    Mocha Coffee

Best breakfast we've had in Lafayette. You walk into a warm atmosphere that's intimate, and greeted with amazing service. We started with our drinks which was Nutella signature, with the rum dip in Nutella and whipped cream on top and a Mocha with that one dipped in chocolate, both were outstanding, it's warm not hot so it doesn't effect the cream and chocolate melting. The omelette oasis's that has the pork belly was delicious, with a nice size omelette and the garlic potatoes made the dish a winner all around, The Pancakes berry melt was outstanding, as the berry sauce on top mixed with the fresh blueberries and strawberries was a perfect combination. This was breakfast perfection, can't wait to return.

The place is full of decor and it looks great! It's a lot of fake plants to keep clean but as long as it's kept up with it's very attractive! We sat outside since it was a beautiful day. The service was extremely slow. I'm not sure if it was because we were outside or if they were short staffed since there weren't many people there. The food was served fresh and looked amazing! The cocktails are pretty and looked fancy but I couldn't taste any alcohol. The piña colada is big and sweet so it was like eating a dessert and filled me up. I loved the idea of the popsicles in the drinks, which is a little different way to eat a popsicle, but was a little messy as I observed my friend drinking the drink. Yes, I recommend this place cheers!

Overall, we had a nice experience. The food we had was okay however, the coffee was good. I ordered a piña colada, which tasted great, although it didn't seem very strong. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly, waitress was attentive, and made sure we were taken care of. One thing to keep in mind is that this location doesn't take reservations, so be prepared for a bit of a wait.

If you have spent any time exploring the brunch scene in Lafayette, you know it can sometimes lack creativity, exciting menu options, and true ambiance. Bistrology delivers all of that and more. Bistrology blends Latin flavor with American brunch favorites in a way that feels bold and intentional. Get ready for over the top dishes, decadent pancakes, beautiful cocktails, and presentation that makes you pause before taking your first bite. The restaurant itself is stunning and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a celebration. I was there for my grandmother's 103rd birthday, and the team honored her beautifully. They were also very mindful of my request for handicap friendly seating, which I truly appreciated. Our table of six ordered a variety of items. I had the pistachio pancakes along with the bacon spring scramble, which I shared with my grandmother. The pancakes were flavorful without being overly sweet. I chose to omit the white chocolate sauce, so I recommend carefully reviewing the ingredients and removing anything that does not suit your taste. Rafael, our server, did an excellent job answering questions and walking us through the menu. If you are someone who feels overwhelmed by elevated or more elaborate brunch dishes, the menu may feel like a lot at first, but the staff is very helpful. My one critique is the seating process for larger parties. We observed a table for ten occupied by only two guests for about thirty to thirty five minutes while our entire party of six was present and ready to be seated. They waited nearly forty minutes for the rest of their group. A policy requiring the majority of a party to be present before seating would make the experience smoother and more efficient for everyone. Overall, Bistrology brings creativity, flavor, and ambiance to Lafayette brunch in a way that stands out. If they ever incorporate live music, it would elevate the experience even further. I will certainly return.

Ambience: Tropical/ jungle vibes. Very upscale. Food: Menu is QR code. The coffee and drinks are a separate menu from the food. Lots of food options and coffee/juices to choose from! Coffee takes a sec to get to you. They do have decaf. No sugar at the tables and we had to ask for water. Food was 8/10! We got the american breakfast and bacon crown egg benedict. Good sized portions and good flavor. My husband loved the orange juice, very fresh! Price: $$$ Service: It was VERY busy! But it just opened, you can tell they are working out kinks. It best to order food with your coffee if you want to be in & out. Our waiter was OK but they had managers walking around and helping the staff. I wish our waiter was more attentive. We got a table right away but we were lucky. All in all we will be back to try more things! It's also not just a brunch place. I believe they serve lunch and dinner too!

Amazing cappuccinos and food!!! Excellent service and environment. Music wasn't too loud, I loved the decor. Also, I usually hate Bloody Marys but theirs are SO delicious!! We got salmon ciabatta sandwich, steak ciabatta, and the chicken and waffles. we will definitely be coming back.

