My wife and I get compliments all the time about it. Its nice because with Stephen's process you can be very hands on and select the type of wood and pieces youd like to use. His prices are also very affordable. Highly, highly recommend Stephen if you want some custom wood furniture.

We finally found a good piece to commission Wain Green Wood to produce for us. I spoke to him before Christmas 2020 and visited his shop that same week. I paid my 50% deposit on 12/22/20. I was told my project would be complete at the end of January. On 12/29, I emailed to add to my order. I did not get a response, but with the holidays did not worry. I emailed again on 1/29 for a status update as we were nearing the completion date...still radio silence. I called and had no response. I texted on 2/6/21, the message was read and still no response. At this point I a, very concerned as my deposit has been paid. Today, 2/9/21, I went by his shop to check in as I received no response to my text. The shop I visited was GONE...along with my money. I was extremely disappointed to see the shop was gone...I know we are all trying our best through COVID. I too, am a small business owner. There is, however, no excuse to take someone's money and run. I caution you to not trust this company.

Out of the three roofers who…read morecame, they were the only ones to recommend also checking in with a plumber about the pipe coming out of the roof. We followed their recommendation, worked with a plumber, and then had DLV make some other small fixes they'd recommended. When they came out for the repairs, they went above and beyond by painting the white pipe the plumber put in to make it blend with the roof more. They didn't charge extra for that, they just took the initiative. Also had a great experience with the scheduling staff. Katherine was even able to coordinate with us to have the team come sooner when there was a cancellation.

The first crew turns out to be subcontracted (even though DLV's salesman emphatically stated they don't subcontract), it was this crew who refused to install the hip shingles because the color clashed so badly. After waiting six weeks for the correct hip shingles to arrive through the hail and storms of April they then send a second subcontracted crew. Of course the second crew neglects to trim back the material at the ridge vents creating complete blockage, I bring this to DLV's attention and they argue with me, I say I'm bringing in an engineer, and they say let's have a certainteed inspector look at it for my 5-star warranty, of course the inspector sides with me. Stay away, far, far, away. This Asheville, NC DLV organization, sucks, plain and simple. I would have been better off with a storm chaser, stay far, far away. James, are you listening?

I wanted a TWO car carport, with gutters and downspouts. Gave the original amount, which was all…read morematerials and 60% labor. Too much to put down but I could not get anyone else to do the construction. Others came by, some ran away, most did not even bid on the job. Requested Omar get a permit from buncombe county and have the job done to code. He said ok and went right out and purchased the lumber and other materials to complete the job. He put these materials in the area where the carport would go, taking up one space of the two spaces where I had designated that the carport should go. Then came the delays, he could not get the permit, the county would not give him a permit, it was always the county's fault or someone else's fault. Finally, after waiting 6 or 8 WEEKS, that's right, weeks, and after I called the county and asked them what the hold up was, he all of a sudden had the permit. 8 weeks. The entire time I had to listen to my neighbors telling me I had been ripped off, when will he ever do the work, etc... until I was pretty embarrassed. Finally, the work started, dug holes for footers, put up posts, 6, 6x6 posts which was way overkill to hold up a thin metal roof, but I did not say anything because Omar, the boss and who answered my request for construction, keep telling me he knew what he was doing. As he dug the footers for the posts, I asked if the carport was wide enough, he said it was 19' and should be fine, it isn't, can't get two cars in there without having to come in at such an angle that it is impossible. He used 20 ft long boards that would have been great, but he cut off a foot of these boards, which was the extra foot I needed to make the carport fit two cars. But he kept telling me he knew what he was doing. HA Then the real reason I am writing this review. After the initial 6 month waiting period for the pressure treated posts to cure, he was supposed to come back, and clear stain or Thompson seal the posts and other pressure treated surfaces. He has not come back, will not return phone calls or texts, and seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. This dude overcharged, didn't perform and complete the job as directed or for what was contracted to do. Stay away from Omar, too bad cause his workers, especially his father, did good work, just wasn't planned correctly which was Omar's responsibility. Hey Omar, you owe me, cost of stain, paint brush and my labor, 200.00$ and that's getting off cheap. If I used your formula, it would be 600.00$
