We stopped here due to the reviews and it didn't disappoint. We both had a sandwich with combo and had to try the cornbread of course. The entire bill was $50 which was reasonable for all of the food we got. I thought the brisket was fantastic in both the Meathead sandwich and the boss. They didn't have hot BBQ sauce but the other options were ok. The beans were your typical baked beans but the Mac & Cheese was super cheesy and really good. There was jazz playing over the speakers which was a surprise and a nice touch. I would definitely stop by again if I'm ever in this area again!

Hatch Chili Mac and Cheese and the pulled pork sandwiches with BBQ sauces are highly recommended!!

Our 1st time to eat at Seasoned Swine. It did not disappoint! The Hatch Chili Mac and Cheese was an instant favorite! The pulled pork sandwiches with the awesome BBQ sauces offered different flavors to quench your taste buds.

If you're anywhere near Golden--or even just driving I-70 through Colorado--do yourself a favor and stop at Seasoned Swine BBQ. We loved it so much on our way to Vail that we made a point to stop again on our way back to the Denver airport. That's about the highest compliment I can give a restaurant. The burnt ends were among the best we've ever had--perfectly smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The ribs were outstanding with just the right amount of bark and tenderness. Every sauce was delicious, the sides were excellent, and the local Colorado beer selection and craft cocktails were just as thoughtfully curated as the food. What really sets Seasoned Swine apart, though, is the people. The entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome, and it was clear they take pride in what they do. We had the pleasure of meeting Jacob, the owner, and his passion for authentic barbecue is evident in every detail--from the quality of the food to the atmosphere and service. You can tell this isn't just a business to him--it's a craft. In a world where so many restaurants are just "good enough," Seasoned Swine is memorable. We can't wait to come back, and we'll be recommending it to everyone we know traveling through the Denver/Golden area.

Came here on a Friday evening and parking was easy. A nice chill bbq spot where you go up and order and they bring it out to you. Two of my friends and I decided to the swinoceros plate and I was so excited to try it. Definitely enough food for all of us. It came with pulled pork, turkey, brisket, burnt ends, ribs, and sausage. We ordered Mac and cheese for our sides. The workers were al really nice and brought us samples of bbq sauce. The meat was really good and the plate was a fun way to try everything. I really enjoyed the burnt ends and Mac and cheese. Yum! Price was good split between 3 around $24. Left very full and happy.

Smoked Cornbread, turkey sandwich, cider slaw, one 1 Candied Rib

In town for a quick business trip and wanted to try the local Q. The candied rib was great. More BBQ joints should be willing to sell single ribs because they make a great side. I didn't want to stuff myself, so I went with the smoked turkey sammy. The juicy turkey had great smoke flavor. I'm not a big mayo fan, so I enjoyed the apply cider vinegar slaw. The cornbread was a little sweet with a bit of smoky flavor. Order at the counter and the friendly staff will bring your order to your table. Seating inside and outside under covered second floor patio. Good CO BBQ!

Cool bbq spot in Golden! $16.99 for pulled pork sandwich with a side and drink. This is comparable pricing for bbq. The entrance is a steep staircase up to the second floor. I'm not sure if they have an elevator. The staff were very friendly and the outdoor patio looked nice. The indoor seating area is not that big but had a traditional bbq vibe.

Seasoned Swine is near one of my work offices so I had to check it out for lunch. I had some pork ribs and burnt ends. The pork ribs were definetely the highlight of the plate. I also tried their cherry smoked green beans and they were also top notch. I did try their greens and they were to spicy for me to eat so I gave them to a friend. Beware of those greens! If you want a great place to grab BBQ then this is worth your time to visit!

Stopped by this jem before a Redrocks show. It's less then 10 minutes from the venue! The food was absolutely delicious. The meat was flavorful and the BBQ sauces were sweet and tangy. The macaroni and cheese was extremely creamy. I will definitely be back. There is plenty of indoor + outdoor seating.

The name of this restaurant is quite ironic if you think about it. It's called the season swine, but they could've been better in the seasoning area. I ate the swineoceros. It came with three sides, a jalapeño cheddar sausage, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, pulled chicken, and ribs. My top pics were the sausage and burnt ends. The pulled pork and pool chicken was very tender, however it just needed more seasoning added. Very similar to the brisket, it would've been dynamic if it had some flavor or seasoning to it. They have the concept of tender down, now they just need to ace the concept of flavor and seasonings. Would I come back, absolutely. They are one of very few restaurants that actually made a decent mac & cheese. The customer service was good. The spot was clean and some of the few foods I tasted were rated highly for me.

Was craving a little bbq lunch in the area and decided to stop by! Plenty of gravel lot parking, but beware for handicap patrons, this establishment is on the second floor. Overall, I was craving wings and these smokey, candied wings were fantastic, a solid 9/10. The brisket and burnt ends were more lackluster in my opinion, unfortunately a bit too far on the drier side, but the bbq sauce went very well with it and helped moisten it right up. The rib was tender, juicy, and sweet, and if I were to come back, I would definitely get a rack of ribs. The bottom of the list today was unfortunate the mac and cheese, which had a heavy artificial cheese flavor, which some enjoy, but not me. Otherwise, I noticed the bathrooms here were very clean and tidy, you have self service rolls of papertowels and bulk bbq sauces, and while you have a little number stand for the staff to bring your food out to you, its self service to place your used tray back. Overall a solid option to itch that craving for bbq!

