This was such an awesome event hosted by Playstudios. I received this as a comped reward for playing on their gaming apps. The ship's staff was so amazing and the food was delicious. There were about 100 guests plus maybe five hosts from the gaming company. There were passed appetizers before dinner and so much food. One level had a dance floor and good music. They even had my husband dancing. They took us around the Miami harbor area, but I was too distracted talking to the fellow game players to pay attention. This would be a great place for an event. There's plenty of inside space and never felt cramped. read more

Four hours felt short. That's the review honestly but I'll give you more. We did a private family charter on the Recess Sport Yacht and the Miami River portion alone made the whole thing worth it. I didn't know that waterway existed the way it does until we were on it. It runs right through the heart of downtown and everything is happening around you at once. The crew navigated it so confidently and they were just genuinely lovely people the whole time. After the river we were out in the open bay past Star Island, the celebrity estates right there on the water, and that skyline. I've spent a lot of time on the water. Grew up in Hawaii, lived in La Jolla for decades, been to Monaco. This experience has its own category. My kids are 14 and 23 and they talked about it for days. I was on a dinner cruise two nights ago. The dinner choices had been pre-selected by our host. We did not know what those selections were however and the dinner settings did not include the ubiquitous menu cards. Perhaps that was the responsibility of the hosts? The real issue was the food however. Apparently we sat at the wrong table because after salads our main course took over 90mins to arrive. Every other table around us had their dinner so long that they finished eating and the tables had been bussed but no food for us. No explanation or update on what if anything would be coming. When we finally did receive food (steak and salmon) the steak was essentially raw. It was cold in the middle. Nobody ate it. Such a disappointment. read more

Love the yacht! My company hosted our Christmas party on the Venetian Lady and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and helped us find it on the pier. The set up for party was nice and we had the Floridian menu for the buffet option and that was very tasty. We also had open bar with premium liquor so the drinks and food were flowing while we sailed around Biscayne bay and took in the views for the evening. I worked with Morgan at Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters for several weeks, she was very patient with all of our changes and requests. We had a work group of 20 taking a sunset dinner cruise. I met her a little before the group boarded the yacht to give me the names of our POC's on the yacht. First, we were greeted with champagne when the group boarded. The yacht team was so welcoming and friendly. The food was perfect!! We dined the night before at a well known, historical restaurant and the food on the yacht was SO much better. I was even told by many of my group that the food was better. The yacht was awesome, it was clean and it was comfortable. I would charter with Biscayne Lady Charters a 100 times over!! It could not have been a better experience for everyone. I believe one of my bosses said he was "flabbergasted" about how everything turned out. HUGE FAN!!! Recently booked the Biscayne Lady for 200 guests for an evening out on the water. It was very simple to book and plan...clear and concise! The yacht is AMAZING!! New and beautiful. The staff is super friendly. The chef is wonderful and ALL the food is superb!!! I was afraid it would be a trade off and would be disappointed with the food, but I was pleasantly surprised!! The tasting was great and recommend all the food! Jay the coordinator was fantastic. He is on top of it all. And the prices are VERY reasonable. These are con artists. We originally signed a contract with them for an event last year during COVID. Ever vendor we dealt with refunded our money except them. We now picked a date with them but they want me to pay 3 times the price saying prices increased. Extremely disrespectful and shady in the way they conducted business. They have nearly $5000 of our money and they refuse to pay. The individuals name is Patrick who's the manager there. Mirna has been helpful but every time she tries to work with us, she comes back with a different reason why they can't do it. It's almost as if they don't want to give refund and finding a way to avoid doing business in order to keep the $5k. Avoid at all cost. read more

The Venetian Lady yacht was our dream come true wedding venue. Being from Colorado, and our family scattered all over the country we wanted a really cool, unforgettable spot to have our wedding. Working with Dominique and Stephanie through the process was awesome, they were very attentive to my million questions I had, which for me was nerve racking planning from across the country and just hoping everything works out. It worked out perfect, everything was soo beautiful, the staff on board was amazing, I had a girl check on me all night making sure I wasn't hungry, thirsty and my guests never had their drink empty. The vendors the yacht recommended all turned out to be great! Overall I couldn't have pictured a better wedding experience and I hope to use this boat again, maybe for a wedding anniversary :) read more

