Loved the atmosphere, but be prepared for a wait- IT'S WORTH IT! The staff was so friendly and fast with drinks. My family got the bread nuggets to start and they were crispy, garlicky, and the marinara sauce was so good. We ordered a pan cheese and double dough- and they both came out piping hot and delicious. The cheese and sauce both were authentic. For desert my kids requested the Nutella pizza.... Mixed reviews, but my Nutella lover kiddo couldn't stop eating it. 10/10 will be back! read more

Went to this restaurant last night after being in Alvarado and wanted some really good Italian food and I've heard of this place. This place did not disappoint. We got calamari as a starter, which was amazing the marinara sauce that went with it and I'm not a big marinara sauce was amazing. Not too acidic. A great flavor, we decided to not pizza but something my husband got the chicken Parmesan and I got the creamy pestolinguini. Everything you know is made fresh and with love my pesto linguine was amazing. I'm not a big linguine fan or noodle person, but that sauce was so good I could have had nothing but sauce And chicken I had added My husband's chicken Parmesan he said was very good and had amazing flavor. First off. Pizza was good. No complaint. Sadly, I'm sick to my stomach with the money I spent on 3 chicken dishes. The chicken is definitely microwavable. We got a chicken parm sandwich. Crispy chicken sandwich. And chicken Alfredo pasta. Without even touching it, we knew it was just like a frozen chicken patty. But it tasted worse. An air fryer or oven would've done it wonders :( I agree with another comment about the watery Alfredo sauce too. It was not very warm either. I hate feeling like someone scammed me out of my hard earned money...but they did. To charge $16 for those dishes was shameful. Had I ordered a pizza to go...I would've been just fine. I hate hate hate that I ordered the way that I did and that now, it cost me tip money too! Oh yeah....and a 40 min drive to try it. Smh. read more

We visited Biundo's this afternoon. The food was great! The pizza crust was perfect...it was true Chicago thin crust the way most Chicagoans prefer. The pizza toppings were delicious...perfect Italian sausage and mushrooms. We brought dessert home and just finished that. The Limoncello cake was wonderful. I'll need to make the trip to Venus again soon to sample an Italian beef sandwich. read more

We heard there was this great Chicago style pizza place in Venus so we decided to drive an hour to check it out. Well worth the trip! Meatballs were fabulous and the stuffed pizza was unique and very tasty. We will certainly go back. Love the food and atmosphere of the small town feel. read more

Drove 45 minutes and the pizza was well worth the drive. Had the pan pizza and it was excellent. Their pan and stuffed pizza do take longer to cook, however worth the wait. The waitstaff and owner were very attentive. Location is in an old historic building and has a nice ambiance and was very clean. We will be back. read more

As former residents of Illinois we were excited to see a true restaurant from home. We saw the menu and photos through their social media and immediately wanted the deep dish (Chicago style) and an appetizer of bruschetta plus 2 kids meals. We are HUGE bruschetta fanatics and we have to try them wherever it's offered. This "bruschetta" was literally garlic bread with cut up tomatoes on top. Nothing else. The deep dish, which the employee indicated it was the same pan pizza (it's not), was just a regular pizza. Then the kids menu, fries were horrible but the tenders were decent. We also order the cannolis to see how they taste but to be honest, I gave little hope that it will bring me back to my memories from home. The employees were nice.. so customer service they do not lack. I just hoped for more of that Chicago feeling like they advertised. read more

Took my wife here based on a recommendation from a friend. He told me that they had authentic Chicago style pizza and I was pretty excited to try it. The facade looked appealing and upon walking into the restaurant we stood there for several minutes before we were greeted and seated. Our waitress seemed nice at first but acted put off with our questions about the menu. No big deal. We ordered two appetizers. Chicken strips and meatballs. When she brought us the appetizers the chicken looked and tasted like it came out of a bag frozen and was just microwaved. The meatballs tasted soggy and microwaved. No big deal, we came for the pizza. My wife ordered a pan cooked chicken, tomato, and spinach pizza and I ordered the pan cooked beef and Canadian bacon pizza. They looked absolutely delicious upon arrival to our table but after the first bite I knew we made the wrong decision to come here. I'm pretty sure my friend has never even been to Chicago! The crust was thin and burnt with two inches of cheese to mask its imposterdom! We will not be returning. The price for our dinner was $68.00! read more

This is the best Italian food I have had in years! We ordered a few different dishes to share while we waited for a Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza to cook. (Deep dish add 30 minutes.) The Chicken Parmazon was out of this world, eye rolling good. The red sauce was thick and full of freah Italian seasonings. The chicken portion was a large, perfectly breaded master peace. We added side salads, and they were garden fresh. The croutons are homemade. The deep dish pizza showed up, and the smell was intoxicating, I swear I heard angels singing has the pizza landed on our table. I took my first bite of that thick slice, and yes, the angels were singing after all. The sweet tea was so good, so worth the calories. The service was very laid back. We had a great server, and she was great! She had one speed, "casual speed." She was never in a rush or hurry, but we never lacked anything either. She was entertaining, and I enjoyed our casual dining experienc. I can't wait to go back.
