I spent my brief weekend in Bisbee trying to check out all the hottest nightlife spots. While I didn't get to everything, Bisbee Social Club was by far my favorite--I even went twice! During the day, it's a hip hangout with plenty of craft beers and a limited menu of bar food. At night, it's a whole different experience. You can expect a dance floor with limited seating. I accidentally stumbled upon the second floor--a modest arcade with a vending machine, which was the perfect place to chill out. It really did feel like a social club up here since I met people from all across Arizona and beyond. What a gem--it's good to know you can have fun late at night around here. read more

Love this little hole in the wall... or should I say below the street? It's giving speech easy without being difficult to find- even though you could walk right past it if you weren't looking for it. Honestly the perfect kind of bar. The decor inside is dimly lit but still super welcoming... lots of cool art and plenty of board games to play with friends. There is a backseating area with a stage where they have live music regularly. The drinks were delicious, well priced, and served quickly! We sat at the bar since we were the only ones there at the time - and the bartender was super friendly and suggested some good places to stop around town. The mini arcade upstairs is officially open! They have a pretty random assortment of pinball, basketball, foosball, and yes even beer pong. Plus a couple other random arcade games, many of which are even free! Totally worth stopping in even if you're just hanging out or want a good mocktail after the copper mine tour! read more

We came in for drinks and live music. We came in ten minutes before their 9pm performers. My husband ordered Pilsner and I got a glass of zinfandel. I loved their decor. A very chill, yet romantic vibe. We only stayed for an hour but that's because I was tired since I was out walking all day. We'll definitely return next time we're out in Bisbee. I stumbled across the Bisbee Social Club walking down Main Street, I didn't know what it was. When we went in, it was pretty empty for Saturday night, we didn't mind. There was a live band playing, they were amazing. The walls are covered in adult content, and prohibition photographs. It was like a miniature museum, it was so cool. Where the band was was a bit dark and if your claustrophobic you might've felt that way but I found it very intimate. There is a large bar, lots of seating room. Lots of tables. Even a sofa and a big screen which wasn't playing anything at the time. There is one pool table as well. I could see this place being very hot in the summertime, I wasn't aware of any sort of heating or cooling mechanisms. It's definitely one of my top five favorite places in Bisbee now. I can't wait to go back and see what new bands they have. read more

We walked by this place during the day and after checking it out on Yelp knew we wanted to check it out that evening. Cool vibe, great use of the space, looks like a great addition to this downtown area but our experience was terrible. On our visit we sat at the bar I was early In the evening and there was a group of 4 on the other side of the bar, the bartender was chatting with them. She took my bfs order & went back to chatting with that group (apparently they were all bartenders at a "resort" in Tucson). It took like 15 min to get his whiskey neat. She took my order as she dropped off his and went back to chat with that group. 10min later I get my drink. It felt like we were bothering her. Another guy joins us at the bar and left after one beer after being ignored . The stories the bartender & this customer group were telling (shake my head) from what alcohol sucks, then they started comparing stories of calling the cops on customers. Mind you the bar is open for business and this bartender is telling stories about calling the cops on customers just to fit in with this group, they were seriously trying to out do each other. There were stories of being cited for not carding someone who looked underage. They talked about who their alcohol vendor /sales rep was and what a terrible job they were doing. The conversation was loud, the bar was not packed and it was so off putting. We tried to get her attention to pay and one of that group told her we wanted something.. she forgot we were still there. I've been here twice, but never on the weekends, they have mixed drinks, but no neer on tap and I'm not sure they have beer at all. The ambiance is kool vibe, mix of people come in and everyone is nice. The bartenders are kool as well and the service was great. I need to come on a weekend I think they have bands or some kind of show at times. Checked out this place a couple times while we were in town. The vibe was cool. The place was packed. Blueberry Black Jam was a band that played one night and they were great. There's no AC (like many places) but it was super hot in there. The bartenders were fairly slow but friendly. Will def go back. read more