"On any given Sunday you'll find boats galore on Miami's Biscayne Bay. This Sunday however, was more special than any other. Not only was this past Sunday Easter Sunday, but it was also my first time on the Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters Easter Cruise. Walk aboard the three tiered Biscayne Lady and you'll soon see that this is no ordinary yacht. First you walk across the spacious bow as you are greeted with bubbly mimosas, then you walk into a huge dining room with two bars, round tables draped with white linens, beautiful spring flowers, and the smell of delicious food waiting to please your palate. Grab a plate and get in line, you'll soon see that the wait is more than worth it. A long plentiful buffet filled with pastries, chocolate croissants, fruit skewers, quiche, a ham carving station and even a very unique station with toppings and a serving of mashed potatoes in a martini glass. I saw more food than I could eat; and fear not as it did not run out. Once done dining, you can wash up in what seems to be hotel restroom, very unlike what you'd expect on a sea fairing vessel. Trendy sinks, large restroom stalls, and cotton towels for drying your hands. Then you can make your way upstairs to the lounge. Here you were greeted with a cheese platter nestled amongst an array of apothecaries filled with handmade Easter egg decorations. Another bar with the same willing to please staff as in the dining room, a dance floor and music blaring through the speakers awaken your party mood and remind you that after all this is Miami. After a continued stream of mimosas, it was time to tackle another deck of this magnificent yacht, so off we went. Now this is the deck to be on, open top, wind in your hair, the sea breeze tickling your nose. It such a shame that there is no seating on this deck, even still the views of the bay and Miami downtown skyline are postcard perfect. So there we were, once again back at the dock. Countless mimosas drank, scenic pictures taken, all smiles. Feeling like a tourist and only saddened that this cruise had come to an end. But alas, there is always next year!" read more

After months of hard work, I wanted to give my team a truly relaxing experience, so I booked the Venetian Lady for our holiday party. I figured we'd have some decent food and a nice experience relaxing on board, but boy was I wrong. The reality FAR exceeded my expectations! To begin with, the sales person and event coordinator with whom I worked were extremely professional and responsive. Nothing I requested was too much to ask. Once aboard, the service was impeccable. My glass was never empty, and the staff constantly circulated throughout all three decks to ensure everyone was happy and pampered. They were friendly and always smiling. The onboard manager was attentive and responsive, even providing some information on the sights along the way. When I ordered our menu, I figured we'd get some mediocre food, but the cruise was worth that compromise. Again . . . I was SO wrong. The food was delicious, and they made lovely accommodations for our vegetarians, at no additional cost. The boat itself is lovely and beautifully clean, with plenty of available options regarding seating and layout. Every single person on my team loved the experience and already requested a repeat event. Had a group of 28 people that joined us on boat for Thanksgiving Buffet dinner. At first we were afraid as it felt jammed in and too crowded but true fully people started to spread out. It was easy to get the food and salad and beverages. Desserts were upstairs. The food was actually very very good. We were all impressed. The service clearing plates and serving coffee or whatever you wanted was amazing . Plenty of staff keeping things ( including bathroom) very clean. The ride was smooth and seeing the Miami skyline was fun. Really great if home party is not an option. read more

Loved every minute of it! The only downside was the lack of seating! We booked an Easter Brunch cruise, that promised bottomless mimosas, bloody marys, buffet food & more. It delivered on everything it promised, and then some! While the food wasn't spectacular, it was decent enough, and the rest of the cruise more than made up for it. Food included an omelette station, carved ham, a salad station, mashed potatoes and an assortment of pastries. We were disappointed to see cheese (as promised on the website) was missing, but it turns out, it was up on the second level, along with some cute Easter eggs filled with candy. We totally enjoyed our little sail around Miami, including an in-depth tour of Star Island (felt like such a tourist, and loved it!). The mimosas were free-flowing and most of the bar staff was super friendly. Watching from the roof deck offered a fabulous view (albeit windy), and we saw lots of gorgeous Miami skyline and sparkling blue water. The only negative, as mentioned above, was a lack of seating on the second level and the roof deck. More tables and chairs, please! Otherwise, worth every penny, and we'd totally do it again. :) Highly recommend! read more

Having Easter Brunch on the Biscayne Lady was up there as one of my favorite Easters ever. Now, there were a few things that contributed to that statement that were beyond the control of this business: great friends, perfect weather, and the idyllic nature of Biscayne Bay. However, there were a few notable contributions that were: - The staff and service were attentive, friendly, and professional - The open bar was indeed very, very open - The food was good and abundant - The boat was clean and, in nautical terms, 'yar' One thing in our favor was the size of the passenger list, which left us with room to sit and enjoy the view. The guests, even the children, were all very well-behaved. I do believe that the tone and climate set by the crew influenced this in part. For the price, this is a lovely way to spend a few hours in Miami, and with that price in mind ($59.00/person) I give the Biscayne Lady five stars. read more

