Andy's is always one of our go to spot if we ever pass by it when we're in the burbs!! This's our first time at this particular location! Their vanilla frozen custard is really good! We usually get the butter pecan concrete. But I just got the vanilla custard on a waffle cone this time! I'm a little bit disappointed as the waffle cone is stale, so I only ended up eating the ice cream. On the other hand, the pecan concrete is very good! The pecans are always crunchy, it just adds more texture and flavor to the ice cream! They do have a big selection of items and you can also create your own!!! They have multiple locations throughout the Chicagoland !! You will definitely find something you like!!! Well let's start with the friendly staff, always treating with a smile and a hey welcome back! No matter the weather. After the excellent greeting we get to enjoy our favorite treats.. A Jackhammer ! I love the basics. (Vanilla with Peanut Butter cups & MORE peanut butter cups!!) My wife loves the classic chocolate with sprinkles and peanut butter sauce on top. The overall presentation from the drive thru to the treating and enjoying the wonderful parking lot treat, who wouldn't give them a 5-star review. I'm sad to be moving and will only be able to try it a few more times but in my short stay in the area you found a customer that will never forget the wonderful experience I had getting my desserts. I love Andy's, especially the Mt. Prospect location. This location is always a miss for me. I always order the same sundae, but the workers here just don't know how to build it like how the Mt. Prospect employees do... Not trying to be an a-hole, and I keep coming back and trying to request it like how the other locations do it, but the employees here just keep on dismissing my request with "we don't do that with this topping..." The other locations just set up the gold standard for me, that's it for my two cents. read more

This place is so damn good! There's usually a very long line in the evenings outside and around but somehow still inviting. Walk up and drive through just for custard? Ummm, yes. I've been coming to this location since they opened and they're always on top of it. Let's be real though, there's no such thing as a perfect food service location, sometimes they get orders wrong. I had my husband grab me my usual in which they messed up one of the ingredients in the order, after driving over an hour from place to place he kindly volunteered to grab me my order again. I called in advance and spoke to a manger who went above and beyond to fix my craving! Again, so satisfying! Such a good location. read more

Very creamy frozen custard. The only problem I have with this place. Their milkshakes are two watery and I got a waffle cone with like the most amount of custard you can get and they shorted me. Besides that it's very tasty. I think the owners of this franchise should go onto yelp and see what people are complaining about because this is an easy fix. read more

Great ice cream! We got the oreo and vanilla custard. It also helps that we got at least 10 free cards for small custard from Taste of Melrose that my kiddos and I finished using up. They have good icecream however the prices are not cheap and I do not really seeing us going on the regular. read more

First time going to this location and I wish my first experience was better. I asked for an Andy's BYO Sunday, I specifically only asked for strawberries as my topping and what do you know. Pecans right at the top of my sundae. Not only that, my boyfriend's sundae had two hairs in it. Really nice new store! Great area and a little bit of outdoor sitting and running space for the kiddos. Our order was a little wrong but the manager with the black shirt (I think her name was something Russian Anya or Anastasia) took care of it right away and was very great with my kids and they thought she was very funny.
