I brought my desktop in to get help with the slew of pop ups that I was plagued with. Adi was able to clean everything up for me and then do a tune up which was long overdue. I had tons of problems with my computer that many places could've charged me hundreds to fix but when they finished with mine they charged me only a fraction of what I though they would. The saga continues - I was once again in the Temecula area at the girlfriends grandparents house and I needed to get her grandfathers computer repaired - its amazing how many viruses one old guy can get on the computer! It was mid morning on Saturday and i did not want to take the machine to a Best Buys and have then inexperienced computer techs working on the machine. I needed someone reliable who I could talk to - someone that was not going to gouge her grandfather. Took the machine to Adi at BBNCS and in just a few hours he had the box running like a champ! I bought my first computer from Bits Bytes & Nibbles in 2007. I had him put together a system that was used daily to do CAD/CAM engineering work. That computer still works today and has never had a failure. It runs Windows XP software I need for some old NC machines. In 2013 Adi built me a replacement computer that ran Windows 7. It's been upgraded software wise to Windows 10 and he just finished upgrading the drives to solid state and setting it up with software for backing up files. This computer has never had a hardware failure either. I'd like to upgrade again but it's difficult to justify when this workhorse still runs flawlessly. I've never hesitated to confidently recommend Bits Bytes & Nibbles to friends, family and business associates. I bought my first PC in 1983 so I do have some experience with this type of equipment. My Mac finally died on me without obvious warning. Because of that, I did not have access to my hard drive and all of my photos from the past many many years of my children and many family memories. (Yes I know I should have had a back up system in place). Adi provided me a couple of options. He offered to take the computer to disassemble it, remove the hard drive, and download the requested files to my external hard for a fair price. He also offered that if I felt I was mechanically inclined and had the time to do so (not needing the files immediately), It was easy enough to do the process myself which would save me a great amount of money. Adi took the time to explain the process to me and provided me with the one item I would need to purchase online (this was not something he tried to sell me from his business) at a very small fraction of what he would have charged me to do the work. I ordered the item needed, received it the next day, and had the files downloaded the day after I spoke with him. Because of his honesty and integrity, I will definitely be going back to him for any future computer issues I may have. read more

GET A SECOND OPINION!!! Our daughter was visiting from Los Angeles and had an issue with her computer. We brought her computer to BB&N because she couldn't access some of her files. The tech told her looked like Cryptolocker/ransomware. We left her computer overnight to see what he could do. Picked it up the next day and he told us no luck. All is lost. My daughter took her computer back to LA and went to Computer City Repairs in Westwood. THEY GOT BACK ALL HER FILES. Please, please get a second opinion when told there is no hope. The tech at BB&N needs more training. And....I even tipped him $20 for his time! read more

I was in town on a business trip when my laptop completely crashed! I was in a hurry because I needed my computer for a meeting the next morning. I called a few shops and ended up talking to Eric at Bits Bytes and Nibbles and he told me to come on down and they would have a look at it and diagnosis for free on the spot. Turns out my hard drive went bad so I bought a new one and they installed the latest Windows 10 for me (I previously had Windows Vista.) Plus, they were able to recover ALL of my data from the crashed hard drive. Beyond that, they were willing to stay a little after they normally close to make sure I got my computer back by the end of the day so I would have it for the meeting in the morning. These guys totally SAVED ME! Plus, my computer ran so much faster after I got it back, it was like brand new. Thank you so much! read more

I use to love taking my computer to this awesome shop for repairs. They had some very knowledgable computer guys there and I knew that my computer would be fixed right and work like a dream. But now, Audie the owner, is the only tech there and quite frankly I do not think he knows nearly as much as the other techs he use to employ. I recently had my computer in for some "clean up" and it came back worse than when I brought it in. It had games on there that I didn't put on my computer, there were programs missing and a new version of internet explorer was uploaded to my computer which i later learned from HP that it is not compatable with my version of windows. My computer has been freezing up, running slow. To sum it up, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP FOR COMPUTER REPAIRS. A quick chat with HP and thankfully my computer is now working great. read more

My macbook mouse wouldn't click anymore and was running slow so I took it in to have them give me an estimate. They took it apart and it turns out my mouse was fine and the reason it wouldn't click was that the battery exploded and was physically preventing the mouse button from pressing down. A new battery did the trick. They also recommended that I upgrade my hard drive to a ssd which dramatically increased the performance. They were very helpful and extremely polite! Not to mention they were much less expensive than the Apple store. I would definitely recommend them! read more

I went to this place when the original owner still owned it...they took care of my business computers as well as my personal ones, and they were great....I bring my computer in because it caught a virus the first guy that looked at it told me it would be $98.The next day I received a phone call and the price is over $200 and nothing more was needed then what was first quoted. To make matters worse, I bring my computer home and it rattles and makes sounds that it never made before. I also notice that some of the screws have been replaced so they all do not match..............my computer is less than a year old...never again nor would I recommend this place. read more

This is THE place I will use for any computer repair. Adi is super nice and extra professional. Do not make the mistake I did and take your computer to a guy named Jim working out of his garage -- go to THIS actual repair business! Adi had a chore undoing and re-repairing the work done by a guy who asks customers to write glowing Yelp reviews for a discounted price that never materializes -- stay away from that guy! This review is done voluntarily. Adi is honest and reliable. Even though re-repairing my wife's laptop was more work than anticipated, Adi stuck to the price he quoted. The other repair idiot tweaked the hinges on the laptop, but Adi said they work okay and it would be too risky and costly to replace the hinges. He initially suggested I get my wife a new laptop rather than repair the dated computer, which would have meant no business for Adi, but my wife likes the older operating system and her laptop so I was glad to have it competently repaired. I must have passed Bits, Bytes and Nibbles 1,000 times driving on Jefferson. Now I know that this is THE place to go for computer repair. Adi earned my trust and my business. read more

I called Bits, Bytes and Nibbles because they came very highly recommended from a trusted co-worker. I needed help with security, which can be quite a task--depending on your existing software package--unless you really know what you are doing. I spoke with (Adi?)--who I believe is the Owner. He was quick to answer, with a wonderful spirit of service. He identified some references and sources, and guided me over the phone to try and resolve on my own. The incredible thing here: Adi's follow up was amazing! I hadn't resorted to using their paid for service (didn't need to because of his advice), yet he had a genuine interest in making sure I got my problem resolved.
