Hippie chicks catered my friends wedding and it was amazing. As guests we really enjoyed the food and as a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised at the offerings. Mark was one of the stars members during the event and he was great! He was attentive and very helpful with any questions and made sure everyone was getting enough apps during cocktail hour. I also noticed how kind and helpful all of the staff was when I was trying to get something from the kitchen in the house before the event started. For appetizers we had the arancini balls and pear crostinis and both were very flavorful and delicious. We had a watermelon/arugula salad to start off dinner and it was so fresh and perfect. The dinner rolls are dangerous bc it would be too easy to eat multiple of them. My vegetarian entree was a generous size and very filling and full of flavor. 5+. Hippie Chicks is now at the top of my list for caterers in the Denver area. They provided a lovely spread of food at our family gathering. They offer a huge menu full of unique items you don't typically see from a caterer. They easily accommodated our guests with special food allergies. Two things really stood out to me, putting Hippie Chicks into the Outstanding category. Their food was not only delicious (special shout-out to curry chicken and Philly cheesesteak sliders, and fried artichokes with garlic aioli), but it was also impeccably presented. Just gorgeous. Also, the service they provided during the event was fantastic: Cindy set up, refreshed food, cleaned up plates, and packaged up leftovers, working quietly and quickly in the background. Six months ago my family planned a celebration of our parents 60th Anniversary. We invited four generations from five states all culminating in Georgetown last week. I asked Joy if she'd help with the food. I've eating her dinners for two years and they are amazing. She agreed, help set the menu and delivered one of the best buffets ever. From the Mediterranean platter, chips and four salsas to the amazing black bean dip it started off very well. Then the taco bar opened with the best shredded beef, lime chicken and cilantro lime rice. But wait there's more, she brought the best cupcakes too! Knowing she has a penchant for breakfast she brought three amazing quiches, green Chile hash browns, with the best blueberry muffins with delightful bran muffins for our Sunday brunch. An amazing vision of food. Hippy Chicks has catered four events for me and I am thrilled with the attention to detail, the quality and variety of the food and most of all the responsive nature of the owner Joy. Her creations are so pretty and generous. She did a mothers day party, a bridal shower, a graduation party, a wedding feast and a gift of a meal for a friend. Hippie chicks catered my mothers "Celebration of Life" which had 80 attendees. We had sandwiches, a fruit tray, roasted vegetables, crudite, and a dessert tray. Everyone raved about the food. Just wanted to give a shout out to Hippie Chicks Catering! This has really been a great lifeline for me in the time of COViD. I've been able to order a few different entree's every week and have them delivered to my door. I've actually found a great little machine that I can freeze personally portions for anytime i want in the future. Every week the menu's changes but there is so much to choose from that you can't go wrong. Some of my favorites are the beef tips, pork enchiladas and chili relleno's. Most of the entrees come with a side also! I've met the owner Joy several times...mostly because she usually handles the deliveries. I've made a few suggestions for something's I'd like to see and she's come up with some great Vegan/veggie options. I have some friends who are getting married this year...had to postpone due to COVID...put them in touch with Hippie Chicks. Looks like she's doing the event now! Glad to support local business in this wacky time...placing my order for this week now!!! One of the items I suggested is available so it really motivated me to do a review!