I'm giving Bistrology 4 out of 5 stars. The ambiance was great -- very comfortable, clean, and welcoming. It's definitely a nice spot to sit down and enjoy a meal. Their coffee was exceptional, probably one of the highlights of my visit. As a Peruvian myself, I was excited to try the lomo saltado. It was a tasty dish overall, but it wasn't very authentic. It also didn't come with rice, which is traditionally served with lomo saltado, so that was a bit disappointing. The flavors were good, just not quite what I'd expect from a traditional Peruvian preparation. The plantains were slightly on the bitter side as well. Service was somewhat slow, but the overall experience was still positive. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with a great atmosphere and excellent coffee. I would eat here again.

The food was so good I almost cried. The scenery is stunningly gorgeous, the waiters are nice and friendly. The food is so darn good I wanted to eat everything on the menu, I was genuinely upset that I physically couldn't eat everything on the menu. Please do yourself a a favor and come and eat brunch here. I beg of you.

I didn't want to write this review because I get that this is a new restaurant and they may be still trying to work out the kinks in things, but. If you are gonna charge almost 20$ for 4 grilled shrimp or if you wanna call them "prawns" ok, but please remove the intestinal tract that is full of crustacean shit before you cook them. And if you are also gonna serve beef tartar please use a decent cut of meat that way I'm not trying to chew through sinew and giant pieces of undiced beef. And lastly, please don't try and be "fancy" and serve a Guinness in a tulip glass, just use a pint glass it's how the rest of the world does it.

This is a brand new restaurant in Lafayette. I was speaking to the general manager and he said they opened on January 12th. He was absolutely lovely and honestly turned our experience around, explaining the idea and effort that went into bringing it here. At first, I was slightly thrown off because it's nice from the outside and you walk in and it felt rainforest themed but still with a classy feel. The people spoke nicely, but I would say the service wasn't as attentive as I would've liked . Our server at the time seemed a little rushed. The menu was a bit overwhelming because it is HUGE. There is like 11 pages for food and like five separate pages for drinks . I would assume since it's new they are testing some ideas but be prepared to look through a bit. Their menu apparently is also different for dinner after five. Make sure your wallet is wide because it is a bit pricey, but they did shock us with the serving sizes. You can definitely share a bit of things on there. I got the Omelette Diego Rivera if I remember correctly (7.5/10), and my dad got the omelette chicken French?, which he cleared his plate. We also shared the Pancake Berry lovers or surprise I think it was called. Something like that. 7/10 for me. It kinda tasted like cornbread cake. Drinks were the Caramel Signature (8/10; very soft coffee, decor was a little much but neat), Americano (came with a bubble but it popped before the picture; no rating wasn't my drink) *The general manager also did inform us that they do during the week a golden hour from I think 3 to 5 where you can taste brunch and dinner as well as get discounted drinks!

More specifically their flatbreads and loaded fries, which I do not currently see on their website. Most of the time they have loaded fries which in the past have consisted of gravies and sauces. One preparation we ordered came with pickled okra. The fried green tomatoes are also very good, especially to start with or share. As far as main dishes go we have tried the following: All Hail Caesar (Flatbread) Spicy Chicken Sandwich Smoke Fried Chicken-N-Biscuits Social Cheeseburger The Mac n Cheese is a must get as a side in my opinion. One of the first times we visited they had carrot cake as a dessert, we still talk about that carrot cake today. If you are a sweet tea lover this place has a twist which I love. Their sweet contains brown sugar and mint, get it, try it, it's delicious.

My steak was cooked perfectly and was tasty tasty tasty. Fries were hand cut and crisp. My wife had the shrimp and grits and, holy cow, that was delicious! The sauce on her grits was to die for! I stepped it up a notch by dipping my bites of steak into her sauce and my mouth was exploding w delight! If you're a bourbon/whiskey drinker, they have more than enough options to choose from. My wife had a smores flavored old fashion, and it was just up her alley. I had a house old fashioned that was just right. We will definitely return.
