Gathered around for our teammates at work in Denver and Biscuits & Berries happened in to bring in the prepackaged ( based on the orders that were put in) lunch boxes to our meeting. We happened to order a bunch of lunch boxes and I had the Mediterranean veggie wrap out of them all. The wrap was very nicely put together and the fresh apple, the pickle and a slice of tomato were all great compliments to the wrap. The cookie thought that came along was a bit overly sweet. Most of our team loved the wraps but for the chicken pesto wrap as the reviews were mixed about the same. All in all great service ( they delivered the order for us and made sure that we had ample silverware , napkins etc) and good food. Definitely worth a try and especially works well for a team or large group type setup. read more

Started out wonderful, Bree was great, tasting was amazing. Fast forward to the event and not so great. Coordinator was rude unhelpful. Pass on watermelon poke, instead of refreshing it was soggy and just plain gross, no one took more than one. We ordered turkey legs for everyone not sliced turkey. It was a Scottish theme we wanted and stressed turkey legs!! Fire and ice station needed soy sauce and ginger as it was dry sushi with red pepper. It needed sauce The rest of food was good We ordered 2cakes, no one finished as they were bone dry and stale with frosting so thick it was like butter. Cookies were a hit as well as ice cream We spent top prices for 60 people and had high expectations. So disappointed read more

This business has an interesting approach to their work. Attending a conference here in Golden. As I go to many of these all over the nation and am exposed to a variety of caterers. This group doesn't score well by comparison. This morning, we all arrived to enjoy some presentations at the facility. An organizer was tapped to "tap dance" as it is called in conferences as the food was not ready. Several people coming in indicated they were ready for breakfast. Unfortunately Biscuits and Berries was running late and arrived without the berries, or the spread for the two types of bagels they did bring. Overall the snack (continental style breakfast) was limited and heavy on carbs. The quality and quantity of what they did bring was acceptable. Perhaps next time will be better. Update: And it was, lunch of burrito bowl was much better. Some of my colleagues, specifically from the southwest found it a bit lacking in some of the fine points (but they know such things) I thought it was healthy and nicely done. I wish I could give a good review but I tasted their food as a volunteer of a local event and it was terrible. One tiny piece of deli meat as in 1/2 slice or less as you would get in one slice of a deli meat package at grocery plus one small piece of lettuce and a tiny bit mayo or something? it was so dry, gross, nothing but dry bread. I tried the other sliders with brioche buns add they were not good either, you need to reduce the bread or increase what is on it. I thought it was just me but I told my husband and he said they had them at their (large) company for events and were equally disappointed. read more

My company had a semi-large annual event that required a lot of planning. Even after changing things around multiple times, Matt Brown totally came through, and everything was just as ordered. In addition... Lupita was our delivery/setup/breakdown expert, and I cannot say enough Great things about her. Communicative, prompt, thorough, works her butt off (carrying Huge, heavy food crates and she is teeny-tiny), and ensured to be back exactly on time for the clean-up. She went above and beyond, and she honestly did the work of two people. Her attitude and demeanor were so pleasant, upbeat, perky, and just so sweet...I may steal her away and keep her in my pocket! Our company hired Biscuits & Berries for our Holiday Party. My wife and I arrived a bit after the start of the party and several items on the buffet were already out. The remaining items were mediocre in taste at best. What a disappointment. We ended up stopping for food on our way home as we were hungry after the party. Our boss had ordered alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from a third party vendor for the party and had them delivered to the venue. At the end of the party, the remaining beverages were behind the bar and their staff was secretly planning on taking the remainder of the beverages. Fortunately some our employees realized what was going on and took a bunch of the beverages home for themselves. What a disgrace of a catering company. Their employees should know better and should not be allowed to claim beverages from a client ever. I will make sure we never use this company again for any of our functions. read more

They will answer the phone, show up on time, and communicate with you to address all the finer details (ie gluten-free, vegan options). The guests at our wedding could not stop raving about how great everything tasted. We booked them for both our welcome party and wedding reception - every single thing was delicious, beautifully presented, and handled expertly. My professional organization has been using Biscuits & Berries on a monthly basis for about 5 years. They have always been on time with good meals and reasonable prices ($10.00 - 11.50 per person for a dinner buffet). This includes service pieces, salad, condiments, bread, and desert (which is the best). In the beginning, when I first looked into caterers, this group was so nice and understanding of our situation....my non-profit organization is not rich. I was actually snooted by another caterer when I told them we were looking for a fairly inexpensive meal for about 30 people on a monthly basis. Some of my favorites were last nights Mexican Fiesta with avocado enchiladas (a special to accommodate the vegetarians), Rigatoni and Baked Ravioli, Jamaican Jerk Chicken, and the Fajita Bar. With any of these dinners, a vegetarian can make a decent meal. After our meetings, they come back and pick everything up. We have never heard a complaint from the Tivioli (our meeting venue). I am going to give Biscuits and Berries 5 stars because they do what they do best. It also means that I am well aware that catering food has to be dumbed down for the masses and although good, this food is not to be judged against our favorite restaurants. read more