Oh. My. Goodness. This was delicious. Was looking for a place for late lunch after hanging in Golden on a Saturday morning and bbq sounded good. My partner and I shared a platter with brisket, burnt ends, cornbread, spicy slaw, and green chile mac and cheese. They have their own custom sauces too and it tied everything together. All the flavors were amazing and we are definitely coming back to try the sausages and everything else. My partner and I were pretty full after sharing this meal. We'll have to bring friends next time so we can try more together! Also loved the view from the restaurant and the outdoor balcony with a view. Probably a great sunset dinner spot honestly.

On a lovely fall day, we wanted some bbq and decided to check out this wonderful find on W. Colfax in Golden. They have a nice patio, though it was a bit windy so we enjoyed our food inside. It's very casual, but comfortable. We ordered the Meathead to share, along with four ribs (you can order individually). We chose the beans and potato salad as our sides. All of it was very very tasty. The meat in the sandwich (prime brisket and pulled pork) was fantastic. The sauces were up to the task as well -- very tasty. We actually ordered the ribs as an afterthought after talking briefly with another customer about their ribs -- and we didn't have to order a whole rack. I'm so glad we did because they were equally as good. The staff was very helpful in all our decision-making. Look forward to a revisit soon!

Good ambiance. Good is really good compared to other bbq I've had in Colorado. Waitstaff is really nice and helpful. I would give this place a solid 4 stars. Is it the moistest and amazing brisket I've ever had? No. But it's pretty solid and pretty good. The sausage is pretty damn good. The spicy avocado slaw was not my cup of tea at all. And I personally didn't find it spicy. There was a hint but that's subjective I guess. Would probably come back when in the area.ended up trying the vinegar slaw, also not my cup of tea. I assume due to the altitude it's difficult to make bbq here. So that being said. I probably won't recommend it and won't go way out of my way but will probably be back. Always want to support local businesses. Maybe they will change the slaw recipe and I'll be a big fan one day

It took about 5 minutes for us to be greeted by anyone working; there were two employees working behind the counter, both were busy making sandwiches. Eventually one let us know it was going to be a few more minutes before they could take our order, to which I didn't mind - I recognize it takes time to make sandwiches. We waited for a bit (probably ~10 minutes), and then decided to place an order with them online and continue walking around while we waited. It took about 15 minutes for our order to be ready, so maybe this is the best way to go about ordering so you're not just standing around. To clarify, I didn't mind waiting but it also made sense to place the order and then walk around while waiting. I ordered the North of I70 Italian sandwich, and indicated that I wanted mayo, mustard and oil + vinegar. My wife ordered the sweet baby turkey, and also asked for mayo and salt + pepper. Neither of our sandwiches had any condiments on them (pic included). Each sandwich cost $20, and while I realize that the price of good deli meat has gone up, it was definitely a bummer to not have exactly what we ordered on a sandwich that costs so much - $40+ for 2 standard size sandwiches. The other thing to note is that the mushrooms are not fresh - also included a pic of the mushrooms which I assume come from a can/jar. Had I known the mushrooms were not fresh, I would not have ordered them. I was really rooting for this place to be good, but was overall disappointed in the experience and outcome of our order.

It is definitely a little pricey- $25/person for a sandwich, chips and a beer/seltzer- but the sandwiches are good and are big enough that it left me stuffed so it's a decent value.

The staff was super nice and efficient but the sandwich was meh At the time I arrived they were already putting the chairs away because they were closing in a few, so I made a rushed decision: The Aspen Buddha (Turkey Swiss Curry Aioli Sunflower Seeds Lettuce Tomatoes Sprouts Banana Peppers Cucumbers). In my mind I was making a "healthy choice" but in reality I felt like I was about to eat a loaf of bread. I thought it seemed silly to pay only $2 less for a half a sandwich so I ordered the whole but then shamefully threw away most of the bread and ate only the innards which were also pretty boring. Even though I'm trying to keep my carb intake in check--I'm fully capable of for example enjoying a whole loaf of challah in one sitting if inspired but this wheat loaf did not inspire those kind of urges. As for the rest of the sandwich, it could have really used more curry aioli or something because I don't think I tasted that at all. If was ever forced to eat this same sandwich again I might ask for a side of vinaigrette, giardiniera, avocado. Something. The people were right: this was a dry sandwich. The reason I was even in Golden is because I wanted to test the feasibility of taking the W line to the Golden government center that is 2 miles from downtown and then riding my bike to have a picnic by Clear Creek. Turns out that yes, this is great with the understanding that the bike ride back to the light rail is way more intense when heading back to Denver. All uphill on my single speed! Without the Aspen Buddha, since it was 95 degrees or so I might have died had I not eaten/rehydrated. I am thankful for that. Also thankful for the life lesson about bringing my own picnic so I only have myself to complain to next time.
