Restaurant is located in a shopping centre. No stairs and lots of parking. Also close to a bus stop. I loved the food. My only real experience with Filipino food was Jollibee and this place blows it out of the water. Some of the food I had was Sisig, garlic rice, fried chicken with cheese, and oysters. Can't remember everything cause I went with a friend who grew up in the Philippines. You don't need such a friend, though, the servers are very helpful and will help you choose the right meal and drink. Price is great and they also have live bands some nights. It's a great place for groups, plenty of room. It's a great locally owned place to support.

    Adobong TABA ng baboy

I ordered garlic fried rice, grilled pork sisig and inihaw na liempo through ubereats. The rice used was toooo sticky for a fried rice - tasted okay. Could use a little more garlic. Grilled pork sisig DOESNT taste like sisig at all, its taste more like tokwa't baboy without the tokwa. Its flooded with soy sauce and too salty for my taste buds. Inihaw na liempo was the only 1 i liked. Although they could tone down the flavours. Also a little salty but tolerable. Its pretty cheap and an OKAY tasting. Probably not gonna order here again. Update 8/22/20: i ordered again because this is the only filipino restaurant around my area that delivers through uber eats, and boy i was dissapointed once again, the have to change the name "Adobong baboy" to "Adobong TABA ng baboy" (Pictures are from 8/22/20 order)

We came in on a Saturday evening for a night of drinks, snacks, and live music. I've never been here before but from the outside this place looks tiny. Inside is much larger than it leads on, but they aren't really equipped to accommodate groups larger than 8. We ordered some beers, a few cocktails, and some food to share. The blue cocktail I had a sip from tasted like fresca. For food we ordered the lechon kawali (crispy pork belly), sizzling sisig, milk fish sisig, this stuffed squid, and fried calamari. The pork was almost all fat and could have used some salt. I don't know what sauce they put on the side, but it would have tasted better with vinegar or hoisin sauce. The calamari was average, and the stuffed squid was a little bland. Think grilled unseasoned squid with some chopped tomatoes inside. But the sizzling sisig. It was AMAZING! It was so good, it was salty, meaty, crunchy and just delicious. Inside there's an egg to mix in, and some green chile peppers. The flavour was not only spot on, but I'd say a perfect food to pair with beer. The milk fish sisig was also very good, but the sizzling is just too hard to beat. Service is kind of slow, and the waitresses were a bit mindless. But there were only 2 of them working the entire floor, and it was late night so I can't really blame them. Others have already mentioned the $5 band cover, but i should add that they don't charge at the door. They tack it onto your bill at the end. While I thought the live band was a nice touch, it was a bit amateur. It was more like karaoke than a live professional band. They take requests and anyone can go up to sing. Overall this place is average. The atmosphere was kind of a like a place you go to drink when you're sad or heartbroken. They play a lot of old and nostalgic Filipino songs. I don't think I would come back on a Saturday night, but I would come for a few drinks and that sizzling sisig with friends any other day.

I've never had Filipino food before so I was very curious to try out some dishes. My boyfriend took me to Bistro Manila and I let him do the ordering. We got pork adobo, bangus sisig and deep fried pork belly. He was worried that I wouldn't like the dishes. However, the flavours of the dishes weren't far from Chinese food. The pork adobo was pork belly cooked in a concoction of soy sauce and vinegar. I really enjoyed this dish. The deep fried pork belly dish was my least favourite dish because I don't really like fried things. However, the sauce that it came with was delicious (tasted like a version of a plum sauce). Lastly, the bangus sisig was something that I've never had before. It's a fish dish but I swear it tasted like pork. I was so convinced that I was eating pork, my boyfriend had to Google image of bangus sisig dishes for me. This was my favourite dish and I would definitely order it again the next time I visit this restaurant. Be careful of the green peppers thought! They're super spicy! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here and I can't wait to come back to try their other dishes.