Excellent mid price range catering. I used them for my wedding. We were on a budget and they worked with us on a delicious menu. Their sample meal was markedly better than a few others we tried in the same price category. No window dressing during the food sampling, just really good food. Also 3 big pluses: 1. The servers were so warm during our reception. This is huge when you have a wedding. These people really help set the tone of the event. They made us feel like a million bucks. 2. We screwed up our menu that we had printed up for our guests by adding a main course that we had never ordered or paid for hours before the reception. Our planner didn't know what had gone wrong but asked them to just "make it happen". They did just that! No questions and no charge. It was all our own fault and they just rocked it for us. 3. Biscuits and Berries just catered my daughter's wedding. The food was excellent as were the hard-working staff who clearly went some extra miles to be sure everyone was taken care of and everything was special - even cucumber ice water on a table in the Rose Garden where the ceremony was - very popular and appreciated on a 97 degree day. The wedding was at Hudson Gardens, and it is the caterer that sets up and then takes down the chairs for the ceremony as well as the tables and chairs for the reception. As well as setting up and taking care of the food stations and guests at the meal. Not to mention the food itself, which I am told, is actually prepared onsite at whatever venue they are serving. Hard working folks who do what they do very well and with an obviously sincere commitment to making the event special. And as a favor to Yelpers, here are the other service providers who also made this a perfect day for my daughter, son-in-law and our families: Hudson Gardens (the Rose Garden) - 5 stars. What a lovely venue for an outdoor, summer wedding! Access is easy and there is abundant parking. The gardens are beautiful, the grounds are meticulously manicured, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Peak Beverage - 5 stars - purveyor of soft drinks and adult beverages. Like the caterer, Peak's staff were wonderful and clearly went extra miles to be sure that everything was special. A Music Plus - 5 stars - we had an excellent DJ who handled and accommodated all requests in terms of the processionals, recessional, first dance and reception. Classic Photographers (Dmitriy K) - 5 stars - Dmitriy was our main photographer but they also deployed a second photographer for the ceremony itself so that events could be captured from multiple perspectives. Very professional and at the same time very efficient. Remarkably accommodating - in addition to the usual suite of wedding photographs, Dmitriy shot every cluster and cohort of individuals, families and attendees requested of him. Pretty Petals (flowers) - 5 stars - the venue was gardens, so it seemed that flowers were mostly superfluous. Nonetheless, bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, corsages and boutonnieres, were lovely, fresh and delivered right on time. And, at a much lower cost than any other florist we found. Understand that nothing about a wedding is inexpensive. On the other hand, you can't put a price tag on some things and you don't mind paying for quality. Thanks to these quality service providers - they all delivered in spades and helped make it a very special day for my daughter and son-in-law. read more

Flawless. Biscuits and Berries catered our wedding in Denver and they were spot on from every aspect, start to finish. Our guests have been raving about the food for weeks now. It was a Brunch wedding, and they served Eggs Benedict (both standard and vegetarian), Red Velvet Pancakes and Salad. More than the food (which was great), was their ability to really manage the entire event for us. They set the room flawlessly for the actual ceremony, and then reset the room for the reception. Watching the video of the wedding, we can really see how great of a job they did. They knew how to handle every intricate detail and made suggestions that made the whole day seamless. They kindly plated and served the kids separately with eggs, pancakes and bacon so they wouldn't have to go through the buffet. It was a simple thing that we never would have thought to ask for, but it made so much difference at the event. They provided actual SERVICE during the wedding, instead of just putting out the food and cleaning the room. They crew walked the kids over and helped them with the Hot Chocolate, brought my catatonic father a second serving at his seat, and managed to find the (2) gluten-free guests even though they table-jumped.The crew was polite, helpful and as good as any server in any restaurant. Everything was perfect, there is not a single thing they could have done better. We chose B&B because we got the impression that they were professionals, and we were not disappointed. Laura was our event designer and she is spectacular. Our company has gotten catering from Berries and Biscuits around 20 times. We always get the stuffed broccoli chicken, cheesy rice, salad and dessert. Out of all these times most of the time the food is excellent! We loveeeee the stuffed chicken, it always makes for an awesome treat to look forward to at work. This last time however the chicken was dry and the breading was different, it was extremely disappointing, so much so no one took the left overs home. The rice was also a bit undercooked, but not so bad you couldn't eat it. In fact I ate more rice than chicken this time. There has been one other time the rice was wayyyy undercooked it was crunchy, yuck. It was barely touched. I threw what I got out. Dessert is always good, we've never had an issue there. They are usually very consistent we've only had these few issues out of the many times we order. We will probably order again as that chicken is so darn good when done like they usually do it. Unfortunately third times the charm and we may not order for our office again if we experience crunchy rice and dry chicken again. It doesn't make for good board meetings. read more