I have had a distasteful experience with Biscayne Lady staff for multiple reasons. They agreed to allow me to reschedule the date of the event and allow use of the deposit towards a new date. I requested information on availability of two dates; one of them being December 31st, 2021. In a follow up phone call with Sales Coordinator Mirna Arce, she stated "we have an image to maintain" with regards to that date. There was no supporting context to this statement and was perceived as a discriminatory remark. I was unsure under what assumptions this statement was being made. She also stated that the fees for that date would be greater, which that part is understandable. I asked for the information for both dates in writing. She stated she would be replying to that email the following business day. Instead I received two phone calls and I submitted an email request for the nature of the phone call. She stated the event had been canceled and was awaiting payment for a new date...but I still hadn't been given information with regards to AVAILABILITY for new dates. There was some back and forth between other representatives of the company including Office Manager Patrick Young and Owner Mike Simpson. They continually contradicted and attempted to retract statements that had been made even in writing with regards to rescheduling. When I initially did a walk through of the yacht, I was also told by Mirna that guest would have a Complimentary Welcome Drink. While doing a secondary walk through with another staff member, I was told my package didn't include a Complimentary Welcome Drink and that it would be extra (which defeats the purpose of it being called a Complimentary Welcome Drink). This was not something I was told by Mirna during the 1st walk through. Although, this was addressed and later corrected, these practices seem deceptive. They also offer a Salsa Band on their Enhancement Sheet for a fair price. When I requested a demo of the band, they sent a demo of a fairly well known artist in the Salsa community. This artist I figured did not go for that rate (most likely more). When I asked if this would be the artist performing, I was told no, a similar artist would be performing. That is false advertising! Had I not been familiar with the artist, I would have seen one thing and received another. I contracted a band on my own, as I was left waiting. They never provided a demo of the actual artist or actual rates for artists on their Roster. I was not comfortable moving forward with the event at any given time after witnessing these numerous deceptive business practices. A report has been filed with the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Florida and with the Attorney General. In recently noting a previous review on Google where they took a bride's deposit without letting her reschedule during the pandemic, it seems like this is a common practice of this business; pandemic shut down or not. They have kept the deposit even though the event didn't happen, I was never given availability for a new date, and even after stating I no longer felt comfortable moving forward considering the circumstances that had transpired. read more

My first cruise was on one of the yachts from Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters and I had a really good time! The Venetian Lady yacht was the yacht chosen for the Tress to Impress event hosted by The Mane Choice. It was a wonderful event and the CEO/founder of the Mane Choice @courtneynatural hair @themanechoice brought out some phenomenal women including a few Youtube hair bloggers (@eclark6, @simplycre8eve, @mz_tammy), the Guiness Book of World Records Largest Afro @aevindugas and the singer Chrisette Michele! The yacht itself was very nice and accommodating for the large group of ticket holders for this event. As soon as I boarded the yacht, I was greeted by the warm staff who were offering either champagne or water. I didn't have to get up for anything once i sat down. The staff continuously brought drink refills, took up the trash and brought out an endless array of appetizers. My absolute favorites were the vegetable wontons, the Coconut Butterfly Shrimp, and the Beef Wellington. I wasn't a big fan of the dinner display which ranged from a salad, seafood pasta, beef dish, I believe there was a lemon chicken option as well and pineapple rice. I only liked the pineapple rice from the dinner options which took place in the dining area on the first floor or lower level of the yacht. The middle level or main floor or second floor (however you want to look at it) was where the meet and greet, dancing, live DJ and Chrisette Michele singing took place. It was comfortable if you were able to snag a seat which I did in the beginning but after dinner I wasn't able to reclaim my seat because others had beaten me to the punch. It was all good though because luckily I wore flats (which I would recommend wearing or at least bringing for back up especially since the yacht sways from time to time during the cruise) and after dinner Chrisette Michele sang one more song, gave a brief speech and that concluded the event. I purchased a bundle deal for this event which included a brunch on day 2 (not affiliated with the Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters) so I am not sure how much this cruise alone was. read more

