I picked the concha and my husband got the pineapple empanada! We ordered a bit of everything. My husbands go to meal always is chilaquiles. So he ordered the DIVORCIADOS $16.50 Half green and half red with carne asada and beans. We also got the CARNE EN SU JUGO $15.99 And I got the MENUDO ROJO $15.50 Let me start off by saying everything was amazing! It all tasted like it was homemade! Perfectly seasoned, with hand made tortillas. The carne en su jugo was really good! I understand why they are known for that dish. I loved my Menudo! I was craving it and it was perfect. The chilaquiles, the chips weren't soggy, they still had a bite to them. The sauces had so much flavor! My husband and I left with full bellies and a big smile on our faces! All the waitresses and waiters were so nice! Diego was telling us the story of the restaurant. Which was nice to hear. All family owned. Hopefully they open another restaurant closer to us!!! It was delicious, filling, and definitely lived up to its size. The salsa bar was another standout, with four or five different salsas to choose from, and every one I tried was good. It's definitely on the expensive side, so it may not fit everyone's budget. That said, I've always said I'm willing to pay more for a burrito that's actually full, and Sayulitas delivered. The portion, flavor, and quality made it worth the price. I'll definitely be back.