We flew in to Denver from Seattle, San Francisco, New York City, Phoenix, and Austin for a team meeting. Biscuits & Berries did the catering. Three of our team members required gluten-free meals, and this was arranged with them in advance. On the first day, they brought "gluten-free" sandwich boxes that contained the exact same wheat flour cookie as the other boxed lunches. On the second day, they brought salads, and every single one of them contained croutons, meaning three people had nothing but snacks (potato chips and an apple) to eat for lunch. I would not recommend this company if anyone in your group has food allergies or other dietary restrictions. read more

I haven't used Biscuit's & Berries, but I have had several catered lunches from them. I work in a medical practice's corporate office, so we get a lot of lunches provided to us, it's a great way to try to buy our business! I always smile when I see the Biscuits and Berries van rollin in the parking lot, because I know I'm going to have a good lunch. I've had lunches that vary from sandwiches, chicken and pasta, and this week we had a fajita bar. All meals have been fresh, warm, and very tasty. The lunches are always a hit with my team, and the fajita bar was no mas once we were all done with it. I admit, I had seconds, and thirds! We had boxed lunches this week from Biscuits and Berries. I was extremely impressed with the quality of the food, the portions, and the service! We had several different options for a plethora of dietary issues (vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, etc.). I tried a few and they were all fresh, tasty, and HUGE. I had a wrap which I shared, pasta salad, chips, an apple, and a cookie. I'm a good eater, but even I couldn't finish everything! Biscuits & Berries catered my wedding in August at Strawberry Creek Ranch in Granby and we couldn't have been any happier with the results. My family is ALL about food so I knew it was going to be important to have excellent food but like any wedding, we were constrained by our budget. The price was completely fair and the food tasted EVEN BETTER on-site than at our initial tasting. I believe it's because they cooked everything on-site. The only thing that was slightly worse than at the tasting was the biscuit but the steaks and the chicken were even better than we remembered. I got compliments all around from my family and friends on how great the food was. Even though we were planning from California, the process with Biscuits & Berries couldn't have been easier. They were the most responsive and most organized of any of the vendors I worked with. Not only were they easy to work with and professional, the setup went smoothly and the tables looked great. Due to our planned seating, some of the tables had more people than others but no one seemed to need to ask for extra chairs or plates at the table. On top of that, they were extremely accommodating with the children. They made sure to cook some extra chicken skewers without gravy and brought them directly to any of the families that asked for them. And the best thing was that they accepted credit cards. Ladies and gents, I highly recommend asking them to automatically add on the tip prior to the big day. We had met with other caterers to be sure but B&B was the best. They listened to what we were looking for and went beyond our expectations for helping us make a wonderful day. Our wedding was in January and we worked fast with them which was all easy and on par with what we wanted. Lauren was our coordinator and she was in one word "delightful". Like a friend. She helped us with ways to save money and was always there when I needed her. Organized, respectful, kind, and very easy to work with on everything. She made me feel as a bride that I was her best client. She was enthusiastic and just wonderful. The food was delicious. In fact, we are 2 1/2 weeks later and I am still getting rave reviews from friends and family. My cousin asked me just yesterday about the veggies and wanted the recipe. She called them and of course Lauren shared the recipe. Our guests were very happy! Our menu was scrumptious beef tenderloins (steak really) with horseradish butter (yum!), Italian chicken, mashed potatoes, salad with champagne dressing (this was the bomb), fluffy rolls and honey butter and grilled veggies with honey butter. It was all delectable for a winter wedding. They also added decor to their tables that matched the look of our decor. It was wonderful. Lauren managed all of our rentals with Event Rents (they were great) and they even helped me with all my table set ups with our coordinator, making sure that my vision came out as I wanted. It was so lovely. Just beautiful. The service on the day was also fantastic. Lauren, Dina and the staff was so helpful and terrific. They made me and my groom feel so special and took care of us. What I also loved was that they were all very happy. Smiles by the bartenders and wait staff. All in all it was just perfect. This company is the best!!! First off, Beverly was awesome. We used her for our location wedding in the mountains. She really listened to what we wanted, she made it fun and relaxed. We used Biscuits & Berries for our wedding on 11/17/18, and they were absolutely amazing! We decided we wanted our food to be fun, so we went with passed hor d'oeuvres for the cocktail hour, and stations for both the dinner and dessert. I am still dreaming about how delicious the bacon jam pop tarts were for our cocktail hour! The stations were so fun, and the liquid nitrogen ice cream station that we had for dessert was so delicious. Seriously the best, creamiest, ice cream I've ever had. Our guest raved about how amazing all of the food was. Not only was it all delicious, but the staff were also wonderful. There was always someone walking around refilling water glasses, and they made sure my husband and I had huge plates of food waiting for us. I called them after finding them on line for my daughter's wedding in Black Hawk. The phone service was amazing, helpful and courteous too. The delivery van came on time, the presentation was beyond what I expected, ( I opted for the silver service for the dinner buffet banquet) they even brought fresh flower arrangements for the buffet. The food was hot, and more than enough for our group of 40. I would highly recommend them. It is so hard when you live 3,000 miles away to chose a cater for a wedding...they did an outstanding job and have a great menu, including vegetarian entrees.
