Hello, I call this company to fix my MacBook Pro M1, I know what was wrong with it. He responded that he is not able to fix it, but told me that he diagnosed it "I have already taken my MacBook to Apple Store and diagnosed it." I refused to pay for diagnose, then he warned me that if you don't pay me for the diagnose I will throw your MacBook Pro M1 in your Porsche. It was very disgusting in quality and service. I had a problem with the BSOD on my Dell laptop and I took it in. They are right around the corner from my house and the excellent reviews made it an easy decision to choose them. I liked how upfront they were and made me feel confident that they were going to solve my problem without breaking the bank. The next day they said that the problem was with bad memory cards, told me how much that would me, I picked it up the next day (with a new version of Windows) and everything worked like a charm. My system was SO much faster too. Diego and Victor are both Venezuelan (I'm Colombian, so we're neighbors) so that made it very comfortable and familiar right off the bat. My old macpro laptop crashed, so I thought I'd try this place out for repair. A friendly computer technician greeted me, and listened to my problem. However, he was not in charge, and had to direct my problem to a call with his manager over a cell phone speaker. I struggle with hearing loss, so any conversation on the phone is difficult for me. The head technician made a prediction over what might be wrong based by my description. Before even looking at the laptop, they wanted $150 down towards the repair. Two days later I returned to hear their diagnosis. Once again, I had to talk to the head tech over a cell phone's loud speaker. He explained that the battery had exploded and acid ended up all over other parts. He recommended switching parts around with a smaller screened Mac laptop of theirs. With this, I could continue to use my old Cc5 adobe programs. I use them all the time, and would lose out to upgrading to a newer Mac. However, I hated to lose my 17 inch screen. The conversation ended with me just wanting a new battery. I walked out the door a little confused, but believing that they'd be replacing the battery. After two weeks, I never heard from them again, so I dropped by. It turns out that I misunderstood them about the battery. This time I was able to speak to the head tech in person as I asked for a refund of my $150 down payment. After a little bartering, he gave me back $100. He kept $50 for their trouble of looking at it. I ended up taking it to a great place in Fallbrook that didn't charge anything to look. Most places give a free diagnosis. The computer was not repairable, but I was able to switch things around with an equal 17 inch screen for a modest price. I felt ripped off! Friendly workers, but the place is ripoff. read more

We have a Lenovo laptop that overheated, which caused the graphics on the display to appear completely distorted. Initially, we were looking at possible replacement of parts that would have caused in hundred's. But with diligent trouble shooting, Diego and Victor came through and found out that the overheating caused detachment of a couple of components on the PCB board, which had caused these components to malfunction. Hence, they reconnected the components and the laptop was working fine. We were glad and relieved the issue was found and ask what the repair cost came to, but to our pleasant surprise, Victor said they will cover the repair in the diagnostic fee that we had paid. Victor also mentioned a good pointer to maintain the cooling fan by cleaning out the dust on the fan periodically by using a can air-duster. Unfortunately, I can't say I'm happy with the service or the outcome. I took my computer in on 2/28 because it stopped charging. I paid $143.75 up front for it to be repaired. I asked if it was likely to take long to repair and was told no. Victor had asked if I wanted my files, and I said yes, but never got them. I was told that he'd start working on the computer that Monday and give me a call with the assessment. On Wednesday, I called in because I'd gotten no update, and was told the owner had it off-site, so I couldn't be updated yet. I called multiple other times to check on the status, one of those times being told I'd be called right back because Victor was with a customer, and then I didn't get called back. Apparently I'm not an important customer once they have my money. Eventually, about 2 weeks later I was told they could epoxy a crack for another $50 or do something more expensive without a quote for that more "expensive" thing. On March 18, I finally spoke to the person who had my computer, Diego. He said the same thing, but said I'd need to order a part myself if I wanted to do the more expensive thing. He said he'd give me the information to order it. I told him to epoxy it while I order the part. He said he'd have the computer done that day and he'd call