It is better this way so that each individual ingredient can be shown clearly. On top of a bed of crushed ice and carnation milk, there are 9 different ingredients plus a scoop of taro ice cream and a cherry on top. It took 10-15 mins to make it. The customer service was good. The Halo Halo was good, but I thought it had too much ice. There is a stage right in front of the food stall. When we were they, there was a children's magic show. There is indoor seating, but it is hard to find a table on the weekends since people linger around longer, especially if they are watching a show. There is free WiFi from the mall. I have never felt so full that I wanted to roll out the door...until now…read more I walk in the door and before I even ordered, the auntie had a ramekin of spiced peanuts for me to eat. This ALWAYS happens. Peanuts, chicharron, etc. ALWAYS. Maybe it's because she recognizes me. I don't know. But she's always putting extras on people's plates. That I know. Just be friendly. I wanted pancit palabok but they didn't have the ingredients that day, so I got batchoy instead. I paid $10/$11? and got my batchoy combo with drink, steamed bun, and batchoy. Batchoy is a noodle dish with egg noodles, some very homey chicken broth, shredded chicken, some sort of pork/beef internal organs, and chicharron crumbles on top. It's simple, but delicious. Mine came in a sizzling pot, so it stayed hot for a very long time. I started taking pictures and she came out and topped up my noodles with more soup because she said I don't eat enough. I restarted my photos. She came out with more chicharron crumbles for me because she said it tastes better with more. Okay. More pictures. She comes out with even more soup, this time flavored with calamansi lime. At this point, I literally have no more space in my bowl for more soup. None whatsoever. I start eating. She comes out with a side of extra chicharron pieces for me to dip into my soup. I'd already paid. This was all extra. WOW. Topped with some of the spicy vinegar they serve their chicharron with, this made for one heck of a good meal. I didn't touch my peanuts so I asked for a bag to bring them home. She put them in a bag for me and loaded in more peanuts. Hospitality at its finest. Their menu is only a small indication of what they actually serve up here. Come and you probably won't see a hot table filled with assorted stews. You will definitely see trays of peanuts and various types of chicharron. I'm talking fried chicken skin, pork skin, and pork intenstine. ALL AMAZING and made in house. Auntie, thank you. I will gain much weight if I continue to visit you, but it'll be worth it.

I explained that I am trying to cancel the order but since they accepted the order I can no longer do it by myself through the UberApp. I asked the lady to cancel the order on their side, she agreed and hanged up. I got a notification that the order was being picked-up. By this time, I am trying to call UberEats support but there is a long wait time. The driver that is picking up the order called me to say that the restaurant is closed and according to the person he spoke to, the owner who accepted the order has already left and the restaurant is already closed. The driver was getting upset because he wasted his time picking up the order, the order was assigned to 4 other drivers before I got through to UberSupport. The item being unavailable is acceptable but the restaurant accepting the order and just closing the restaurant and giving me and all the other drivers a hard time is a whole different story. My time and the time of all the other drivers that were assigned to the order was wasted. I was charged for the order and now I need to contact UberSupport again to get my refund.

Next we got a fried adobo chicken on rice also pretty good. Chicken was crispy and I was smelling it all the way home and couldn't wait to dive in when I got home. Now for the main, we ordered the Kamayan box that we saw on instagram. 5 different proteins, bed of seasoned rice, nice shrimps and fried eggs. Everything worked really well together. My parents were over and they ate with us, never trying Filipino food before. They loved it. The flavours and the sauce that came with it... Just delicious, and a must try. Food was more than enough for all of us, and I have left overs for lunch tomorrow. The staff here are super nice people. The fries are not AMAZING and very pricey but some of the flavours really satisfy a craving for nostalgic flavours. My go-to order is waffle fries with the sweet corn seasoning. Waffle fries make it easier to handle instead of heavily coating your fingers as you eat the other fry types. Fries are all made to order so you'll have to wait up to 5 minutes for your fries to be done (which is what caused all the delays they had during opening). Service is not amazing and a little subpar.