Absolutely great experience. My girlfriend, her mother, grandmother, and I decided to book a charter on their Christmas all-inclusive cruise. We booked through the website.. very smooth transaction process. The food was delicious, everything from the sweet potato , mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, and salad bar was great. As I'm a vegetarian I did not try any of the turkey or pork dish they served, but it did look great and was very nicely presented & prepared. This cruise was all inclusive, something in which we were not anticipating upon arrival. They served premium liquor and had no issue continuing to serve even after docking. We just returned from Miami where our son and his new wife were married. I planned the rehearsal dinner on the Venetian Lady. All the planning was done via phone and internet. I was a bit nervous because I had not experienced them before. I can only say, "First Class." Our guests were delighted, the crew couldn't have been more professional and fun. The food was delicious and they made sure everyone was special and their needs met. Beautiful evening and this will be one of our fondest memories, and this family has had many experiences. Easter Sunday... a day full of R's... Rest, Relaxation, and Resurrection... This Sunday, I spent it with friends and family on the Biscayne Lady for their annual Easter Brunch Cruise. At first the skies clouded and let loose a shower or two as if to say the day would not go well, but soon after, the sun flexed its glory and off we were onto the bay in glorious fashion. When first coming aboard, there seemed to be a rush for the food stations. Almost as if people feared the food would come to an end. Tisk, tisk to those newcomers; food on this yacht just continues to flow from the galley like clockwork. All this rush to the food stations did was cause long lines and very uncomfortable heat. I believe this could have been avoided with either better communication to guests or with staggered boarding. Once past the line and the heat and finally seated with a plate of food, I do have to say that the food was much better than one would expect from an open buffet style menu. Ahh... tummy full and drink in hand, time to go upstairs and see what the lounge had to offer. The lounge was beautifully decorated with a cheese table that had a candy bar-esque Easter egg theme, a bar, a DJ playing music and narrating the famous Star Island tour and a dance floor that seemed to oddly be empty. The music was good and the drinks plentiful, I was surprised to see so little people busting a move. Atop the second floor lounge was a fully open sky deck that had the best views of our gorgeous city. High above everything else in the water it felt as if you were in a penthouse. The breeze was excellent and the weather just amazing. The only thing missing were chairs... How is one supposed to relax and enjoy all the sky deck has to offer if we have to stand the whole time while juggling drinking, picture taking and sightseeing... In the end I do have to say that I did have a great time. The staff was very friendly, the yacht was very clean and modern, the food and drinks did not stop and everyone else on board was all smiles except for that one guy that fell asleep on the couch in the lounge.. lol. What an amazing experience! I have been to every Mother's Day brunch in Miami for the last 20 years and NOTHING beats Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters. My entire family was impressed with the service and quality. The minute we jumped aboard we were greeted with a warm smile and a delicious mojito. From there we found our way to the top deck of the boat.....amazing! The view from the top was captivating. We found a table and before we could sit down we were asked if we needed anything to drink and were directed to the appetizers. The appetizer display was spectacular and meticulous. The chocolate fountain and fresh fruit was a crowd pleaser, especially for the grandchildren. After our initial cocktail and snacks we made our way down to the main dining area and couldn't believe our eyes. We were amazed with the presentation of the buffet and everyhing you could want was there. I will have to say that the prime rib carving station was my favorite. The food was absolutely incredible. I couldn't believe that this five star menu had been prepared in the boat's galley. All in all this was the best Mother's Day I have had! The BIscayne Lady is a beautiful yacht and the view that she provides is priceless. I have made it very clear to my children that Biscayne Lady Yacht Charters is going to become our new family tradition. I booked Miami Lady out for 52 guests and we all had an amazing time! Leading up to the event Dominique was very easy to work with and was understanding in discussing our budget limitations. On the day itself, the staff were so efficient and accommodating...it was a cooler than usual night that we weren't prepared for but they served dessert on both the open area and enclosed area which they suggested last minute. The food was so gooooood!!! When I first read the menu, I cringed thinking it was going to be so plain, but they were beyond my expectations! The DJ was fabulous too!!! The Dade County Firefighters Benevolent had our annual Holiday Party on the Biscayne Lady. We had an outstanding time. The Captain kept the boat in calm waters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE! Me and my family alongside some relatives (total of 7) had booked the Recess for 4 hours. At first, I thought that was going to be way too long, but it was too short! The incredible feeling of relaxation while laying on the front was just my paradise! They provided us with great service and snacks. The employees were nice and right from the beginning asked us what we would like to see and what our goals were for these few hours. After stating we wanted to view the city of Miami as a tourist and needed a quiet stop to swim, they took us to a beautiful area which we dived and had fun. The workers truly treated us very politely, asking us if we would like anything or if everything was the way we pleased. It was truly an amazing experience and the time flew by! We choose the Venetian lady yacht as our wedding venue and it was the best decision we could have ever made! My fiancé met with Dominique first then we met Stephanie, and both ladies were a pleasure to work with! They were attentive and very helpful throughout the whole process! The staff on board the day (the entire staff, Erica, Chelsea just to name a couple!) of were the absolute best! I can go on and on but I'm just going to say that when I got to the Venetian Lady the day of my wedding it was a dream come true. If I had to do it all over again I would do it the exact same! I took my son along with his 2 Grandmothers and convinced a couple of my friends to come along for the Easter Brunch Cruise on the Biscayne Lady. It was a memorable event! Firstly, we ate until our buttons popped! They had an omelette station, bacon, sausage, pastries, mashed potatos, carved ham, quiche, and the list goes on...The chocolate croissants were to die for! After that we delighted ourselves to the open bar. They were serving mimosas, beer, champagne, bloody marries, and had strong liquor available at the bar as well! I loved every moment of it. My son enjoyed himself tremendously and even saw a dolphin. That made his day. On the way out, they gave my son a Easter Candy Parting Basket. I will be coming back! read more