me to pick it up. I didn't get called until the next day. I finally picked it up on March 19th and stood around for an hour because the computer was now giving an error message. They had lost my keyboard cover and said they'd look for it. I also never got the information for the part to fix it more permanently and was told he'd look for it on ebay and get back to me, but I doubt it based on the history of service. He told me he wouldn't charge me for the epoxy yet. He also said my computer will probably last another 3 years if I don't open and close it a lot. I took the computer home and noticed the mousepad is no longer positioned correctly when it was before. One side sticks up higher now. I worked on restoring files until it was at a low charge, and then plugged it in to find out it still doesn't charge. I left a message for them that night asking them to call me back, but nobody did. I called in and Victor told me to bring the computer back, and I asked about whether my keyboard cover was found, and got a 'No, sorry.' So, in the end I paid up front for my computer not to be fixed after 20 days, the keyboard cover to be lost, and the mouse pad to be damaged. So gracious of him to hold off on that extra $50. Wish I'd had a better experience. read more

I was looking into upgrading my custom gaming pc since a great deal popped up from one of my friends in college for his CPU and Motherboard. However, after installing the components myself, I had issues with the PC starting and booting up. So, my dad referred me to this shop by one of his coworkers at work and I could not be anymore happy. The team really treats you like family. You walk in, they kindly greet you, and assist you with any problems you need. The Troubleshoot to determine the problem was only $45. This is very fair and they really took the time (2 weeks) to figure it out. I honestly needed my pc, but I would rather have it done right and efficiently. These very kind guys delivered that to me. Although I would have preferred them to call me for updates instead of me bothering them, I do understand that they are extremely busy with customers and it shows due to their work ethic/great character. They explained everything to me better in person and determined that the CPU my friend have sold me was faulty. It could have been from uninstalling from his pc and during the transportation it got damaged or I was just unlucky it shorted out because the Pins on the back were totally fine. With that being said, they recommended me Intel products instead of AMD and explained why its more reliable. So, I went back to an Intel CPU, but upgraded it to 10 Cores with an 10th gen i9 10900k CPU along with an ASUS Z490E Strix Motherboard and 32 Corsair Vengeance RGB Ram. Sadly, I had to buy new parts to complete this upgrade and get my computer back running. However, after the troubleshoot and installations of the new components, the total was only $100 which is a great deal! I wish I could pay more because they did a great job taking their time with it, but I was already out of my budget range since I had to completely buy new parts. They Even did a final check with temperatures and ran my pc before calling me for pick up to make sure everything is ready to go safely. Oh! And they also gave me a brand new Glass for my PC case that was tinted black free of charge which was a definite plus! This is the place to go when you need repairs/upgrades with your custom gaming pc! Now, paired with my 3070 GIGABYTE AORUS GPU, all my programs and games run amazing (180-340FPS). Brought my laptop in for basic repairs. I was given an upfront quote, (which I had to pay, before service), which included a backup of all my files. I was told the service would take two to three days. After not hearing back, after four days, I called and inquired. I was given a runaround and was told it would be another week. Fast forward to three plus weeks later, and now my laptop has a critical error, some of the keys do not work, I've lost files, (and no backup was given to me). The place seemed unprofessional, when I dropped off my laptop, but I trusted the positive online reviews, (I should have trusted my instinct). But I'm compelled to have to send this second review focusing on "YELP" misbehaving and culprit of removing my "original" review on this business I'm listing above that's worthy of outstanding reviews. I have found out that YELP removes really good reviews from customers regarding good businesses that are not paying for YELP services. In addition, YELP removed my review & indicated my review as "NOT RECOMMENDED". I can't figure out why YELP would manipulate a customer review, they didn't even try to communicate with me to inquire if I was a real customer of this business, and of course I have a YELP account. That said, having reviewed YELP's Policies on how they deal with "reviews," it's really unfortunate YELP doesn't follow their own guidelines or "ethical" standards.
