My gracious they were busy.... But service was still top notch and they had plenty of staff to service and turn tables. My boyfriend had the traditional breakfast. He realllly enjoyed the bacon and the pancake. I have the croissant breakfast sandwich, which I ate for two meals. It was reallllly yummy. I also like their coffee!!!

Midlothian is SO lucky to have this establishment. I remember the restaurant that was here before, and Ale's is such a huge upgrade for this community. I definitely want to thank the owners that have kept the food quality and service and pricing consistent for the several years that they have been open now. They recently added a back patio to their spot, because they fill up! I particularly like breakfast on the weekends, but their chicken fried steak is excellent. Nothing tastes like it came out of a can or the freezer. This is a restaurant we can take visitors and everyone goes home happy. The service is high schoolers as is typical in the area, but they do a great job here.

Delicious! Everything I've ever tried there. I'm fond of the chicken Alfredo. Pictured. Large portion with garlic toast. Highly recommend.

Asparagus, mashed potatoes, salmon and roll.

The food is delicious cooked fresh and a large size portion. The mimosas are delicious made the way you like them. The service is great! Me and my daughter go here quite a lot! The place is clean and friendly environment. We do recommend this spot.

    Great menu.

Oh yummy, we were meetings friends at Ale's for breakfast on a recent Saturday morning. The place was hopping. Fortunately, our friends arrived first and secured a table. We had to park WAY back behind the restaurant. There's isn't much available parking. We were greeted warmly as we came through the door. Ale's has an extensive menu, everything looked SO good. Our friend's ordered a breakfast burrito and Ale's Pancake Breakfast. my wife ordered a bacon and cheese omelet and I opted for the Florentino Benedict. Of course, we had coffee for all of us. Watching the trays of delectable breakfasts coming out of the kitchen we knew we were in for a treat. Even though the restaurant was almost full to capacity, service wasn't rushed. We had plenty of time to chat and get caught up on what's been going on. Our food was so delicious. That's one huge pancake on the Ale's Pancake Breakfast platter. My Florentino Benedict was very good. It could have used a bit more sauce but overall, it was a good breakfast entree. We had a great time and will return again soon when we're in the area.

French toast + berries, scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and home potatoes

Stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon for brunch. The place was pretty busy but we were seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was pleasant and our food came out quickly. For drinks, I ordered a mimosa and the hubby had a margarita. No complaints there. Hubby had never had fried pork chops so he ordered the breakfast option which came with 2 nice size chops plus eggs, home potatoes, and toast. He enjoyed his food and was knocked out when he got home from the heaviness of his meal. Lol. I wasn't as pleased with my French toast with berries, turkey bacon, home potatoes, and eggs. The French toast was burnt so I could taste the char in every bit. Also I should have opted out of the berries because they were drenched in a sauce that made the entire dish overly sweet. Syrup wasn't needed at all. Overall the place seems to be a local hangout spot. They have a bar plus tvs playing. There were a lot of flies in the place likely from the door opening and closing. Not sure if I'd go back here since I have experienced better brunch and breakfast at other places but we'll see.

We came on a Sunday afternoon and waited for 22 minutes with an estimated wait of 20-25 minutes. The seating is very close, so be comfortable with sitting next to people that are not in your party. The French toast bites were great! The dip complimented the "funnel cake" taste. The food was decent, nothing spectacular.

The place was fully booked, but the hostess saved the day and offered us lounge seating on the sofas. Honestly, it felt a little VIP...like we'd accidentally wandered into the cool kids' corner. I halfway considered putting on my sunglasses indoors just to commit to the moment, maybe even asking if they offered bottle service in the lounge. Within 10 minutes we were settled in and already getting excellent service. And as if the vibe wasn't good enough, there was a one‑man show crooning jazzy tunes in the background. He was smooth, talented, and added just the right soundtrack for an early dinner. Think "speakeasy energy," but suburban‑friendly. Now, the food. My husband ordered the Crunchy Pig sandwich, my sister went for the half rack of ribs, and I claimed the smoked turkey BLT. Everything hit the table about 20 minutes later, hot, fresh, and so lip‑smacking tasty that we inhaled every bite before remembering we meant to take pictures. My apologies to the food‑photo purists; trust me, the plates were camera‑ready before we destroyed them. If you find yourself wandering around The District in Midlothian, do yourself a righteous favor and grab a memorable meal here. Great food, great service, great music, and apparently great sofas.
