It's got a lot of well-known stores, including high end ones like Louis Viotton, Tory Burch, Coach etc. Don't get me started on the Pandora store, that ALWAYS has a line outside. Plus it's got good restaurants like Sally's pizza which I wrote a separate review about and definitely worth a visit. This is a well kept mall, clean and enjoyable to visit. Its location is ideal being that you're only about 5 minutes away from a nearby plaza that is also chock full of wonderful stores like Trader Joes, five below, even an REI camping store. It's kinda like an LL bean, but what I love most is that there's a Doro restaurant nearby and that's usually where we always end up after shopping. I also wrote a separate review on Doro, and it is definitely worth the 5 minute drive from the mall. As far as malls go, this is one that has something for everyone.

Blue Back Square is a popular spot in West Hartford. It has restaurants, shopping, entertainment,…read moreand a residential area. There is a hotel and large name stores such as Whole Foods, The Cheesecake Factory, and various others. It's a beautifully maintained area and very pedestrian friendly. People have the option to live, work, and play right in this area. There's a wide selection to choose from, you don't have to leave the area if you don't want to. Parking can be found on street and two garages, all metered but affordable. There are bright murals throughout. A movie theater and a library are within walking distance. There are events such as live music. There are quite an array of things to do and eat and all in walking distance. The area can be busy but for a good reason. I find myself there quite often and enjoy the amenities.

I ventured out with my kids to check it out. They thought I was crazy but went with me to see what I was taking about. They both were amazed how big these cream puffs are and the filling is so fresh. I told them the 1st time ever having them was at the Big E back in the day. With today being the opening day for the Big E it was an added touch to the West Hartford community to have a visit from Chaz. Next best thing to driving up to West Springfield tonight. Chaz was so photogenic and super nice and thank you for making my afternoon. I plan to get more cream puffs on Wednesday when I go which is also Connecticut Day at the Big E.

There are 11 buildings that are original to the farm and currently being used as one of these businesses; there are a total of 17 buildings. There were plenty of parking but it is a maze to find certain places. There are all types of businesses but I've mainly been in there for BouNam and Little City Pizza. There are other restaurants that I'm looking forward to checking out in this plaza, Somewhere in Bangkok and Villa Mulino to name a couple. I would recommend checking the website to find the business you're looking for; from doctors to dance studios to bakeries to attorneys, you will find most of your lifestyle needs there.

We go here a lot to patronize some excellent businesses like Avon Country Deli for breakfast or lunch, Avon Plumbing and Heating for plumbing fixtures, the Lyme Grille for great pub style atmosphere and food, Rita's Italian Ice, the Local Grille for a nice dinner, Toshi Izakaya for sushi, and a nice little Farmer's Market. It's easy to get to on Route 10 and has tons of parking. As a bonus we get a beautiful view of Talcott Mountain and the Heublein Tower.

We'll be attending a Charity Banquet and Ball in a few weeks, and she was looking for a dress to wear. She found a beauty - a nice red Calvin Klein dress stickered at $134 but tagged at just $49.97. That's 62% off. Customer service was great. When we went to the register to pay, we saw a minor stitching defect at the back of the dress. Our cashier arranged for a runner to head back to the rack with us and we found the exact same dress in perfect condition. No complaints at all.

Unfortunately the associates working here could use some training on how to be more professional. This is a well stocked Marshalls with a large assortment of items.

There are two ways to enter this store, one is at the front, the other is at the rear where the Target is. There is plenty of parking at the back of the store. They also have cashiers at both entrances. This makes the wait to check out much faster. Granted, there are times when I'd walk out empty handed, because they didn't have what I'm looking for. New inventory is added to the the store multiple times a week. This is a great store for your home needs. Currently there's plenty of Halloween and Christmas decor.
