OMG this 15 min drive was WORTH IT!!! I had the butter pecan, birthday cake and strawberry cupcakes and they gave me LIFFFEEEEEE!!!Ummmmm ABSOLUTELY delicious!!! SERIOUSLY!! The icing is SO good and the cake is very moist!! They taste HOMEMADE and made with LOVE!! I've been on a search for a bakery that has this texture of cake and icing and I found it!!! I ordered a wedding cake through this small business owner only to be DISAPPOINTED!! I showed an employee what cake I was looking to get made on pinterest and I specifically asked if it could look just like the picture and I was told yes..... My wedding cake looked like my 11yo son put it together. I was warned before I saw the cake about how bad it looked. It was leaning and lumpy. No smoothness at all . I reached out on Facebook to get ahold of the owner. It was one thing after another and I have yet to speak with the owner. This was a month ago, still NOTHING. This was a long time in the making and to see that cake just mortified me. Lesson learned the hard way. I always Love to buy local. I stop by on a Thursday and bought 6 cupcakes .he first one I tried was the Boston Cream one. Very disappointed. Not even a dime size amount of cream. I am willing to bet that it was a box cake mix. So Friday I tried the Chocolate Cupcake. Frosting was okay but the cupcake was aready dry. I baked some cupcakes myself on Monday and frost them on Tuesday. and Yes I used a box cake but added a pudding mix and a extra egg. I ate one on Friday and it was still moist. I threw away the other four I bought. I do not mind the price but the size was small. I can go to other bakeries and pay about the same but they are bigger. Good Luck. read more

This place is right by my house so it definitely has the convenience factor. There is no consistency in the cupcakes, sometimes they're dry, sometimes moist, you never know what you're gonna get. My biggest issue with this place is their operating hours, they have certain hours posted on the door and online but yet are never open! I have tried different times of the day, even when the open sign is turned on the door is locked. It's really frustrating when you have a child who's been asking for cupcakes and you pull in only to find out the door is locked during their posted business hours! Very disappointing. read more

The cupcakes I got from here were the lightest, fluffiest, moistest cupcakes that I've ever had in my life. The Orange Dreamsickle , Banana Spilt, Strawberry Lemonade and White Chocolate Macadamia were all equally amazing. Seriously, delicious... I felt a little claustrophobic when I entered the shop since the inside area is just a small space , possibly fitting 4-5 people at a time maybe, but the place is super cute, clean and nicely decorated. read more

We ordered a cake from Bits and Bites bakery. This cake was poorly decorated. I honestly have no idea how it tasted because we returned it. This was for a special occasion and we were very dissatisfied with the way the cake looked. When we brought this to the attention of the owner she made excuse after excuse about why the cake looked the way it did. She blamed the frosting for our poorly decorated cake. Not only did the cake look like it was decorated by a child but there were also finger marks in the frosting. The owner didn't even offer to remake it or fix her mistake. Came in yesterday to treat my boys to the $2 special cupcakes as I have done many times before. I love to support local and even more so black owned businesses but unfortunately will not be returning here. 2 out of the 6 cupcakes where very dry and seemed to be old. I reached out to store and explained the situation, hoping she would rectify the situation to keep a customer but nothing. Not even a sorry . I'll stick with H-E-B cupcakes until i find a better bakery with better service. Go in at your own risk the cupcakes make be stale . read more

The shop is cute and they are very good at presentations. The cupcakes looked amazingly delicious. I bought a dozen cupcakes so that I could try all the flavors they had at the time. The cake parts of the cupcakes were very dry and most of the frostings had a bit of a chemical taste which bothered me. So I won't be back and wouldn't recommend, it was disappointing. read more

I walked into the location in the PX on post and looked around for some things to buy but the sales associate did not acknowledge the fact that I was even in the store not one time. So we left out and she still never even said a word. She knew we were in there, saw us come in she looked up and then she continued to go do something else and said nothing the whole entire time. I met these folks at Bolora light show the night before my husband's birthday. She said she would try to fit in making the cake for the next day then an hour later on facebook, she said she would fit in the cake and make it the next day. When I tried to call and check on the status of my cake in the morning I was hung up on without any reply at all and then I had to use my husband's phone to get through to check, they promptly told me that they are too busy and can't make it. We stopped here on our way home from visiting family in Ft Hood. The cupcakes are delicious and I'm sad that: a) we don't live anywhere nearby and b) I didn't buy more than two. Me and a friend of mine visited this establishment, at the time they were in the pink house, I looked to my left, and I thought I would be looking in the mirror, but I could actually see into the back of the store where a young lady was preparing cupcakes, I told the young lady that we enjoyed her cupcakes, this prompted my friend to laugh at me, and then I guess the person that was the owner she took one look at me and my friend and threw her hands up in the air and shouted "I knew it would be those kind" I knew what she meant by "those kind" and so did the person whom assumed was husband/ business partner came over to shake our hand, and thank us for our business, the only "those kind" she could have meant was young black men, we were the only people of "those kind" in the store, and to top all off, the cupcakes were dry, so if you're looking for moist cupcakes, and you're one of "THOSE KIND" definitely do not go here! read more

This place is very clean and cute and reasonably priced however the staff- one staff member in particular is extremely rude. The girl behind the counter when you first walk in is very nice and down to earth. I wanted help with a wedding cake order. I wasn't sure what I needed to do or what flavors I wanted. I understanding that it was a tall order was okay when she went to the back to get help. She came back out with a tall woman of color that was oozing sass. The lady very shortly and matter of factly asked: "how many layers?" I said three. She then said "well it's $155 with tax and we need a 20$ deposit when you order" I explained that I only wanted information and would decide if I wanted to order later on. She didn't ask me which flavor. She didn't ask me if I wanted to sample. She didn't ask me when my wedding even was. Isn't wedding cake tasting a thing? What is it with companies wanting money right up front before you know if you're satisfied with their services? I just was hoping for a more personal and fun experience especially since it was a local shop and I try to promote local businesses as much as possible. Horrible business.....my daughter ordered a cake for my granddaughter's 1st birthday and when she went to pick it up the cake was 2 tier instead of the 3 tier ordered and had a 2 on it. Then tried to blame it on the fact a coworker paid for the cake instead when the coworker paid the same price as the price quoted to my daughter yet they delivered a smaller cake that was not even correct and had the wrong number on it and very poorly put together on the day of pick up. And the coworker offered to pay for my granddaughter's cake out of the kindness of her heart due to my daughter is a young single mother. This business is very unprofessional and I would recommend Lily's Cakes in Harker Heights any day over this place. read more

We ordered a custom tiered cake it cost us $300 for only 4tiers. And they delivered and set up for an extra $50 the cake did not stand straight was leaning. It was up and out for over 4 hours when we cut into it, it was frozen in center. And one of the layers was not completely cooked and gooey. Could never get a straight answer from anyone and everyone acts like they do not know about the orders. They never asked what flavors we wanted the cakes. read more
