Quiet spot for a quality crepe. Came on Friday ~7 PM and was surprised by how calm and quiet the atmosphere was. Cozy with dim lighting, mildly welcoming vibe. Ordered the walnut crepe ($12). Portion-wise it's on the smaller side, but the quality made up for it. Crepe itself was soft with slightly crisped edges giving a nice contrast in texture. The cream was the star -- thick with a perfectly salty-sweet balance that kept every bite interesting instead of one-note. The walnuts added a satisfying crunch that broke up the richness and gave the whole crepe more dimension. Ordering is done at a screen, and I noticed only a handful of crepes have photos. My guess is those are the ones they're promoting, but it would be nice if more options had pictures so you know what to expect. The walnut crepe I ordered did have a picture. After you finish, there's a bin by the door where you drop off your dish. Overall, this is a place that focuses on quality over quantity. The walnut crepe felt crafted with intention, and while you won't walk away stuffed, you will leave satisfied. We came here for dessert and were able to park easily in the shared, but quiet strip mall. There were only a couple of parties there when we arrived as it was early for dinner. You can order with the human(s) or use the touchscreen, which we opted for as it was easier to see all the options and ingredients in each. I got the Nutella chocolate crepe and it had all the things and came out quickly. I'd never had a crepe with ice cream in it and I highly recommend! Vanilla ice cream, with nutella, oreo crumble, chocolate chips and whipped cream! What's not to like? The crepe shell was very thin, so could have been a bit thicker. Came here late in the evening for a dessert and coffee. Ordering is via a touch screen kiosk at the front of the store. After checking the options I decided to order the coreo crepe and a cappuccino. A nice touch is that for the coffee you can opt for decaf. First time I've seen an espresso drink option like that on a kiosk. While waiting I took in the decor. The restaurant has dark wood or laminate flooring, brown faux leather couch seating and wooden tables, but the walls are painted grey in the front and lighter in the back. It helps balance the lighting so it isn't too dark. WiFi password is by the order pickup area. The crepe and cappuccino were ready in about 10 minutes. Coffee was served in a ceramic cup and not a to go container. Big plus there. The coreo crepe was flaky and delicious. It wasn't French style straight off the griddle, but it was really good. I had the whole place to myself for a while. I did hear someone come in and thought they had picked up a to go order. I didn't realize they had seated themselves near the door at the reserved for 6+ table until I left. The inside is big enough that it was completely quiet for me in the back and I had no idea there was a large noisy party by the door. I drove 45 minutes to come back to a place I used to love, but this visit turned out to be really disappointing. After waiting about 30 minutes for my order to even be started, I was about to be handed a flat, stale crepe. When I mentioned that this wasn't what I was used to, the young man raised his voice and told me I *should have said something before he started*. I was confused--how was I supposed to know I needed to explain what a crepe should be like AT A CREPE SHOP!? Things got worse from there. He went back and forth with me, saying I should've added it to the order, and was just generally rude. I asked him to remake the crepe, he mumbled under his mask, then picked up a call on a dirty phone using the same gloves he was wearing to handle our food to talk on the phone and started making my order wrong again. When I pointed it out, instead of remaking it properly, he just threw the missing toppings on top of the crepe he had already made. Overall, the experience was nothing like what I remembered. The service was rude, the food was poorly made, and I left disappointed. I really hope the staff gets better training and stops serving stale crepes, handling food unsafely, or raising their voice at customers. We ordered & paid on the tablet near the entrance. I've had this place saved for a while now and finally went to check it out! The decor inside is really nice. The ordering system is right when you walk in, the only complaint I have is that nothing contains a description of what your ordering but it was a fast process. You can see the workers making the crepes in front of you by the menus. We only ordered basic crepes but it was incredibly delicious! My only complaint is that the crepe itself was cold, personal preference I would have wanted it to be warmer. I will be returning to try more options! read more

