An authentic Chicago dog is an all-beef frankfurter on a poppy seed bun topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges and pickled sport peppers. First of all, my hot dog had too much mustard. I could barely taste anything else. The hot dog did not pop when I bit into it & was squishy which signals poor quality. No poppy seed bun.
