranberry Kelli (both fruity and nutty). The ingredients were fresh (made from scratch). The grape salad was superb, I recommend you try it!. The mac n' cheese was just okay. While I enjoyed the taste and quality of their dishes, I couldn't help but notice a couple of drawbacks, particularly when it came to serving size and pricing. We were very excited to have a new restaurant in the area that was different than just burgers and fries. We have been coming here since they opened. The food does not disappoint and the people behind the counter are friendly. We order carryout as we do not live far from the restaurant. Tried this for the first time a couple days ago. I got a Lauryn's lemon basil and pasta salad. It was a little heavy in the basil for me but still delicious. Loved how the pasta salad didn't have a bunch of vinegar flavor. My husband had the Sassy Scotty made it into a club and broccoli salad. He really loved it and the broccoli salad he couldn't stop talking about. The staff were super helpful explaining the menu and giving recommendations of what we might like. I am so disappointed. Really wanted to like this place. First they got the order wrong. Put tomatoes on sammie when I said no tomatoes due to an allergy. The croissant was dry and stale. The chicken salad was good. Extremely dry sandwich. Ate just the chicken salad. We had mac and cheese as the side it was lukewarm warm and tasted like pure Velveeta Cheese.