Crepes Square is a cafe that sells coffee, tea, smoothies, non-alcoholic mocktails, crepes, and a special "Cookie Monster" milkshake. At the time of writing this review, they say cakes are coming soon, so cakes may be available by the time you read this. This is a humble, quiet, Korean-owned business that opened October 2015 at the Shops at Horizon Corners (same shopping center as 770 Korean BBQ) in Suwanee, just off I-85 exit 111. This shop has friendly service and I thought the crepes and coffee I had here were A-OK. Inside, the cafe has a simple, rustic, and industrial look. There are various areas to sit in including an elevated section near the storefront's windows, along a banquette that faces the ordering counter and open kitchen, and in a semi-private room in the back. There are also a couple tables underneath the awning on the sidewalk patio out front. The interior isn't as elaborately decorated nor as polished as some of the bigger name bakery-cafes in Gwinnett County, but the decor is still nice and the place has a genuine charm all its own. Above the open kitchen, which features two crepe griddles, fresh fruit and other ingredients, and an espresso machine, is a black chalkboard wall menu. Coffee and tea come in one size only and cost $2.99 to $3.99 per serving. Crepes Square's coffee is made with 100% arabica beans. They offer eight different kinds of lattes including green tea, Nutella, and white chocolate. Teas include Korean teas like ginger, citron, plum, and quince (fruit). Smoothies are made with real fruit such as mango, strawberry, blueberry, kiwi, and lychee. They come in two sizes and range in price from $4.99 to $6.99 each. There are over a dozen mocktails and they include typical drinks like mojitos and pina coladas and not-so-typical drinks like the "Cookie Monster" and "Duh We Sa Nyang." The menu doesn't have descriptions of what's in these drinks, so you'll have to ask the staff. Mocktails range in price from $4.99 to $7.99 per drink. Crepes Square offers both sweet and savory crepes. On the menu, the sweet crepe selection appears to be much bigger than the savory crepe selection, but it's really not that much bigger. The sweet crepe menu simply lists out many of the different combinations you can make with the sweet crepe ingredients such as Nutella, cream, strawberry, kiwi, banana, and blueberry. Special crepes include crepes with names like the "BCC," "Coreo," and "Giant Sumo." Like the mocktails, the menu doesn't describe what's in these crepes, so once again, you'll have to ask the staff. I believe the Coreo is some sort of Oreo crepe and I was told by the staff that the Giant Sumo comes with "everything." Most sweet crepes range in price from $3.50 to $6.50 per crepe. The most expensive crepes are the cheesecake crepe ($7) and the Giant Sumo ($13). Savory crepes are listed under the "Hot" section of the menu and cost $5.99 each with three toppings. Toppings include ham, bacon, tomato, cheese, egg, honey, tree nuts (yes, they're listed simply as "tree nuts" on the menu), the aforementioned fruits, and cream cheese. I ordered two crepes. It was fun to watch them get made. The first crepe I had was a hot crepe made with ham, egg, and cheese. The crepe contained two eggs and the cheese was white cheese. The crepe was folded, drizzled with a small amount of syrup, topped with three strawberry slices, and sprinkled with powdered sugar. This gave what was actually a savory crepe a sweet crepe appearance. I thought the crepe was fine. It was a OK snack. The second crepe I ordered was Crepes Square's most popular crepe, the "Fusion" crepe. It came with slices of strawberry, kiwi, and banana with Nutella hazelnut spread, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and nuts. This crepe looked fantastic and tasted delicious. It wasn't too heavy which I appreciated. The kiwi was slightly hard and unripe, but the rest of the ingredients were tasty. Both the savory and sweet crepes had appetizing texture and consistency. Some of my friends got the cheesecake crepe and it looked rich and decadent. I believe it's a slice of cheesecake inside a crepe with whipped cream and other ingredients. They loved it and preferred it over the Fusion crepe. I considered ordering it, but it looked too heavy for me at the time. I also had an iced Nutella latte and it was yummy. It was very sweet and creamy and served with lots of ice. Service was good. The staff was kind. There was a language barrier. I asked for descriptions of some of the menu items and the explanations weren't very clear. There's free Wi-Fi. The password is crepes1234. In the end, if you're looking for crepes, Crepes Square is not a bad place and is one of the only creperies you're going to find in this part of metro Atlanta. read more