Our AirBnb host had this place listed as a "favorite" so we decided to grab an early drink while waiting for our takeout food to be done at Cafe Roka. Good call! Others have mentioned a "speakeasy" feel which is pretty accurate. It's dark, cozy and our bartender was very friendly. I stuck with some very nice wine but the gents had some very nice Old Fashioneds and tasty Polish beers. They seemed to be doing a good job with Covid protocols - other patrons were respectful and seating was well spaced. As a bonus, there's a candy jar at the bar! We came here on Sat Oct 1 after a late haunted tour of Bisbee. There were only 2 bars still open in town. Iris was awesome and made us love this bar. She experimented with gin drinks and helped me find one I liked. My favorite was a bee's knees with lavender. The jello shots were really good as well. The Bisbee Social Club takes the cake for our favorite spot in Bisbee. While walking the streets, we stumbled upon the little cocktail delivery door and intrigued tried to enter the club. Turns out the owners, Melisa and Joseph, were closing up for the night but still invited us in. They were so welcoming and friendly that our "quick drink" turned into a night of sharing stories and learning all about the history of Bisbee and their time here. Besides the great people, BSC offers guests a fun speakeasy style atmosphere with live music and a vast selection of beers and spirits. The music was nicely diverse and between the cocktail door and London phone booth inside, it's the perfect spot for some great photo ops. This was a rare Yelp miss for me. We were in Bisbee looking for some good drinks to start our adventure in town, and this was by far the most recommended spot. We ordered a couple of margaritas, which the bartender seemed a little annoyed about. I'm not sure what happened, but they were absolutely terrible- I couldn't even drink mine. We left to go find a beer elsewhere The two stars are for the place itself- very cool venue. I had a little trouble finding the bathroom in the wall hedge, which is part of the fun- very whimsical. The only thing missing from this speakeasy is a door with a slider panel with a guy asking fir a password. This club has got to be the best place in bisbee to go. Drinks are well poured. At first glance the bar is a little intimidating as it is downstairs and you're not quite sure what you're descending into... But it quickly became my favorite spot in town. Great people hanging out (even a country music star randomly showed up and strummed a couple tunes for a us) and great bartenders. Husband and I were in town for Valentines weekend, and popped in here. It is Valentines Day/night, which happens to fall on a Sunday, so it wasn't very busy at all. "Dash" the bartender mixed up a delicious (strong!) Raspberry martini for me, and a Valentines Special drink (somewhere between an Old Fashioned and a Manhattan) for the hubs....both were delicious. Fun, friendly vibe, it is karaoke night (I'll overlook that piece, lol!) bit a super cool, funky, little modern "speakeasy" on Bisbee's main Street. I really love all of the sensual, black and white Boudreau photos throughout, such beautiful portrayals of the female body. If you are in town, give it a try! There isn't any actual food (they did have a meat and cheese plate available from one of the local shops, which was amazing and love that the businesses are supporting one another), but the BTC(Bisbee Tour Company) will actually deliver food here allegedly!! We stopped by while walking around in Bisbee. They have a nice little to go window where they were serving up some very refreshing mixed drinks for an evening stroll. I stayed in the Bisbee Grand hotel (next door) and for two nights the music from the social club was absolutely blasting long after they were closed. We let it go on Sunday night but Monday night the walls were still shaking at 3:30am (they closed at 11) we called the police at that point but when they arrived at 4 the music has just stopped and the employees has left. I am not a call the police kind of person but no one would answer the door or phone (sure they couldn't hear it) and we didn't know what else to do. My kids were also up the entire night and we could hear everyone above us awake from it- most people were there to cycle so they must've been miserable all weekend. The next day I tracked down the manger who also works at the Bisbee Grand and her response was "well sorry they were deep cleaning and we aren't affiliated with the hotel" so I guess they don't care about their neighborhood, place of employment , or noise ordinances. I hope the owner knows what kind of person is running the show here and looks into what is actually going on after hours at this place. We had to cancel all of our plans because we were exhausted. They completely ruined our trip. read more
