Service was prompt and food was delivered fast. The restaurant is your stereotypical Mexican-american flashy vibe. The food was OK.

Fantastic family joint with authentic street tacos and a newly expanded menu with some crazy giant burritos that may take two humans to consume. Prices are fair and portions are large. We asked for hot sauce and they delivered two house made sauces, one green and one red. Staff were taking Covid 19 safety precautions and stalls are divided by plastic barriers similar to shower curtains.

I will have to say that finding good Mexican food anywhere northwest of Fairfield is hard. For a college town, Oxford is sorely lacking in good Mexican food. So a quick trip to Hamilton is worth it for the folks and food at Taquieria Guanajuato. I've been there three times now, and I will be back. So if that isn't a recommendation, what is? "Authentic?" Well, they do have tongue and tripe on the menu, which is good enough for me. And the servers never flinch when I order them in my street tacos. I've had the chorizo, tongue, tripe, carnitas, and al pastor. The tongue and tripe are especially good, the tripe cooked with a crunch. Corn tortillas on the thicker side, and of course they use soft corn by default on the street tacos. Did someone say "real" Mexican Coke served ice cold in the bottle?! Salsas respectable and chips warm. They seem to be scared to use too much cilantro on anything, but I think maybe they learned to hold back due to local tastes. And on that note: They have an "authentic" menu page (tortas, street tacos, and a burrito) and pages with more Tex-Mex (or American Mex) offerings. I haven't ventured into the offerings slathered in sour cream or fajitas or anything, but I've seen those dishes pass by my table and they look good. When this place gets a liquor license, WATCH OUT!! You won't be able to beat them away with a stick.

Hands down best Mexican in Hamilton. The inside has had a nice remodeling and you can get alcohol now. Food is as always delicious!

The food is good and service as well, I just wish the Horchata was better. But overall a good place to eat.

The parking lot is a little small (pro tip: go around the round about to get to the actual entrance to the lot, the other entrance is blocked off), but it is totally worth the effort. I tried the horchata...huge glass and has incredible floral notes that I've boy had in other versions. 100% recommend! I also tried the cheese and the pork/cheese pupusas. Light, soft and completely delicious, the accompanying cabbage and carrot slaw was acidic and bright. Definitely delicious and the prices are super cheap. The salsas are very authentic, the green one being my favorite. I can't wait to bring people back here. The decor is simple and very clean, and there is a takeout area as well as some seating. The service was very fast and friendly. I'll definitely be back!

I arrived about 8 and it was clear they were already shutting things down. Tables were closed off, bar stools were on the counter, the kiosks were blocked by cones and someone was mopping. I double checked that it wasn't 9. The girl moved a cone so I could order. Got the typical shrimp taco, trashy trailer park, and small queso. Since they were mopping the place smelled like cleaning product so I went outside. Food came quickly, queso first. Something wasn't quite right about it. It was almost like it was broken. It was not good. Next got the tacos and shrimp taco was on point. Grabbed the other one, it had the queso on it, took a bite anyway and I was so salty I couldn't eat it. When I left I noticed 3 other half eaten bowls of queso on the trash can. Needless to say it was a pretty disappointing experience.