My husband knows how much I love crepes...Growing up with parents from Belgium my mom frequently made crepes and as an adult I also make crepes regularly. So we decided to have a late night treat and went to this establishment. Prior to writing this review I read several of the existing reviews and honestly I am quite confuse at all of the positive reviews!!! Either these folks have no experience with what a good crepe should taste like or what texture and consistency is should have or the owner went to all their friends in the community to write up fairy tale reviews!!! Crepes are suppose to be tender and soft and can be made with a variety of filling. However what we received was a like a chewy piece of leather with some sweetness and a ton of toppings. The world does not revolve around Nutella! Just about every crepe on the menu had Nutella. These crepes were as awful as the employees/owner. When you walk in there is no one to greet you. You walk up to this marquee to select the crepe you want and pay. Then you sit and wait and wait and wait some more in uncomfortable seating. Heaven forbid the staff/owner were to speak to you or say thank you for spending just about $20.00 for 2 pathetic crepes. My dog would have had a hard time chewing these things!! So to summarize, you receive bad food, bad service and spend a bunch of money!!! Heck the service is better at McDonalds and they at least acknowledge that you are in their facility. When I first walked in it was fairly empty. My plans were to get some work done on my computer in a nice cafe. Once I walked in I was greeted and instantly asked if I was ready to order without even looking at the menu. I politely asked if I could put my stuff down and get situated first but felt pressured to order right away. After awhile I was able to put my things down and get comfortable then look at the menu. I ordered the espresso to start off since I needed the caffeine to wake up. I'm personally not a fan of coffee and it was definitely strong and probably exactly how espresso drinkers would like it. I later ordered the strawberry crepé later with the pineapple sunshine and that was very refreshing. The strawberry crepe was very tasty and beautifully made. The pineapple drink was tasty as well and sweet. However I did think it came with a slice of pineapple on the side as a garnish but the pictures on yelp are several years old and they no longer add those to the drinks. I would like to have those back if that is something they could offer again. The lady who greeted me at first was friendly after I ordered the crepe and beverage. We came here for breakfast late on a Saturday morning because Huskers, our usual breakfast spot, was closed for maintenance. I was skeptical at first because hardly anyone was here, and I wasn't really in the mood for a sweet dessert crepe. We initially looked at the menu on the board behind the counter to decide what we wanted, but we were directed to use the electronic menu to place our orders. The prices on the electronic menu were all a few dollars higher than what was posted on the board, but given how prices at most restaurants have gone up over the past year, this is understandable. And in retrospect, the electronic menu was really pretty convenient. We decided to try a few of the savory crepes, two with bacon and one with sausage, and one dessert crepe, the one with whipped cream and chocolate. We were worried that we might have to wait a long time as there seemed to be only one person working (possibly the owner), but at least there was no one ahead of us. In all I think it was only about 15-20 minutes between placing our order and getting all of our food. The savory crepes were brought out first, followed by the dessert crepe. The crepes were delicious! The bacon crepe, especially, was our favorite. In addition to bacon it was filled with tomatoes and onions, and I believe some other veggies as well. It was a really great balance between lightly sweet and savory. The chocolate crepe was a hit as well, but I was barely able to get a bite before everyone else had eaten it up. The sausage in the sausage crepe was surprisingly spicy, to the point of slightly overwhelming the other flavors, but it was still really good and a nice balance to everything else. After we had eaten and the group that was there before us had left, the woman working there (who was Korean, and mostly likely the owner) came by our table and asked us how we liked everything. The place is Korean owned (I believe) and operated and they specialize in both sweet crepe and savory crepe as well as having other options like tiramisu. The place has a self serving kiosk that you order and pay at and they will bring the order to you (if it's not busy i think). The crepes are about $6-$8 depending on the choice and you can pay extra for addons. I like salty and savory stuff so I ordered the Muscle Crepes(chicken breast, mushrooms, tomato, egg) and really enjoyed it. The crepes had a nice thin to lightly crispy texture and the powdered sugar gave it a nice little sweetness with the savory item. I had to come here when I saw snapchats of lattes with COTTON CANDY on top! The place has a very rustic feel to it, and it is very roomy. The front half of the restaurant has more public seating while the latter has more private. My gf and I got the green tea latte with cotton candy( of course) and the blueberry and cream drepe. First, I must say that the experience of having the cotton candy in the latte is awesome! Even such a small detail adds to the excitement and gives the drink a little UMPH. Points for the added flare to the usual and boring way of lattes here in the Atlanta area. This is how you step out of the norm! As for the taste, it was... just decent. I can see the appeal of cotton candy mixing with certain lattes, but it totally made the green tea taste weird XD. The blueberries and cream crepe was pretty good too.
