They are supporting rec users become MEDICAL, they will have access to OUR ALREADY LIMITED MED INVENTORY. MANY OTHER REASONS. It's being PROMOTED in the store when you walk in- One of the reasons the sign states compares MED taxes vs REC taxes. It was at 12:26 on 4/30- TODAY. Today a woman walked fast to get inside before me, I didn't care. She got in the REC line- She is NOT a medical patients. She is a recreational cannabis user not being used as medication your doctors want you to try or take. The guy was rude and not helpful at all about my capsule questions and was just rushing. As I walked away I saw the REC lady walk right up to him, the MEDICAL PATIENT said something about it, I did not hear what she said, but she said something. The REC lady said no I've been waiting, it was about 3 minutes. THE EMPLOYEE SAID- YEAH SHE'S BEEN WAITING LONGER. THAT'S NOT THE POINT OF A MEDICAL LINE OR MEDICAL CANNABIS. To SELL MORE, you're PROMOTING people WITHOUT THE HEALTH NEEDS FOR IT TO get a MEDICAL CARD for savings and to dip into your SMALL POT OF MED INVENTORY AS IS. I've since I received that email, switched to CURALEAF in NEW LENOX- They are VERY helpful, never rush, DO NOT treat MEDICAL patients differently, and many other things but I'm tiring of typing. **I've only. been there if I NEED a product they DON'T have. 2018-2026 I've used 3C and then RISE. I am super disappointed as a med patient- I jumped through hoops to get my medical card and my doctor and that process is very expensive, and obviously insurance does not cover a dime. Fingerprints, mini photo, background check ETC. I'll never return UNLESS I can't find a product I need ANYWHERE else. Rise Joliet is really getting bad. I entered the town of Joliet after several run ins with very bad guys of no integrity kicking my ass and kicking me out for no other reason than me being strongly happy in my education, religion and personality. I never really took the Pace bus for anything besides going to see a boy I met ...so I thought, why don't I take the Pace bus to meet some people who knows about weed and gives me a receipt for my purchase? I have nothing but receipts to represent my activity and day to day...I trust that I will be fairly treated as a consumer and citizen so I continue to patronize cannabis stores for the engagement and safe keeping. Well let's start on convenience. After being told the specific route on the bus through google, I then got on to notice that the bus gives no announcement about where tf youre at. Being new to this town, I don't really know my surroundings to truly know where I am, so an announcement of stops would be helpful. So, I missed the stop before and got off sooner the next time and then the third time, I stood near the driver and inquired about where to go. The driver was very helpful, so I appreciate that. When I arrived at my stop near the Mcdonald's, I noticed that Wendy's was near my destination through another peek at google and thought "dang, I should have eaten a jr. bacon cheeseburger instead of this McDouble"...I sighed, got up and crossed the intersection to get to Rise. Once I got inside. I was warmly greeted at the entrance where a security guard was patrolling and smiling cashier was servicing. After she received my identification, I went inside to order from the kiosk. I declined the help since I am familiar with the process at other dispensaries and order a hybrid popcorn flower which was divine. I partake in cannabis because I'm a loner...and then I partake in cannabis because I'm a friend zoner. I've been coming to Ivy Hall since they first opened back in June 2023.  You can find them on Route 53 & Lily Cache Ln in the space formerly occupied by Golden Chopsticks (a beloved Chinese restaurant). The staff here are friendly and knowledgeable.   Placing an order online is fastest, but you can also browse in-store via large touchscreens.  They've got glassware and other accessories on shelves gently illuminated by pink neon signs.  My wife said she really liked the energy here, and she's very perceptive at picking up on vibes. Depending on the week, I'll usually pick up a 1/2 gram cart with fun terpenes; Fernway is my favorite brand and their "white widow" hybrid is pretty terrific.  In the past, I've also purchased a pre-roll 2pk and 7g of flower (a 'quad', IFKYK) at very fair prices. It's definitely worth signing up for their points system - I once spun their prize wheel at the Taste of Bolingbrook and won $15 worth of store credit!  They also have new customer deals, end-of-month sales, and seasonal promotions so there's always an opportunity to save $$. * TL;DR * Ivy Hall stocks a wide variety of things that can send you to outer space.
